I would just like to add that I am from Cape May Court House orginally. Cape May County, NJ Just moved to CT. I was very excited to see on the map in the BCV room my home town I also went to College on the Mainline in Philly. Its a small world after all.

NO WAY!

DW and I both grew up in Cape May Court House! I lived on Stagecoach Rd. and she lived on Timothy Lane off Goshen Rd. We both went to Middle Township schools! Small world!

Gloucester Township Here! Member since 2000

I have friends that own DVC from Franklinville, Gloucester Township and Mullica Hill.

They don't read the board so I figured I'd let you know.

I grew up in Blackwood....graduated from Highland. My parents still live there!

I'm claiming honorary Gloucester County status.

Even though I now live across the river in
Montgomery County, PA, my South Jersey/
Gloucester County roots are deep:

-- lived in Oak Valley, Deptford Twp. through
3rd grade (although we always said "Wenonah":p )
-- grandparents lived in Woodbury Heights for
more than 40 years
-- attended Glassboro State (*not* Rowan!)
-- edited several weekly newspapers in GlouCo after
graduation and lived in Pitman
-- Dad was registrar at Gloucester County College

Hey, does the Hilltop Diner in Mullica Hill still have
the world's best Chicken Pot Pie?

Glad to see my old stomping grounds well represented here...

My mom was just at Hilltop Resturant last Thursday night for the Chicken Pot Pie!!! Yes, it's still as GOOD as ever!!!

My nephew attended Oak Valley Elementary in Wenonah until last year, he now attends Lake Tract.

I have an uncle that still lives on Baylor Road in Wenonah.

I live in West Depford, near the high school.

DW and I were raised in Pennsgrove, Carneys Point Salem County. Raised 2 children while living in Pennsville also Salem County.
Now reside in N. Cape May, Cape May County. Love it !!!!

Yes those maps in BCV and pictures of Atlantic City in the BWV bring back lots of memories.

Question: when a post like this comes out everyone feels free to puts down all their history but few fill out their profile to show the state they live and fewer show city, town or area.
Just curious !

OK, I cant resist this one, I am right up here in the south end of central Jersey in Brick, very close to the Point Pleasent / Bay head beach area, but I feel very at home in south jersey.

before we discovered WDW we would take daytrips regularly to cape may. I feel very much at home at BCV, my husband and myself enjoyed the maps as well.

Terry, Love that quaint town you live in, matter of fact DH will be picking up our front lawn at Reeds sod farm there probably this saturday!!

I toured OKY in 95, but finally bought BCV in 2002 pre opening. I have added on 3 times since joining, and now own at BCV and BWV.

It really does feel like home:D :D :D :D

My wife and I were both raised on Long Beach Island in Ocean County. There are definately alot of high schools on these posts that I have been to. We both graduated Southern Regional and now live in Manahawkin. Nice to see people from South Jersey being represented. We own HH & BCV.

FELICIA (Sitchu2) We are in a new development, and our property actually abuts one of their sod farms!!!! Did you know that Allentown used to be called "Reedsgrowallthegrassaroundheretown"?? ;)

WAYNE IN PA --- Did you used to be a politician in Pitman? And you went to Glassboro State in the 70's? If yes to both, I think I know who you are.... But I won't hold that against you ;) !!

IT'S A REALLY REALLY REALLY SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL...... !!!!!!!

Terry

Hi Terry -- Bruce (not Wayne, not even Bruce Wayne :p )
in PA here. I'm probably not the guy you're thinking of --
I lived in Pitman, but was never a politician. Knew a few
of them via reporting though...

And yes, graduated from Glassboro in the '70s ('79)
under my own 7-year plan: started in 73, took a few
years "exploration time" in between...

Terry in NJ and Sitchu2: I went to school with the Reed boys @ Allentown HS. The one was a yr or 2 younger than me. One of our best friends is the HS gym teacher.

Carone0318 and Terry

That is sooo neat , we are all connected, thru dvc, nj, and now by grass, its the circle of life as well as a small world!!!! LOL!

BRUCE,
I humbly apologize for the name mixup and YES, it has everything to do with BATMAN... Bruce Wayne. Many years ago a friend was dating two guys at the same time. You guessed it.... Bruce and Wayne. Well, I just couldn't get it right :D ! I graduated in '79 also from Glassboro.... Communications, then went on to Rutgers/Camden Law School.... (a glutton for punishment).

AND the ALLENTOWN/ Reed Sod farm connection is waaaay too funny... cheers to you all!
Terry

but we also own a home on LBI in Ocean County! That counts, don't it?? LOL! Members since 1999

Grew up in Gloucester Township and went to Highland as well. Now my daughter is ready to go to Highland in the fall. Currently living right off College Drive about a half mile from Camden County College.

Anyone else from South / Central Jersey:)

My mother grew up in Pitman...(Pitman High, class of '39)

I grew up in Maryland. :D

But now I live in New York City. :p
