It truly was a crazy day! With crazy weather! It's supposed to sleet and snow here in October!

Now I'm going to share my theory on rude people. Some people are just rude cause their having a bad day etc. But you don't need to share your bad day with others! Some people are jus awful, rude, mean people! Good, nice, happy people aren't supposed to understand them because if the did they would be like them!

I'm off to hit the couch again. I've had a little bit of cold for a few days. Lat night I started feeling really terrible. I went to the doctor earlier, turns out I have bronchitis!

Oh, no!! Bronchitis is no fun!! Lydia gets that often and she is pretty miserable. It's so hard when you feel like your breathing gets all laboured.

Goodness! I'm tired (and a wee bit aggravated at the rude lady) just from reading about your day on Wed. I'm so glad it turned out good in the end with your sweet Brownies.

Oh, no!! Bronchitis is no fun!! Lydia gets that often and she is pretty miserable. It's so hard when you feel like your breathing gets all laboured.

I used to get bronchitis every December when I was a kid. But I remember coughing terribly. I'm hardly coughing at all. I feel like an elephant is standing on my chest! The dr gave me a nebulizer (sp?) treatment in the office and an inhaler which is helping! I HATE being sick! I'm the Mommy I'm supposed to take care of everyone, not the other way around. Not to mention they aren't so good at it! My house looked like a bomb went off before! I was so aggravated I got up and cleaned up, DH yelled at me not to worry about. You could walk across the living room!

Goodness! I'm tired (and a wee bit aggravated at the rude lady) just from reading about your day on Wed. I'm so glad it turned out good in the end with your sweet Brownies.

Thanks for the soup!! It's just what I needed! I told DH I wanted something warm and yummy for dinner tonight!!

Trick or treating was a lot of fun! We've only ever gone on our street but this year we did the next street too. There were a lot more people home! We live in a summer community so this time of year most people have cleared out and either only come out of the weekend or won't be back until May or June. The kiddos buckets were literally overflowing and they were so happy!

So, I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself Trying to use a little Disney magic to cheer myself up, reading PTR's, TR's, looking at Picture threads etc, etc and I figured I give you guys a little photo update because I'm moving along playing withe the new camera.

First, a rare and beautiful, natural moment. I can't believe how lucky I was to witness it and even luckier to capture it forever in digital image

DD & DS sitting together nicely! No fighting, no yelling, no violence! (really, they are good kids but they have their moments) DD is reading to DS!

Next, I was busy getting the other day cleaning, organizing and DH kept getting in the way, He'd move and still be in the way so he went and sat in some boxes I piled by the back door to get rid of.


Then he tired to get out of the box;

DS Ryan is fascinated my the vacumn, broom, etc, etc, here he is being a very good boy and helping mommy clean the other day

Ryan has a tendency to take little catnaps in the morning after he eats breakfast, like the picture of him asleep in the high chair. Well, the other morning he feel asleep like this...

Next my Dollar Tree haul!! Woot, woot!! I actually got a few of the things at the Party City across the highway too!


My 2 favs!! Toe socks for DD and a Talking Yoda for DS!!


And 2 cute hats for the bigger kiddos,

Looks like you got some great things. I was at my dollar store today and couldn't find much but ended up getting a couple pirate stuff at less. Your kids are cute in their costumes. My son was Iron Man and we froze during trick r treating. That was fun.

Waiting for a Disney Visa discount coming out? You’re making me relive my week in August when the rumors were wrong and the GP code came out 4 days later with no Disney Visa discount. Lessons learned. If they have had to come up with all the discounts they’ve come up with so far for the fall, I’m sure they’re going to need one for January. Just keeping checking the resorts thread – as soon as the code is released, it will be there.

Gotta laugh about the binky in the toilet. Lord knows what my boys have thrown down there when they were little. I am glad those days are over. I have a friend who had a toilet that eventually got so clogged she had to call a plumber. After he took apart what he needed he found a set of keys that had been missing for awhile! YUK!

About the rude lady at school- you did the right thing. Believe me- you want those ladies on your side.

Glad to hear the Brownie meeting went well. You’re a better woman than me. Both of my daughters did Brownies and Girl Scouts. The older one went all the way through to her Gold Award and so did her friends.

Your neighborhood sounds interesting. Did it take long to get used to the quiet in the winter time? How far are you from the beach?

Dollar Tree was a lot of fun! They had so much stuff!! It was insane! Sorry you froze on Halloween! We were affraid it would be cold here but it was beautiful! I have memories of my Mom making us wear heavy winter jacket over our costumes when I was a kids because it was so cold

The first thing I'll be doing tomorrow morning is checking the January thread and Mousesavers to see if it came out. I'll do that even before coffee, that's saying a lot!

OMG! I laughed so hard when Ryan flushed!! It was crazy! DS John flushed a whole Thomas the Tank Engine train down the toliet at MIL's once! It didn't clog! I can relate to the story about the keys! I just found my keys again after them being lost for DAYS (luckily for the spare!) I thought for sure Ryan had done something with them! But, really it was DH!

I figured I was much better off being nice as pie to the ladies (I use that term lightly) at the school! I'm there a lot and I don't think getting on someones bad side would be good!

