Who's Turn Is It To Throw Up Today? A Feb 2014 Wedding TR - New TR link 10/27!!

Continued from Previous Post

Bob will talk to anyone as you can see in this picture where he is deep in conversation with the CM that lead us over to Sea Breeze Point. You can also see Pat hiding her “ugly” purse in her sweater since she never found one the day before. I never did see the purse to find out want was “wrong” with it.

Here we all are trying to figure out who would be sitting where. You can see poor Jocelyn just sitting there looking miserable.

I couldn’t stop taking pictures across the water, it was just so beautiful that day.

They had water set out for anyone interested.

I love the long walkways on either side of the Gazebo. This is where the Bridesmaids ended up walking from as you’ll see in the next update.

Jim and I had my Mom take some pictures but these turned out awful. Between my hair looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket (it was a bit windy) and Jim’s squinty look (Mom made him take of his sunglasses and he has extremely sensitive eyes) they are pretty bad. But for sake of the report, I’ll post them anyway.

Yep, four pictures and none of them are the best. Bob and Pat’s pictures turned out better.

Yay Magic Bands! Your next trip is so close! I love how you decorated your AP band.

I'm glad you guys had a wonderful time seeing the Lion King! Great merchandise purchases! Your dogs are too cute :)

The SImpsons lego set came out AWESOME! Kudos to Jim!

Great Boardwalk pics!

Ugh that really stinks that Jocelyn was so sick :(

Your dress is beautiful!

:yay::yay::yay: for Magic Bands.

Jim did awesome on the Simpson set.

I'm sorry that Jocelyn was still feeling really bad. :(

Love your dress...you look great in it.

The scenery is beautiful at the Boardwalk.

The Lion King on broadway is such a fantastic show! I cried watching it lol

I love that Simpson's lego house, how neat!

What a gorgeous day for a wedding! Your pictures look really great. It is so hard to smile for a photo with no sunglasses on in that Florida sun though!

God I feel so ripped off being a passholder in Canada since Disney refuses to ship the bands outside the States. Granted it's not a huge deal since I already have one, but it still hurts, lol.

Haha, yeah I'd say there was something weird there with a 2X shirt. That doesn't sound right at all.

BAHAHAHAHA, Ugly chair gone away!!! Perhaps they do that for weddings.

First off, love the magic band with the sticker!! And how wonderful to be an AP holder! Dan and I had APs just once. It was great!

Boy! Jim built that Lego house quickly. I love that he can't wait to get to DTD to get another set. Wonder what it will be this time??

I'm loving all the pictures of the Boardwalk. Poor Jocelyn does look miserable. I can sure relate! It's funny because Dan and I rode the boat from Epcot over to the Boardwalk on Sunday and I was telling him all about the wedding and pointing out the Dance Hall to him like I really knew you and your family. He just sort of laughs and goes along with me.

I know you're super busy, so thanks for taking the time to update. Oh, and how fun to see the Lion King. I would love to go to the theater more often. Your dogs are such little cuties!! Love the photo bomb!

I hope things ease up for you soon. Dan is going through something similar right now with work and it's really cutting into our family time. He sees a light at the end of the tunnel, though, so I hope you see the same. Thanks again for the great update!

ETA: Oh, I forgot to mention how absolutely adorable you are in your dress! I loved the pic you posted of it way back when you got it, but it looks spectacular on! You guys are a cute couple, even with the wind-blown hair and squinty eyes!

YAY for the Magic Band and AP decoration.

I love the Lion King musical. Fortunately, it's returning to Melbourne next year. We saw it when it last played about 8 years ago and I want to take DS to see it this time round.

Despite the windswept hair, you and Jim look fantastic. That dress is just perfect!

And what a great Lego set-up!!!

Holy cow i wonder how long it will take zack to build that house! it's enormous!!! :hyper: HA! that should keep him busy for a WHILE...

so happy you were able to see the Lion King! :woohoo: Maybe next time it flies into Chicago i will take the kiddies. love your tee and the snow globe! isn't it fun to have a little Disney come to your town?!?! I just love that!!!

oh no First yack of the trip? Hope Jocelyn feels better. and doesn't pass out like you mentioned!!! :scared1: the water cooler! what a riot!

