At least that's what I noticed in the Orlando area driving from the airport to WDW and when we drove to the Space Coast. I've asked a couple of people while down in WDW and either they didn't know, to keep the mosquitos and bugs out and the one that the towncar drive told me that she seemed very very sure of herself was that the UV Rays were much stronger in Florida due to the proximity to the equator and the higher incidence of skin cancer was the cause for having your pool screened in. One thing I noticed was that quite a few people that have homes with pools had no fence and maybe that was why but then I have seen others that have fences completely around there yards and still have the screens. So.... there must be a real reason for it and I was hoping that one of you Florida residents could answer this burning question for me.
