Who's from NH?

Hi all. :santa: Wanted to let everyone know that the Christmas stamps are in at the post office. My shopping is half done. How about you?

Hi all. :santa: Wanted to let everyone know that the Christmas stamps are in at the post office. My shopping is half done. How about you?

I have made a good start Christmas shopping, but I dont' think I'm 1/2 done yet. I have two items left to get for DH (sneakers, and some car adapter gadget thingy). I do feel good about having a plan for what gifts I want to get everyone. I have been using gift lists on amazon (private - so family can't see) to keep my ideas for each person organized, very handy.

Not enjoying the rain here today.....

Hello fellow New Hampshirites. How's everyone doing on his wet evening??

Hoping that everything dries up today so we can mow the loan and get rid of all of the leaves. Still a lot more to fall though!

It's sunny up here in central Vermont (hi neighbors) finally. Yesterday was ridiculous! All our leaves are down and it's really beginning to look like winter is coming, fast! UGH!

Good morning all. :santa: Are you ready for "BLACK FRIDAY". My shopping is mostly done. A few more things and I will be all set. MY girlfriend and I are headed to the Manchester Mall on Friday. We aren't looking for anything in particular. We will eat, drink and be merry watching all the crazy people.

Have a Blessed and a Happy Thanksgiving.

Yay, bring on the shopping (oh and the eating, drinking and merrymaking)!! I did a lot yesterday down in Natick - there was NOBODY in the mall and I got some Black Friday deals early (woohoo!). Happy Thanksgiving everyone and be careful shopping!

Happy Thanksgiving to fellow NH disney fans! Tom is in the oven and I have been going through the ads for tomorrow. I will be hitting Staples and then the Mall in Manchester as well.

I haven't been on this thread in ages!

I will be missing out on all the Black Friday specials this year. :sad2: But, I have a really good excuse. We are leaving very early tomorrow morning and heading to Disney World! :woohoo:

I'm going to be a NH resident (actually I'll be splitting my time between NJ and NH) very soon, closing on my new house is next Friday :cool1:

I made a stop at Wal-Mart on my way to Rochester for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. There was actually no line at the Kodak picture printing machines so I took advantage of that and printed some of my pictures from the last trip to Disney, a wedding, and a trip to DC!

Went to K-Mart in Rochester for the Thanksgiving Day sale - nothing real great but I picked up some board games for the kids.

Today I am avoiding anything that resembles a store! I hate to think what the North Conway "strip" and Settler's Green are like today. The Christmas Tree Shop alone is probably clogging up traffic!

We popped down to West Lebanon to check Best Buy for a new TV and it wasn't that busy out there at all! We walked in to Lui Lui's for lunch with no problem. I've been down there when it's way worse and NOT holiday season. Wonder where everyone was?

That's shocking for Lui Lui - That place is always busy. I skipped W Leb this year and headed to Manchester. Now I am so exhusted. :rotfl:

I was home by 9 and the Christmas Tree shop was overflowing!!:confused3I admit it - I was at Tommy Hilfiger at 2AM this moring! Some stores opened at midnight, others at 5Am and Walmart at 5 as well.... It was pretty quiet and I got some great deals at Childs Place, Reebok and Bass. I was among the thousands who filled Wall World this morning, but I was on a mission. Got there at 4 AM, had my cart filled and every item crossed off my list by 5:25. I spent more time in check out than navigatng the store.... I have been there on Black Friday in years past but have never seen anything like this!! I am all for a bargain and have to make my budget strecth as far as possible. :banana:I have 90% of my shopping done and didnt have to barter with my husband to watch the kids or pay a babysitter either! I am psyhed!:thumbsup2

Hi from Newport. I hope everyone had a good Turkey Day.11/27, 4:00am. We went to the Manchester Mall. WOW, couldn't fine a place to park. Then lo and behold a space opened right up in front of Best Buy. I was parked in front of a black Toyota SUV with the plate number~ "Pixiedust" abbrevited. I wanted to get in the mall so fast I didn't get the correct spelling. Was this you? We were there about 4hrs. We went to Concord to have lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. Finished up our shopping and headed home around 2:00. Boy was I tired. I guess I am getting to old for this.:lmao: I fell asleep in my recliner around 5:00 and went to bed at 6:30. My daughter missed out on the "Black Friday" shopping. 11/27, 4:00am. Our daughter and her family are driving to "Disney" and she left a message around 9:00pm on the machine that they were in South Carolina. Even DH was napping in his recliner and missed the call from her. Hope to hear from her soon.

Be safe Pikester.

Chat later.
