Wow the news got to you before us. Perhaps they don't feel they will get the private time they wished for and if they leave it a little while the interest might die down a bit.

Commentators were suggesting that due to the "success" of how the wedding was pulled off in the time of austerity (?) in the UK, that it may have been a PR move to keep the good will of the people by having the Duke return to work. It was not suggested that it was an issue of privacy.
I do not recall the gentleman that was interviewed on Today, but he seemed to be knowledgeable enough about the UK and royal family conduct that it seemed a sensible explanation.
It practically looks like she sent a stunt double to Westminster Abbey. The wedding outfit (while I honestly didn't think it was that bad), did not do her any justice at all when we see her in this photo.
Some of those hats are really odd but I have to admit that I admire these ladies. They are willing to take risks and be different and I guess that you're going to look silly sometimes when you do that.
I did love some of the dresses though and I think that the men looked particularly nice. I heard their style of dress referred to as formal morning wear and I loved it.
I think Princesses B&E looked fabulous for the evening party. And thankfully B got rid of all that horrible black eyeliner. These ladies clean up nicely!
I got to thinking about the hats last night.
Some of our really older members, where hats, or these
veils over there heads during Mass time.
Maybe it is the Angelic Religion-women must cover.
Thus the hats, gloves, nylons.
And if they figure they need to wear hats, why not make them outlandish.
I would really like to know the reason why these women wore hats during the ceremony. The women that did not were critized right away for not covering their heads.

I'm English and honestly I have no idea why some people wear hats on their foreheads. Its mainly only royal people or you know, higher class people. You wouldn't go out in the street and see someone with a forehead hat (well you might but it'd be a very weird ocassion and you may want to take a photo and put it on facebook ).

Yep.
I witnessed a British Wedding in Florida at the Ritz, and the bridesmades had on these beautiful white "short" dresses with a touch of green in them, with green sashes. It was Spring time and so appropriate for a morning wedding. They had a tea reception and everything was over by 2 in the afternoon. Plus this was all outside-so technically I really wasn't stalking. The groom and his groomsmen wore those morning coats too. I think the bride had a long dress on, I don't remember. I have never seen a morning wedding-and no one at the Wedding had hats on.
