I keep trying to post this message, and it keeps telling me i already did, but i cant find it!
HI,
If you remember my story, I got a bunch of stuff stolen at the Contemporary a few weeks ago. Well i got my premium annual passes re issued at Magic kingdom after they were stolen. Well I just went to put them away, and guess what instead of expiring 10/27/06, like they are supposed to. They expire 05/25/06,(a year from when i ordered them)! I turned them in on 10/27/05! I was so relieved to get them replaced i never checked! Now i have been on the phone all morning and no one can help! So not only did i get all my stuff stolen, now my passes expire before out Oct 2006 trip! Any one have any ideas how to fix this!
PLEASE HELP!

Your AP is good from one year from when you got them, not when you first used them. If you ordered and got them in 05/05, they do expire in 05/06 -not when you first used them in 11/05. I think I understood your post :confused3 Disney is pretty good at keeping track of when you get your AP's, if you gave them the correct name

They way i understood it, and what it says on my slip that came with the voucher, was once i turned in the voucher, they were good from 1 year from that date! I ordered the VOUCHERS on 5/25/05, but did not turn them into annual passes until 10/27/05. Making them good until 10/27/06, correct? This is the was it has always been before, have they changed something recently??

Your time starts from when it was turned into the AP not when the voucher was purchased.

the clock starts ticking as soon as the AP is 'activated' not when it is purchased. Now, if you actually buy an AP, that's a different story. I have an AP voucher, I bought it last summer (June or July), I will activate it on Nov 29 and it will expire on 11/30/06.

I am sure if you take your Voucher receipt and your "new AP" to guest Servces next time you are there, they can see it was a voucher, look up your first date of reentry and reissue your pass with the correct exp. date.

Sorry, I know this is insult on top of injury

It's a bug on the DIS that sometimes if you make your subject line long, you get this problem where it says you've already posted. The solution is to make a very short subject line, then it will post, and then you can go in and edit your subject line to say whatever you want. Hope this helps you in the future.
