I have to reply...
We bought our first DVC OKW resale (hopped onto those included park passes in late '97) while living in Williamstown.
In 2000, sold our home because of my job and now live in
Monmouth County.
We have since sold the OKW because my husband really likes BWV (again a resale) and can't wait to buy more ( WELL, I can't wait !!!!)
But I went to Glassboro State College when it was still "Glassboro" and stayed in South Jersey for 25 years before moving back up the Turnpike, so I'm sure that counts for something!

DW and I were born and raised in Cape May County. I was FLOORED when I saw the map of Cape May County in the BCV sample room! It was a map of my old stomping ground! I grew up in Cape May Court House, and my dad lives in Sea Isle City. I couldn't get over that map! Is there one in every BCV room?

Go to Drexel over in Philly, so I pass thru Gloucester County about 8 times a week. DW and I are in Deptford quite often...We often shop at the Deptford Mall, eat at the Chi-Chis off the Rt. 55 exit...(I can drive 55 in my sleep...I know where all of the WaWas are off Rt. 55...) In fact, DW bought her wedding dress at the David's Bridal next to the Barnes and Noble. DW and I were in marching band in high school, and we went to competitions at Deptford, Triton, West Deptford, and Gloucester high schools. Most of our friends go to Rowan University.

We live in Atlantic County right now, about 2 miles from Ocean City. DW and I laugh at ourselves b/c of our obsession with BWV/BCV...afterall, they are an imitation of the REAL THING...which is where we live! We want to leave the real thing and go to an imitation of it...BUT is IS at Disney....

We also live in West Deptford, both my DW and I graduated from WDHS. I lived in WD since the age of 5, I will be 48 on Easter Sunday. We joined DVC in March 2002, added on in October 2002, and getting ready to add on again "VERY SOON!!!"
You are now the second DVC Member I know from WD besides ourselves. BTW, I read the water meters for WD, so if you see me reading your meter, make sure you say hi!!!

My husband grew up in Woodbury (WHS '82). His parents, brothers, sisters, and friends still live there, but I transplanted him to Maryland after college.

We'll be DVC members in May...if all goes according to plan with the resale and loan!!

We are from Cumberland Co. too but, we do alot of our shopping in Deptford. Like you say, that must account for something. When our son was in high school he was also in marching band and so there again, we've spent alot of time at all the Gloucester Co. high schools. We joined DVC in Sept. of 2002.

We're from Gibbstown. I was born and raised in Gibbstown, my husband born and raised in Paulsboro. We both went to Paulsboro high school. I think part of the reason we bought into BCV (the other alternative was a resale at BWV) is because it reminds us of the Jersey shore (sort of). We love the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk, and BCV is just close enough so that it's not quite in the middle of the noise, yet close enough to enjoy the atmosphere. Hey to all our South Jersey "neighbors"!

SheriB- I also grew up in Gibbstown and went to Paulsboro High School! I moved to West Deptford when I got married.

We own at WLV and love it! Best thing we ever did, but should have done it sooner when we first took the tour.

Hey Terry in NJ, I grew up in Allentown, NJ! Small world.

I remember I went to BCV when they had their open house the week before they opened last year, and was looking at the pictures on the wall and was like, they look familiar. Then I was like hey, that's Cape May. I felt a special connection to BCV. Don't own there, don't plan to, but like the fact that I can relate.
