WHOSE Luckier than me?! The January TR!&March PTR!**LINK TO NEW TR IS UP!!**

Great updates!

Where did you get the fabric (the red with the black Mickey heads)? DS8 has the fleece of that print and I would love to make him a robe out of it but can't find it. Our Walmart stopped selling fabric. :sad1:

Great job on the pants. You're motivating me to get back into sewing.

It's never too early to pack. I actually threw some things in our suitcases for our cruise NEXT November. I figured that was the best place for when I forget where I put the stuff. It'll be in the suitcases when I open them up. :rotfl:

What a great day you all had as a family. Better than a birthday party IMO. Birthday parties often get out of hand - inviting everyone you know, the goodie bags.

Your itinerary sounds awesome! Can I come?

I got the fabric on Ebay. It wasn't a lot. Maybe $5 for a yard. Not much more then in Walmart or Joanns and I hadn't seen anything like it! I've actually had really god luck buying fabric from ebay!! My mom thought I was crazy buying fabric online. She's a quilter so she wants to really make sure the colors are true to what's shown!! I just got 2 yards of absolutely goreous red fabric with white polka dots! It's such good quality!! I'm going to make DD a tee shirt dress out of it!

I'm really resisting the urge to put stuff in the suitcase! Don't get me wrong, I have a plastic bin of stff put aside. The things I've made, a few shorts and capris and tolietries I bought. I tempted to start seperating days of clothes. That's how I pack. I put everything for each day together. Then I take it out together and tuck it in the draws. In the past I've even put each day in a ziploc together, I may do that again this trip.Yes, I'm completely OCD!! ;)

We had a blast at Thomas and it was so nice not to have to worry about party plans!! DD's last birthday was in WDW during our trip in March so I didn't have a party then either. We did have big shindig for Ryan's 1st in May but it was family, not 7000 kids!

Of course you can come! Our suitcases are big enough for a person so we'll just wheel you on in!!

54 more days!!!

I've never bought fabric off ebay. Maybe, I should try selling some - I could almost open a fabric store downstairs. I have way too much. I was a quilter too - just haven't quilted in a long time.

I pack the way you do too- 1 days outfits including socks and underwear all together. Makes it very easy to get dressed in the morning.

I hope you can take advantage of the deal! Anything that anyone can save is such a bonus!! But, remember YOUR GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!! All is good!

To get your designs onto the tees you need to get either light iron on transfers or dark iron on transfers. I really prefer the light ones, they end up feeling like a part of the tee, the dark on's are thicker. But, if your going to use a dark colored tee you'll need the dark transfers. If that make sense. For white tees or light gray, pastles etc you can use the light transfers.

You can get the transfers at Staples, Office Max etc. Avery brand seems to be the best.

Depending on dark or light depends on how your going to print the design. Their are pretty good directions in the packages. If your using light you'll need to print the image flipped so it appears backwards to you when it prints. There are different ways to do it depending on what computer program your using. If your using dark you'll print normally.

You'll need to trim as much of the extra off as possible.

A few tips, DON'T USE STEAM!! The directions say no steam but I forgot at one point and the design got all yucky! DON'T USE THE IRONING BOARD! The directions also say that but I thought why?! you don't get enough pressure on the design to make it stick good. Put a pillow case on a table or counter to protect it.

I hope that helps and I hope I didn't totally confuse you!!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! :goodvibes I figure as long as I follow the directions on the package I should be ok, I'll run to Staples tomorrow and pick them up! Thanks for the tips on it too b/c I'm sure I would have not read the directions properly like I usually do with everything  :thumbsup2

Sounds like your day with Thomas was really good too. It looks like so much fun for the kids.:cutie:

I am glad to hear you guys had a great time. We went 2 years ago when DS was so into Thomas. It was a very fun time. I just like your son's pants.

Hi,
We have been to see Thomas too, but it has been many, many years.
He comes to the strailsburg railroad near us. Was it not so neat? You can tell your kids loved it.

You should definitely sell some if you have some you don't need! makes for some good Disney money!

I bought the ziploc bags today! It's so much easier to be able to pull a whole days worth of clothes out and thrown them on. Especially with 3 kids! I wonder was security thinks when they look in my luggage and see everything all packed in ziploc bags!!

The kids love it. Well, DD is to the point now where she thinks it's kind of "lame" :confused3 But, she really did have good time, even if she wouldn't admit it ;)

I loved the fabric also ...I didn't know e-bay sold fabris either.
I went and checked it out it was awesome some of the fabric they have on there. Especailly the vintage fabric's.

After looking at the pictures you posted it is the same Thomas Train the J/K+8.(only watched it because the girls at the nursing home watch it).. I don't watch much t.v. either it is funny how much we have in common I will sit on the couch while my DH watches any and all sports and I will read or post.I am quite happy to sit and snuggle next to him while he watches t.v.:lovestruc

They really do have great fabric! I have to be careful with e-bay though, I get into this I HAVE TO WIN, thing! I'm not saving anything anymore!!

We do have a lot in common! DH watches sports in him "lucky seat" at the end of the couch and sit next to him leaning on him with my feet up. Only problem is when he gets excited and yells!

They probably think.....it's another DISSER! :rotfl:

Your right!!! The funny thing as I wrote about packing each days clothes together in a ziploc bag I thought, "OMG,I'm really completely OCD!" :rotfl2:

I'll be back later with a little update, including pics of DS birthday!!

We will be in disney soon!!!!!!!!! I bought gum today, for our trip.:cool1: LOL

My little boy turned 6!! I can't believe it!! My Veteran's Day baby!

He had a great birthday! He got lots and lots of good stuff! MIL and FIL got him a GIANT Millenum Fallcon! No joke, the thing is 3 feet by 2 1/2 feet. DS can't even pick it up by himself!! My parent sent him a very, very cool Indiana Jones hat! They have more stuff for him when we go to PA for Thanksgiving, DISNEY DOLLARS!! SIL and her DH gave him this very cool remore control Flying Dutchman from POTC!! We gave him a DS lite and 2 games. Indy and Star Wars of course. Well, we actually gave him 1 game for the time being. See I bought the Star War game at WallyWorld (using Vickey's term here!! LOL) when the DS was on sale and some how ended up with a Wii game. Luckily for DD helping me wrap the presents. She got all uppied and said "YOU GOT HIM A Wii!" I said "NO! what are you talking about" Then she did the duh mommy thing!!

Anyway, here are 2 pictures!!

DS and his SpongeBob ice cream cake! I couldn't get Star Wars :(

All of us! But, I think you figured that out! I LOVE this picture!! Thanks FIL for taking it!! He did a great job and I even let him use my baby!! My new camera!!

I made some new tee designs today for the trip! I figured with the added days I needed more tees!!

AK for the boys!

AK for DD!

I did a design for the day we leave too but I want to change it a little, then I'll post it!

Tomorrow is a big day!! I'll post all about that tomorrow!!

Thank you so much!! If you could do a cover for a trip binder for me I would really love that. We're staying at ASMo April 19-26 and our names our Kristen and Chris. (I know you probably read that on my PTR but just in case haha)

Also I want to have a princess shirt for myself with my name on it. I'm not picky with exactly how it is but I would like it to say my name on it too. Thats all I can think of right now so if you could do those I'd appreciate it so much!! :cool1: Thanks in advance! :goodvibes
