We saw the new Reece Witherspoon, Owen Wilson movie last week, its so forgettable I don't remember the name of it! Saw True Grit yesterday and loved it! Going to see The Kings Speech today, hope I like it!
Saw this one a couple of days ago. One word of warning -- it is rated R for a reason. Absolutely no children and I would be very hesitant to take a teenager. Very dark and adult. Other than that - loved it
I would love to take the kids as one of my daycare moms gave me a $25 gc for Boston Pizza and $25 for the movie theatre. However, there is nothing new playing here for the kids.
man, I'm jealous of all the movies you are seeing!! I want to see all those! Sorry that you aren't in Disney though
DH and I haven't been to the movies since before DD was born. I guess cost wise we can't afford the theater, plus it seems like every time we did go to the theater we had an issue of some sort. Loud people around us, either talking to each other or texting or talking in the phone, theater starting on fire (this really happened!), lights coming on randomly mid movie... so it's ok if we don't go the movies for a while. We'd rather sit in the comfort of our own home, pause the movie if we need to, and not worry about anyone but ourselves
To all you that go to the movies, have fun!!! I want to see True Grit and Black Swan too!!!!! Can't wait til they come out to DVD!!!!!!
We will probably be going on Wednesday to the 1.00 movie LOL We might just buy a new DVD instead though....being a large family we don't go to the regular movies that often. I hope that changes this year though....that used to be one of my favorite things to do with the kids, surprising them with a movie mid week.
No, not us. The movies has priced them self out of my budget. Most movies they show around here are the 3D and a matinee cost us close to 10.00 per person. Not including popcorn and drinks. We use to go to the movies at least twice a month, but not anymore. So we are like the PP who choses to watch it in the convience of home.
I am hoping to get to the movies this weekend, today we have -15 wind chills and ice, so we will wait till tomorrow. I want to see Tourist (yes I know it got bad ratings, but I LOVE JD), Little Fockers, and Black Swan! I got a movie gift card for Christmas and in November my theatre gave out food coupons, so we might splurge on some popcorn and soda!
We got a movie GC for christmas so Dh & I want to try and see something this weekend. Either Tron or True Grit, not sure which.
Next week the local theater has a one time showing of Rear Window, one of my all time fave's!!!! Kinda hoping I can convince DH to go, even though it is on a weeknight, which kinda stinks for both of us work-wise. I wish they had it on the weekend, I'd be there in a flash!
