Hey Seashelly... where in Maine are you from? We're from Biddeford and my husband works at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. That's how we got to stay at SOG. I made my reservation over week ago. They gave me a reservation number, but I still haven't received my confirmation number yet. How long did it take you to get yours? Did you receive it by e-mail or snail mail? Maybe we'll bump into each other.

I currently live just outside of Augusta, but grew up in the Bangor area. My Dad is retired from the Air National Guard...that's my SOG connection. He & Mom made the ressies when they were down there in February, so I can't help with the confirmation info. You will LOVE SOG! It's so beautiful!

Hope to bump into you...we are a group of 10(my folks, my DH, 16yo DD, 11yo son, my sister, my BIL, and my neices - 2 of the cutest princesses you've ever seen). So...if you see a bunch of people running around SOG yelling "Emily Cathryn...you get back here" that will be us....running after my 3yo pistol of a neice!!!! We are so excited!

And to the rest of you October travelers...hope to see you too! How fun it will be to put a face to a name!

Those Travel Channel Disney Shows are WONDERFUL!!

Now my parents are coming... and mom thinks 2 day park hoppers are fine, they will do 2 parks in one day.. OK but mom, we're doing 4 parks in SEVEN days, and still wont see everything (trying to explain to my mom! Yes, we were there in July, and in AK never saw the Dinosaur land!! eesh!!)

Fast Forward to today!! After she sees the Travel Channel "OK< i want to see the fireworks, and I want to see that water show , and that light parade, and I dont want to wait in lines, oh and how much is that Indy Race Car...??"

Mom, let me pull up that info its Nascar type cars, not Indy, yes, its Richard Petty, ok, 8 laps app 2 hours $400... Can you do that for your dad, I'll pay for it! Now about our hotel.. Yes , Mom, MOM... here, let me tell you what, when you come up for the summer, I'll give you a 3 ring binder with pictures and an itinarry!! And does that mean I can upgrade to a Deluxe Resort? Can we see fireworks? (hey MOM, I thought we were going to stay at AKL??!!

I have to keep checking the boards, first of May we should buy tickets for MNSSHP, did anyone have problems buying the tickets last year? I vaguely remember seeing posts (there were so many different ones, and I just didnt open them!) some had ticket problems, wrong dates, or not enough? Or maybe they sold out?

Also, was reading the reviews on allearsnet on the Food and Wine, Food for the Senses, when do those tickets go on sale? And do the tickets for the events go on sale before the list the concert schedule?

Call me curious...

A Bump! and an update!!

I'm right there with you MommyBoo! My DSs 6 and 8 had to clean their room yesterday and it was bad! Play, play, play! At least they had some fun!

MommyBoo! wait until your DD8 turns 12.... It gets worse. I tell my DD8 "Don't you ever! (when DD12 acts up or says something "smart) or I'll end up with a glass of wine in one hand and a bottle of hair dye to cover all my grey in the other!" However I do hear it eventually will get better.... yeah right!

HI! Everyone! I have the 2005 Birnbaum's WAlt Disney World Guide and the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parades name is being changed this year to Mickey's Boo To You Halloween Parade. Just thought that was interesting.

Ooh OooH OOOOOOOoooooh! we are!! Honeymooning in the happiest kingdom on Earth! Dfi and I are planning on going in October and would love to do 7 days, with the first night being a tower room at the CR and the rest at BC. My WONDERFUL parents are paying for the trip as a wedding present, and we have been instructed to go "balls to the wall" on it!

And MommyBoo, we were having a Birthday Party tonight TOO!! For my DS!

*heavy sigh... you see, his birthday was April 15 - AND WE COULDNT FIT IT IN!! Poor kid, what a typical middle child, he'll need therapy for sure!!

Of course I didnt mention he didnt come HOME from SCHOOL yesterday!! He went to school at 6AM for water polo practice, after school 2 Water Polo Games, then the Band kids went out to dinner (20 of them at least!!) then at 9:30 PM they boarded a bus and went 20 miles north for a BAND CONTEST! With sight reading AT MIDNIGHT!! UGG What's UP with THAT?!! Well the band powers that be, decided it was the best time not to interfere with other activities!! Dont GET ME STARTED!!

Oh did I mention... it was his 17th Birthday! when did he get to be so old? When did they?? Sunrise... sunset....

It all goes too fast!!

Is it time to go to Disney? Good thing DD8 still wants to go!!

You'll LOVE the Grand Floridian. We went on our first trip to WDW in December and stayed at the Grand Floridian.

GOOD MORNING! I've been looking at the UG numbers for when I'm going to be there, and I think I might change my MNSSHP to Tuesday the 18th instead of Sunday the 16th. It is suppose to be less crowded that day. What do you all think?
