TNKBell, if your DD wants a hug from Cinderella, your best bet is to book a character meal at 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Cinderella will be there as well as the mice, Prince Charming, and the Fairy Godmother. Your DD is more likely to get more attention from the characters at 1900 than at CRT.

Here's where we'll be I'm still unsure of where from 9-25-10-02, Orbit One Vacation Villas from 10-02-10-09, Port Orleans Riverside Alligator Bayou 10-09-10-13 for sure, just not sure about that first week??? Looking for the best deal!! Thank you!!

Heres my dilemma, I had planned to go in November but the Dh pointed out that we should go October 3rd thru the 9th because we have no daycare that week.... Makes sense right?

Well im SOOOO concerned about the weather i mean, Hurricane season is before then and if i remember right there was a hurricane the last week of Sept last year?

Someone help me im worried about weather, im going with my DD (3) and Dh and over the weekend my bro, sis in law and there children will meet us....
i want it to be SPECTACULAR because its the first REALLL big family vacation and its my DD and DH first time (will be like my first because i was 31 weeks pregnant when i went for the first time)

Should i go in October or go November 8-13th

The week you mentioned in November maybe pretty busy maybe not the schools in New Jersey are closed thurs and fri the 10th and the 11th so most jersians will be there from the 5th thru the 13th of November! So I'm told some schools are off the entire week! Also this year election day is the 8th and Veterans the 11th so alot of Goverment employees may also be there since they will only need to take 3 vaca days as oopse to 5! Goverment / State are closed for those holidays! Just a thought for you! I had originally intended on going for that week and couldn't get a booking with DVC for the full 8 days since our home resort is Hilton Head and changed to October 29th thru Nov 5th! And got BCV for the 8 days!
Just a thought that may or maynot weigh on you're decision making!

I cant believe how many times in the last week I needed to go to my "happy place" Stress is getting to me!! Is it October yet???

Maybe its a good thing I cant see a countdown clicker showing me how far away October really is... I need a vacation!!

We've been to WDW 2 times in October and a time in September. More rain in September. We were there (in September) last year. The trip ended up being between storms. Every time we have gone in October we have had wonderful weather. It turned a little chilly on us after our cruise, but that was later in the month.

Another thing to consider is that 10/3 is the last day of value season. As long as you start you trip on the 3rd (and don't change resorts) you will pay value season rates for your entire stay. November is regular season until the 27th.

I'm getting sooo excited. I know Oct. is still a long way off but, I've been doing alot of planning this week. We don't like to plan any PS but I've been thinking about where I'd like to eat. I think it would be fun to try to meet some of you. Looks like several of us will be at MNSSHP on the 4th.

We are going Oct 1-9th. Staying at Sheraton Vistana Villas offsite for a week, but staying one night at POR so we can hopefully hear Bob Jackson play the piano in the River Roost. Can't wait for MNSSHP hopefully on Oct 4th, dinner at Le Cellier & tasting lots of wine at the Food & Wine Festival.

My DS(10) and I will be there from Septemer 29 - October 4. We'll be staying at The Beach Club. We're coming down to celebrate my 40th birthday which is on the 1st.

Planning on attending MNSSHP on October 2nd.

Our family is going Oct 8-16. We are going to go to MNSSHP on the 11th. We're staying the first 4 nights at GF and then moving to the Beach Club. I have never done a resort switch and I am really looking forward to it.

Anyone have any thoughts about Columbus day crowds? My kids have off from school on Monday 10/10 and Thursday 10/13, that is why we picked this week. Hope I made the right decision.

Well,I guess it's time I put my family on the Oct list, we will be going Sept.30-Oct 7th. I think we will go to Mnsshp on 2nd. We went last year Oct.16-22 and went to Mnsshp on 10/17 it was very crowded during our trip, but mnsshp was not. We had a great trip and I know we will again, hopefully we won't have any hurricanes here where I live or there in Orlando either and maybe by going earlier we will avoid more crowds. Who knows All I know is we are going