You look great in the dress! Jim looks great too.. too bad the sun-wind was playing havoc on you!!!

Cannot wait to read the rest!!!

OH! and i love the Pluto sticker!!! So they work well??? I guess i will be getting them! every time i look there are more and more sytles to choose from.

Up Next: Don’t Pass Out Now, the Weddings About to Start!

You've got a week to finish the wedding! We leave one week from today for ours. I absolutely love the update from a guest perspective and may already be a little teary because I'm so excited to read more!

I love your dress and can't wait to see more pictures of the wedding. My daughter got married last October. She walked down the aisle to the Beauty and the Beast song "Tale As Old As Time" (not sure if that's the right name) to surprise her husband and unbeknownst to her he had picked out the same song for their first dance. I knew what both had picked out and it was so hard for me to keep it a secret.

You must be very excited Congratulations to you :goodvibes

Ah your DD and DSIL truly sound like they are made for one another

Have been reading along Ariana You looked fantastic in that dress Nice with the Pluto inspired personal touch on the MB I discovered something else the Croc jibbitz ( I think that's what they're called ) fit in the MB holes too I got a few Pluto ones on eBay awhile back but forgot to tell you

Have a blessed Easter weekend all

Well, I was only about a month behind.....:rolleyes1

but, how exciting to come get caught up and see that you are on the WEDDING DAY!!!!! Yay :yay:

I love that dress! (maybe Bob and Pat had a good pic because they got to keep their sunglasses on ;) )

WOW!!! Holy legos! I have not started that with the girls yet!! They make enough mess with the Barbie stuff!!! But it sure looks like fun, I used to LOVE legos......

Yay Magic Bands! Your next trip is so close! I love how you decorated your AP band.

Thanks! You should check out the web site where I got the sticker, they have a ton of choices!

I'm glad you guys had a wonderful time seeing the Lion King! Great merchandise purchases! Your dogs are too cute :)

It was a wonderful time. I think they are cute too!

The SImpsons lego set came out AWESOME! Kudos to Jim!

He was pretty proud of that!

Great Boardwalk pics!

Ugh that really stinks that Jocelyn was so sick :(

I felt so bad for her. She was just miserable and so upset that day.

Your dress is beautiful!

Thanks, I wore it this weekend again to the Lion King.

:yay::yay::yay: for Magic Bands.

I get so excited when those packages come!

Jim did awesome on the Simpson set.

He was pretty proud of himself when he finished.

I'm sorry that Jocelyn was still feeling really bad. :(

I felt so bad for her and she was just so upset because she was looking forward to the wedding.

Love your dress...you look great in it.

Thanks!

The scenery is beautiful at the Boardwalk.

It was the perfect setting for the wedding.

The Lion King on broadway is such a fantastic show! I cried watching it lol

There were a few times I came close and I am not a cryer at all!

I love that Simpson's lego house, how neat!

It is a very well put together set, lots of cool details.

What a gorgeous day for a wedding! Your pictures look really great. It is so hard to smile for a photo with no sunglasses on in that Florida sun though!

It was the perfect day. My Mom is weird about sunglasses in pictures and always makes us take them off. We probably should have left them on!

God I feel so ripped off being a passholder in Canada since Disney refuses to ship the bands outside the States. Granted it's not a huge deal since I already have one, but it still hurts, lol.

That really does stink that you can't get one. I now have four which is kind of a waste.

Haha, yeah I'd say there was something weird there with a 2X shirt. That doesn't sound right at all.

I keep thinking that maybe the shirt was a junior size?

BAHAHAHAHA, Ugly chair gone away!!! Perhaps they do that for weddings.

I don't know but I was disappointed!

First off, love the magic band with the sticker!! And how wonderful to be an AP holder! Dan and I had APs just once. It was great!

I don't know if I will renew or not. This might be a one time thing for me too.

Boy! Jim built that Lego house quickly. I love that he can't wait to get to DTD to get another set. Wonder what it will be this time??

I am very interested to see what he picks this time!

