Why call CRO or WDW for Ressies?

I do not understand. Why do folks not use Dreams for reservations? I know this is like asking for lightning to strike or something like that but it just seems obvious that you should support folks who help to provide a service to you. I would assume that I will get the same price from Dreams as from Disney. It's not like Disney can start undercutting the other agents. Yet the boards are full of folks calling WDW or CRO for this reservation or that one. So what am I missing?

That is not true! You can book CRO room-only through dreams. They can also book Disney club rates/policies.

I think people like to have control. They feel that a travel agent, even one like Dreams, might not be able to get them the best rate.

I think they're great & we should all give them a chance!

I stand corrected. You are right they can book CRO room-only rates. I forgot that part but you can't get the dreams rebates when doing this.

I use Dreams for all my cruise ressies and always give them a shot. Their customer service is great!.

I use Dreams Unlimited when booking offsite hotels... we used them for this March when we will be staying at HoJo Maingate East.

I like to have more charge over my ressies when staying onsite though. If I need to make changes, I like to do it myself rather than go through the intermediary. Plus, I LIKE talking to the CM's at CRO!

I do like that with Dreams that you can book PS online!

I think Dreams is a great business... but I am stuck in my ways, were WDW resorts go, and am not likely to change.
