Beavers5 - is your resort the one that does the sing along with chip and dale? I have always wanted to try that.
Boys don't make any sense sometimes.
Yep, The campfire is the thing my 10yo is most excited about. At the age of 5, he felt he was too mature for meeting the characters. At the age of 10, he can't wait to meet Chip N Dale.Boys don't make any sense sometimes.

The campfire is open to everyone, not just those staying at Fort Wilderness. You should try it out, your little one is at a great age for it.

I bought my boys some starter pins off of ebay as brand new ones in Disney cost so much more. I paid under $2.00 for each of them. And since the idea is to give pins away for some you WANT, I bought Tinkerbell and other girly ones, so they will WANT to GIVE them away. LOLHello October Disney Families!
I just learned about pin trading at Disney. I know my 7yr old DD would think that it's so cool. So I was wondering, should I get her a lanyard and a few starter pins before we go, or should I wait until we get there? Any advice? Thanks!
Amanda
Good morning All! Survived the wedding. The maid of honor dress was a little tight so I think I may need to add working out to my list of things to do to get ready for Disney. Dont need all my shorts being uncomfy on the trip.
MickeyMouseClubhouse - Yes, we planned three character meals this trip. The first for ANY of us so I am excited. We are doing Tusker House breakfast, CRT (I even bought a tiara...I'm so weird) and crystal palace. How about your family?

for CRT! My girls still play with their magic wands and wishing stars from CRT
Hi there! We live in Mt. Olive (right between Springfield and St. Louis). It would be neat if we lived close!Where are you all staying?
I can't wait for MNSSHP on the 6th. It will be the first one for my family. I am going to be Tinkerbell and my boys are going to be lost boys. I hope we turn out cute! My costume should be done this week and I really need to start on the boys.
Take care guys. It's time to get ready for two Labor Day parties (full of good food of course). I am going to have to add working out to my things to do also peekinglemer!
I've also got to work out how to keep the kids occupied on a 25 hour journey (all of which are either in airports or in the air)
Hey Pixidust princess! I'm from Staunton! My eyes bugged when I saw "mt. olive" on your post!! We'll be there 10/14-17 at POR (1st visit). Anyway...just wanted to say hello to someone from my "stompin' grounds!"![]()

You are just under 3 hours away from me. Not too far. My hubby is going to be working just north of St. Louis starting in about a week or so. We will go stay with him on weekends so then we won't be far from you at all. I just always think it's neat when you find someone on here that is relatively close to where you live so I wanted to say hi.

We have a ressie for Crystal Palce again...early before the park opens...we love getting pix with an empty Main Street! We're also doing Akershush with all the princesses and 1900 Park Fare for dinner. (First time for this one, I've heard the stepsisters are a hoot)
Where are you from? Sydney, Australia
<snip>
How are you filling time until your vacation? I'm glued to the laptop checking DISboards everyday and working out how to get the best value. I'm also trying to work out t-shirts, autograph books, etc....I don't know where to start, there's so much to doI've also got to work out how to keep the kids occupied on a 25 hour journey (all of which are either in airports or in the air)

I sympathize with this! We've taken the kids with us to Australia and NZ a couple of times, and I feel like I pack more for the airplane journeys than for the whole rest of the trip.
