Yes we have had summer here across the border. For 3 days in a row we ran the A/C

Thank goodness I have my upcoming trip and the Dis to keep me sane.

Prayers for all of you out there dealing with the horrible flooding. I heard a 7 year old girl was killed when the car her family was riding in got swept away in a flash flood.

This has been one of the most miserable summers ever! The constant rain and low temps is depressing. Kids are getting cabin fever in the summer!

And now a child has died from flooding. God bless them.

my sil lives in that town, and we drive by the campground everytime we go the science center, I can't believe it

I saw a pic of the car on the news. Poor baby, it looked horrible. I think the mother and son are doing ok.
That is why you must live each day happy. You never know what minute your life will change.

Seems like every year somewhere in NH gets flooded lately.


I am hoping that this cool weather doesnt give us an indication of what the winter will be like.
We went out and bought a pool... and its too cold to get into it in August . Just not right. The only hot days we have had this summer were the days we were setting up the pool lol.

Thats funny, so did we in June. Been in it 4 times since.

Yesterday was a nice dry day, FINALLY! I heard that we will be getting more rain Sunday night into Monday. NO MORE RAIN! NO MORE RAIN!

Very sad news today. I found out that two young men from my town were killed in a car accident early this morning. They died at the scene.

Good morning NH!

Today has dawned sunny and beautiful! Maybe today my DS7 will be able to have his swimming lessons without the threat of rain. Unfortunatly his swim lessons take place in an outdoor pool so the last three weeks have been horrid. It's either raining out or cool. Poor thing has blue lips through most of the lesson.

I'm new here, but I've lived in NH for 25 years, after moving here with my family from Ipswich Ma. I just found out yesterday that one of the young men who died over the weekend was the son of the Barrington Elementary School principle. He was only 21 years old. It was such a shame!