I'm loving all the pictures of the Boardwalk. Poor Jocelyn does look miserable. I can sure relate! LOL, I do that all the time, just start talking about my DIS friends like everyone around me should know who the are.

I know you're super busy, so thanks for taking the time to update. Oh, and how fun to see the Lion King. I would love to go to the theater more often. Your dogs are such little cuties!! Love the photo bomb!

Jim actually said he wants to go more often. I'm definitely thinking about Newsies when it comes next year. We talked about the Little Mermaid which will be here in July but unfortunately I will be out of town visiting family.

I hope things ease up for you soon. Dan is going through something similar right now with work and it's really cutting into our family time. He sees a light at the end of the tunnel, though, so I hope you see the same. Thanks again for the great update!

I think if I can make it through the end of May, things will finally slow down. I'm so far behind on everyone elses TRs and PTRs, I feel really bad.

ETA: Oh, I forgot to mention how absolutely adorable you are in your dress! I loved the pic you posted of it way back when you got it, but it looks spectacular on! You guys are a cute couple, even with the wind-blown hair and squinty eyes!

I think your DS will love it! We saw a lot of kids there.

Despite the windswept hair, you and Jim look fantastic. That dress is just perfect!

Thanks!

And what a great Lego set-up!!!

It is very nice, lots of detail.

Holy cow i wonder how long it will take zack to build that house! it's enormous!!! :hyper: HA! that should keep him busy for a WHILE...

It is huge! I bet it will keep him very occupied.

so happy you were able to see the Lion King! :woohoo: Maybe next time it flies into Chicago i will take the kiddies. love your tee and the snow globe! isn't it fun to have a little Disney come to your town?!?! I just love that!!!

Your kids would LOVE it! Definitely take them if you can.

oh no First yack of the trip? Hope Jocelyn feels better. and doesn't pass out like you mentioned!!! :scared1: the water cooler! what a riot!

Yep, first yack of the trip, poor thing was miserable.

You look great in the dress! Jim looks great too.. too bad the sun-wind was playing havoc on you!!!

Thanks, I wish they would have turned out better.

Cannot wait to read the rest!!!

OH! and i love the Pluto sticker!!! So they work well??? I guess i will be getting them! every time i look there are more and more sytles to choose from.

It seems to work pretty well, I'll let you know how it holds up when I go in two weeks. It did take me forever to get it on straight but that's probably just me, I'm horrible with that kind of stuff. Did you see the Star Wars ones? I thought for sure Jim would want a Boba Fet one but he said no.

You've got a week to finish the wedding! We leave one week from today for ours. I absolutely love the update from a guest perspective and may already be a little teary because I'm so excited to read more!

I'm trying but work is getting in the way! Plus I've got over 200 pictures from it so it's going to take a few updates.

What a beautiful story, thanks for sharing!

Hi Ruthie! Glad to see you here. I may have to see about getting some of those Croc Jibbitz. Do they stay in better than the ones Disney made? I've heard about people losing those ones quite often.

Have a blessed Easter weekend all

You too!

Well, I was only about a month behind.....:rolleyes1

No worries, I'm way behind on everyone elses threads right now.

but, how exciting to come get caught up and see that you are on the WEDDING DAY!!!!! Yay :yay:

Yep, wedding day is here!

I love that dress! (maybe Bob and Pat had a good pic because they got to keep their sunglasses on ;) )

Probably!

You do know they have Disney Princess Lego sets, right?

It wasn’t too long before I noticed that the wedding party was starting to gather around.

Down the Boardwalk a little, the Bridesmaids and the Bride where hanging out.

That picture of Morgan just cracks me up but it is so typical of her. She is not really a girly girl, more of a tomboy, so seeing her slouched on a bench before her wedding was pretty funny.

It was right about this time that Jocelyn felt like she was going to pass out. Luckily my Mom came to the rescue. She had some kind of candy in her purse that her doctor had told her to have in case she got lightheaded with one of her dizzy spells. I’m not sure what it was but it kind of looked like a gigantic sweet tart. That helped her a bit but John and Jocelyn decided they needed to head out and find an Urgent Care facility for Jocelyn. I told John to go to the concierge desk at the Boardwalk and they would be able to direct him somewhere.

