Oh you big meanies making her give it up at only 5 years old!I hope Brookie doesn't keep it that long. I'm really hoping that preschool will help.
Hm...no binkies in Michigan, eh? My bro- and sis-in-law are adopting a baby from China. I wish they would get the baby already and then I could use that story too...(they live near Detroit). Some bragging here...my bro-in-law is a big wig for Business Week magazine. He sometimes also writes articles in, I think, Auto Week and is on CNN frequently when they are talking about the American auto makers. His name is David Welch. Okay, bragging done.
What town do they live in? Bob's mom is from "Warren", which is near Detroit, and his sister is in "Lake Orion"...
Yes, Faith will be 3 Aug 13th...She still uses paci and is not potty trained. What a horrible mother I am![]()
Dana had her pacifier until she was 3 years 4 months old... she potty trained at 3 years 2 months old... she got rid of her bottle around the same time...
We went to WDW two weeks after she turned 3 with bottles, pacifiers, pull ups, and diapers... lol You can't push them - they all do things on their own time - you aren't a "horrible mother"!![]()

I dont know why, its not like she is changing diapers or even buying them. I potty trained two other kids, so I am not in fear, yet
We took the passie away "cold turkey" one weekend when she was 3 1/2......but I left her in her crib until months later, cause I KNEW she'd be up looking for it! The other moms said "Uh, Tracy, ya gotta get the kid outta the crib before kindergarten!!"
I have no idea why but I am. You all are too good at what you do and I'm not sure I can do it that well
Works either way though, doesn't it? My little guy wakes up cranky, too. Luckily, he has given up his naps (and paci) this summer at almost 4. I just didn't have the heart to deprive him of his paci when it gives him so much comfort.