It took me a long time to get used to everything out here in "god's country!" I grew up in northeastern NJ about 20 minutes from NYC. It's so completely different out here!! Summer is crazy! weekend until now are crazy, we have A LOT of pumpkin farms and A LOT of vineyards! In a few weeks things will get a little crazy again until Mid-December because we have quite a few Christmas tree farms. But, it's beautiful and peaceful and sooooo nice!! Really, I think it's a great place to raise a family!

I'm hanging in there! Thanks for asking! If only the elephant would just get off my chest!

He's a funny little one and he knows it!! I can't believe he left the hat/ears thing on!! He freaked when I put it on him, but I took him in the bathroom and showed him what he looked like and he was laughing and laughing! He didn't fuss about it after that!

I reallllllllly hope that the holidays will make the trip come faster! Like I said before, I'm a very patient person. But, not when it comes to a trip to WDW!!

It must be another boy thing, Lydia was terrified of it! Dh keeps saying we should foster his love for the vaccume so he'll like it when he's old enough to actually vaccume (good luck on that one!).

Your dollar store stuff looks awesome! I wish they had Dollar Tree here, but alas... I did find them some cute pajamas on sale at the Disney Store the other day, though, and I'm planning on giving it to them to use on the trip.

I'll give you the advice my mom always gave me when I was sick (or heartbroken or stressed or anything, really ): sit down and have a nice cup of tea. It might make you feel better. I know there's usually no time for us mom's to sit down, but maybe you have some time after the kids are in bed. A humidifier might help too with the elephant problem. I feel a ton better today!! Luckily with the 2 older kiddos in school full time I can get some down time when their at school and Ryan is napping! Of course, then the house suffers! Yesterday Dorothy and Johnny went to my MIL's in the afternoon to play, cause our house is boring or something and I took a nice, long nap!!

I don't know what it is with Ryan and the vacumn! Dh says I should plug it in and turn it on! LOL! I don't think so! Maybe Ryan ans Tobias are long distance twins or something!! I'm going to get him a play vac for Christmas. DD had a little red dirt devil when she was little!

Dollar tree was a lot of fun. But's its really far! So it's not a place I'll go often, only when I'm up that way. I forgot to add the few things I got for them from ebay and the disney store! I got 2 coloring books, 2 autograph books, a Camp Rock Pin for DD, and sunglasses! I get a pin for DS! Mickey is very, very generous!! I may have gone a bit overboard!!

I'm glad you found some good buys at the Dollar Store we are lucky here where I live,we have 2 Family Dollar Stores,2 Dollar General Stores and 1 store called Deals and 1 sore called All for One(everything $1.00 or under).
That's not counting the local Big Lots Stores. I didn't realise how much Disney stuff they all carry till I started looking for it.
I found a really good buy today as I was heading home I decided to stop at our local Walgreens store and found in the Halloween Isle these tubes that held ( 3-8" glow stick....2 6" glow sticks...1-3"glow stick with spring pendent and necklace cord...and 1 set of clip on earrings w/plastic connectors) inside each tube and they were marked down 75% final cost was only .50 each I bought 6 of them to and out to the little kiddies when we go in Dec.

Your children were adorable I just fell in love with Yoda.
And hubby stuck in the box and you just happened to have the camera handy.

We used to have 2 dollar stores, neither one worth going to and both really yucky! We don't even have big lots!! WAAAAAYYYYY out here in "god's country" we don't have all that much. We have a lot more then we did 11 years ago when I moved out here. BAck then we didn't even have Walmart or Target. Walmart came about 6 years ago and Target about 4 or 5. I got glow necklaces and bracelets to give to kiddos at the parade etc too! Although DD and DS got into them!

I Yoda was sooo cute and I still can't believe he kept the ears on!!

When DH sat in the box I said to him "that's great smarty pants (I call him that a lot because his overwhelm intelligence, , always amazes me) but now you have to get out!" When he started to do it I said "WAIT!" I knew it was goingto be a kodak moment!!!

OMG, OMG, OMG!​

The much anticipated and long await deal for the 1st half of 2009 came out today!!

Now you must understand I was hoping to save a few $$ with a January Disney Visa offer like they have had the last few years.

I've been lurking, occasionally posting, on the January code watch thread.

Yesterday morning a rumor hit that something big, huge, ginormous was coming today!!

About the middle of the day the rumor started going that it was going to be stay 4 nights get 3 free. Today a $200 gift card was added to the rumor!! Then it was that the deal was to be released at 5pm today.

I can't even begin to tell you in words how excited I am here!!

The rumors were all true!!!

So our reservation for January has been changed!

We're checking into WL, courtyard view bunkbed room (not CL but who cares) on the 3rd rooms only. On the 4th our package starts! We're now staying until the 11th to take advantage of the 3 days free. That's 9 days!! We're staying an extra 2 1/2 days!

Here's the kicker! hold onto your pants! Were being credited back over $1200! Not to mention the $200 gift card that we can use for souvenirs etc and the $150 I'm going to save on airfare switching our flight home from Friday to Sunday!

We're saving $1550 and staying 2 1/2 extra days!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear to you, I felt like I'm going to have some sort of excitement attack since about 5 pm tonight!!! My travel agent is WONDERFUL and I think is as excited as I am!

I had another update for today but I'm way to excitedly freaking out right now!