Right after they left, the wedding started. Steve’s parents:

My Aunt Esther, Cousin Jordan and Morgan’s daughter Kennedy.

Unfortunately some of the pictures turned out dark since I was shooting into the sunlight there. Kennedy had just woken up from a nap and was not in the best mood.

Steve and his two groomsman. One was his brother and the other a friend.

Her come the bridesmaids. Sydney was first, she was co-maid of honor with Erin, Morgan’s best friend. If you remember, Erin came to Disney with us in 2010.

Here comes Erin:

Another friend of Morgan’s, Katie:

And finally, Jordan’s wife and Morgan’s Sister in Law, Abby:

Jacob and Jordyn, Steve’s two kids from his first marriage walked in next but I was not fast enough with the picture.

And then it was time for the bride, doesn’t she look gorgeous?

I loved the back of her dress.

Yep, I was a bit obsessed with the train on her dress.

The ceremony was fairly short, poor Steve was nervous and keep stumbling over his vows.

Luckily he just laughed and tried again.

I had a good time watching little Jordyn, she was so happy.

Kennedy on the other hand was still grumpy and hung out with her grandpa.

After Morgan and Steve exchanged vows, the pastor asked Jacob, Jordyn and Kennedy to come up. Kennedy didn’t want to have anything to do with this.

She proceed to lay on the ground and cry. But what can you do, she’s only 3.

Once they got Kennedy calmed down, the pastor had the family stand in a circle and he asked both Jacob and Jordyn if they would accept Morgan into their family. It was a very nice addition to the wedding since a family was being created along with the marriage.

Kennedy went back to her grandparents and then the pastor pronounced Steve and Morgan husband and wife.

Then Jacob and Jordyn came up for a group hug.

Time to head out to the reception!

Since there were four bridesmaids and only two groomsman, each groomsman got two girls.

I have a hard time not photographing Sadie, she is just too cute. I’m not sure how Bob ended up with her during the ceremony.

We did some pictures at the Gazebo, one included the whole group, wedding party and guests. I didn’t want to get in the professionals way so I didn’t take any pictures at that time. I have yet to see any of the professional pictures from the wedding.

Then another CM lead us out and around to the Atlantic Dance Hall for the reception.

Where do you get the Passholder slider for the MB's? I got the MB's, but no slider.

The bride's dress is stunning. I can understand why you kept taking pictures of the train...it truly is stunning.

The bridesmaid dresses are beautiful too.

I'm sorry that Jocelyn had to end up going to the Urgent Care.

I like how they included the kids in the ceremony...that is awesome. :thumbsup2

What a gorgeous dress the bride had...the picture of her " hanging out" on the bench pre-ceremony cracked me up ( reminded me of ME :rotfl2: ) Walking down the aisle though with her Dad fighting back the emotion in the 3rd picture really touched me.....almost put me over the edge

We did something similar with the girls when Fred and I got married DDs were 10 & 12 and they were bridesmaids for us So it all came flooding back with what your family did ....now neither of mine had a meltdown like that cutie 3 yr old but there was the occasional eyeroll...caught on film forever ..by the oldest who started to think the photographer would never stop  ( thanks for the memories ! )

Mother of the Groom I really liked her dress and also the colors they picked for the bridesmaids & the bouquet I like darker colors for the attendants, never liked the foo-foo pastels My DDs & Matron of Honor wore Black & White Just feels more formal/ " dressed up" to me

Oh poor Jocelyn I had a feeling she wasn't going to make it through the ceremony that's too bad

Off Topic : You asked if the jibbitz stay in the MB better than the things put out for the MB I have no idea as I never bought any of them I will take a picture and show you when I can

OMG that photo of the bride cracks me up. She could not seem more relaxed.

Haha, so comical to see the bride coming in with random vacationers strolling in the background. So very Disney.

And a child throwing a tantrum... you can't get more Disney than that.

What a lovely and well-dressed wedding party. Loved the bride's dress and train.

I hope Jocelyn got some treatment and felt better soon.
