Who's going September 2008?

Just paid (or rather set my payment for the due date) my Visa bill therefore I feel like it's official now!

Now... so the lack of planning coming forward.
I have not reserved any meals -- I am dead meat aren't I? :scared1:

Where do you all recommend for an anniversary/birthday dinner?

We aren't bringing anything overly formal to wear to save packing room. We always bring stuff that's more formal and don't wear or will just wear once for 2hours and that's it... And with the clothes...comes the shoes and all else... and I need to keep true to my word of packing light for this trip. LOL It's a challenge.

Thoughts?

For our nicer dinner, which we usually do one, I will wear a golf type shirt with a collar and DW wears some nice kahki shorts with a nicer shirt. Footwear involves some comfy tennis shoes or sandals.

45 days for us - just paid our trip off. 9/6 to 9/11 @ PO-Riverside.
2 rooms, me, DH, DD, her DF, DGS(1yo), DS, his DF. Can't wait for a "whole" family trip. The first one in many years. Free dining saved us $678 over the non package cost (discount room/tickets/dining plan). :dance3:

My DW and I are going 09/01 - 09/05. Staying at SS for our 23rd anniversdary! (NO kids, yeah!) :woohoo:

I usually write down on our spreadsheets what time to leave the room to walk to the bus. Is that too detailed? :lmao: :rotfl:

Come on along to the meet!!!!!

Spread sheets are fine.......I used to do all that.....times for certain rides & such...I was driving the family crazy.... I have slowed down a bit in my old age (45 this month!!) Just carry my ADR conf. sheet with me thats about it.....Now, of course I do make a sheet for the entire trip with all conf.#'s on it.....give DW a copy, she just rolls her eyes!!!!

Also, a copy of my will......cremation of course, ashes spread over MK!!!!! :lmao: :lmao:

We did Ohanna for my Wife's 40th Birthday, thats what she wanted....I wouldnt call it romantic.....but we enjoy it there.....They sang to her, large cupcake, (you can order a cake in advance). Eat late and watch the fireworks over MK from the rest. We eat there on Sept 7th!!! Cant wait!! :goodvibes Oh and we do dress up somewhat....I wear a silk Hawaiian shirt, khakis, wife will do the same!!!....We usually go to the registration desk and they will give you a lei to wear!!! (if you ask nice)

We also like Captain Jacks (Seafood) at DTD.......good meal, then stroll all the shops....pick up some souvies......great evening!!!

One thing I would say is START CALLING NOW!!!:thumbsup2

I'd best do that! Dinner and Fireworks sounds good... I just may do that!

Maybe I'll book half the meals and go with the flow for the rest. We aren't overly picky and we find it hard to eat in the heat anyways... We also have weird eating schedules so we can probably find a time that works for us!

I think my hubby will throttle me if I plan every meal lol

Who knows you may have some crazy Canadians having a meal next to you. :dance3:

I originally booked WL Aug 31- Sept 7 but changed to:
WL Aug 31-Sept 4 and POR Sept 4-7. (Birthday)

Could you change this for me please?

I have now become Disney obsessed, I can't even concentrate at work and I think I am driving DH crazy! We have done itinerary's for 2 of our days (my OCD is coming out) but I have had to shuffle two of my ADR's around which is a pain since everything is so booked up. But I have a great TA who is on the ball. I just cancelled my hopper passes, realized wasn't doing any hopping, haha. So I just wait. I would be curious to check out a copy of someone's index cards if they didn't mind. I'm not sure how I am going to condense all of my info and I would love to see your format.

I have a few general questions if anyone could help? Do you need a hopper to go from a park to DTD? Has anyone gotten internet at POP, how does the 24 hours for 10 bucks work? Does it start at a certain time and end at the same time. Or is it by day? Thank you et Merci!

Sooo, when should I start packing :) 46 more days! :yay:

The internet works 24 hours from the time you start to the same time 24 hours from then. As soon as you get on, it explains it to you. We did it later in the evening so we had 2 nights of it last trip.

You could just have your ashes dumped on POTC like someone did at Disneyland. :lmao: Can you imagine being in the boat with someone doing that? I'd freak out!:scared1:  :scared:

And I think I just might come to the meet! Is there a seperate DISmeet thread for it? Or just on here? 4:00 at the pool bar at POR right?:cool2:

Sorry kroy2004, we switched to POP 9/21-9/28. May still try for CBR or CSR but very happy to be booked at POP!
