Why can 't I modify my room forward??

I have 2 resort studios at my home resort BWV. I walked for 2 weeks because I could get them earlier. Today the 27 of April, 2025 I modified the first room to March 27th-Martch 30th, 2026 ( 3 nights) with no problems. I then tried to modify the second room for the same dates in 2026 but only my start date of the 27th is available because I already have that date and the 28th (a Saturday) is not available. Then the 29th and 30th are available. Why does this happen. This can ruin my trip.
Both reservations have diffferent guests.
 
Sounds like an availability problem and someone else is likely walking. It will likely open up again shortly.
 
it doesn't matter if someone else is walking. I already have the 27th so that means the 28 and 29 should be open to continue my reservation.
 
It could be a room being taken out for maintenance on 28th. Although seems unlikely. This happened to a few people recently (including me) where walks were interrupted for BWV studios. Had to start again.
 

How can you lose a reservation at your home resort when walking if you still have the 1 day. I called MS and there are no rooms out of service so somehow I lost the next night.

When can I modify my 2026 ressie. I have modified already today from 4/30/25 for 3/30/2026 to 4/2/2026. Because there is (no April31 2025) and my low points when should I move forward 1 or 2 days.

Tomorrow May 1st you can book 4/1/26 - 4/8/26(up to)

Not saying that Disney aren’t keeping up here - it’s a wealth of information but it’s unlikely they do.

However the most likely reason(s) is that a room was either taken out of inventory for maintenance or for another reason.

The other reason which probably is more likely, cause how do you know 11 month in advance that you will need 1 room, is that a member had problems booking and called MS. MS then put a hold on the room so the member can get it later on. MS or actually their support team can take any room at any date (at least future dates not booked) and hold it. I know because I did it.

This was done right after the last system update, you would see that the 11 month booking date being available maybe also a few days after but then there were holes where 2-3 days where started to be missing.
