Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

:earsboy: :earsgirl: princess: princess:

Leaving October 11 to the 22. Staying home at BWV 1-Bedroom Boardwalk view can't wait for a quiet family trip. Just got back from a BWV Grand Villa trip with hubby's family for Easter, it was nice but I can't waite to relax this coming October. (It's a suprise trip for the girl's :flower1: )

We'll be there from 10/7 to 10/12. First full family vacation in a while.
DD is in college, DD and DS (17 yr old twins. In the last couple years I've been there with oldest daughter for cheerleading comps and with twins and DH (and twins alone) twice in the last two years. Just took college-age DD to Disneyland and cruise on her spring break in March.

Going over a short break my DS has at his high school, (DH and DD go to different high schools). Oldest DD will fly down from college (WVU).

Staying at YC and doing MNSSHP for the first time. Should be fun. My kids love DW, probably more now than when they were younger.

:earsgirl:

Count us in...staying at POP Oct. 27-30. Bringing my young niece and nephew also. This is a first for us to go to MNSSHP. Im more excited than the kids I think.

I know that the DIS has dates for this years party, but Disney has still not released the official dates. :confused3 I know that there is no party listed for that Friday night 10-14-05,but do you guys think that maybe when Disney releases them there will possibly be one??? I thought they alwayds did them on Friday nights before Halloween??? :confused3

I would love to spend the day relaxing at the resort and then go to the party that night....Then I will be ready to set sail on the MAGIC!!! :cool1: :sunny:

Guess I will just have to wait and see!

We are going Oct 28-Nov 5, staying offsite, probably CPGV. We are travelling with another family of four, and hoping to attend MNSSHP on Oct 31. Any idea when the tickets go on sale?

Tickest went on sale last year on May 1st.... start keeping your eyes out!

I just don't think I can wait for the tickets to go on sale! I am clamoring for the date at the very least!

OT- I keep thinking of someone with a big pair of eyes in their hands, holding them up to see. :rotfl2:

Does this normally sell out? We are planning on attending on September 30. I wonder if that will be as popular as later on in October?

For those of us traveling in Oct... Don't forget to wear your lime green! That way you will be able to catch up with your fellow DISers!

I saw some lime green wrist bands at Walgreens. I didn't look to see what they said. My DS 7 has several colors now in addition to the yellow live strong band. Maybe an official lime green "LIVE DINSEY" would be in order! I think I will get the paint sample in the shape of mickey. That would be a sure way to identify with fellow DISers! :cool1:

What is the paint sample in the shape of mickey and where do you get it?

Home Depot sells Disney Paints and the paint chips are in the shape of Mickey heads. There is a lime green which they call Alien Green, I think (after the Buzz Lightyear aliens).

My husband and I are gong on our first empty nest Disney trip October 18 - October 26. :love2: We'll be staying at Shades of Green for the first time also. We always stayed at the values or moderates for the Disney theming because of the kids. The Funaii golf classic is also being held during our week and I've heard SOG guests receive complimentary passes!! It should be a great week. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

 Hi baileybelle. Sounds like the SOG will be filled with Mainers that week. My family....all 10 of us will be there from 10/15 to 10/24! You are right about the complimentary golf passes. We were there in 1999 and had a blast. My then 5 year old son got a "thanks buddy" and a pat on the head from Tiger after he wished him luck during the practice round. We were also there to see Payne Stewart play in his last tournament before his death.

My parents just returned from 3 weeks at SOG and say that the renovations are wonderful.

Happy vacation planning!!! :flower:

I think the nights closer to Oct 31 tend to sell out, but the ones in Sept & early October have slower sales.
