Why can't I find Peeps anywhere?!?

I can't find Peeps anywhere! I looked in 6 stores in NJ with no luck and now we are in FL I have checked 3 stores with no luck. Am I the only one having issues finding Peeps?

My sister had trouble too, but our stores are slowly fazing out Halloween candy to make room for the Christmas stuff that will be taking its place.

Thats where ours always ended up..till someone suggesting dipping them in melted chocolate and letting them harden. They were actually edible that way, lol!

They have ghosts, pumpkins and cats for Halloween. Christmas is trees and snowmen!

I've seen Halloween Peeps at Wal-Mart, Target, Meijer and the Dollar Store. I looked, longingly, each time I've seen them as I love them. But I know I shouldn't have them so I have been good and haven't bought any.

They'll be having Christmas Peeps out soon.

We did too, same party! Problem is they aren't safe for peanut allergies (which my son has) but the regular ones are. I'm trying to find them for him.

I too have been in hot pursuit of Boo Peeps, only not for the kids, for a horse. The stables where my kids ride and work has a giant Percheron and he is crazy about Peeps. It's so fun to watch him eat them and lick his giant lips! We only give him 2 a week so it's a real treat.

I had to go to 3 different places to even find 1 pack. I was lucky to grab the LAST pack at the CVS on Friday. So much for my idea of stocking up on them for the oversize "pony" after Halloween when they are marked down.

They were bought up by people preparing for Sandy's landfall. Those that don't drink need candy. Is there anything that has more sugar in it than those peep things?

I don't know where in Jersey you are, but I just saw ghost Peeps at the CVS in Clifton about two hours ago
