I'm chiming in late!
But I adored all the hats & fascinators!! But, then, I'm a hat person! I used to wear one all the time on Easter Sunday, but, the last couple of years, I haven't because I was the only one wearing one & I started to feel silly. Just recently, we switched churches, &, this Easter, I was overjoyed to see 2 ladies wearing hats! So, next Easter, I may wear a hat again!!
Anyway, I do agree that Andrew's daughters' headpieces were a bit much!!!

I mean, really!! What were they thinking? And did no one look at them and say, "No"? The comparison to the stepsisters is apt!!
And I also thought the same thing about how they carried themselves... they kinda loped out of their car at Buckingham Palace. They just look... messy. Sorta like their mother. But, one would think that someone would take them in & teach them the correct way to walk & sit... how to act like princesses.
I think some people just have "it" & some people don't. The Spencer girls looked fab & could totally carry off their fascinators. It was all in their carriage.
Me... While I loved many of the more unique headpieces, I'd be afraid that I wouldn't have "it", so I'd probably end up in a boring hat.
Oh, &, except for her dress, I thought Posh looked good... she always wear way higher heels than I ever could, but I thought her dress was a departure from her usual look.
Chelsea was Chelsea.
I was surprised the prime minister's wife didn't wear a hat.
