In my neck of the woods (Concord) the highway is packed and the grocery stores are mobbed with Nascar fans and those of us, like myself, that forgot it was race weekend. I grabbed enough food to feed an army and I plan on staying home this weekend to avoid the traffic hassles!

And those of us with a long commute up I-93, who also didn't realize this, just smacked ourselves in the heads at the realization of the traffic snarl we're likely to experience...

Hi Guys ... Can I pop in? We are from Massachusetts and live in S. Florida now BUT we are moving home and then buying a house in S. New Hampshire this summer!! We are so excited and can't wait.

We are looking Londonderry/Derry/Windham and Pelham. Salem as well. Any suggestions, ideas? DH works in Woburn, just off 93 so we need to be within a reasonable commute to that area.

Mind if I ask why you're moving back?? We are living in Londonderry and plan to be doing the opposite (heading to live in florida) within the next year....

Supposed to be a beautiful sunny, warm day here - so far its below 70 ' and the sky is cloudy and its breezy/windy... Wanted to do a day at the river, but i might have to wear jeans and long sleeves!!

Weather today is awesome and the forecast for tomorrow is pretty darn good too. Last Saturday was nice - we actually spent some time down at the river.

It is about time we had some summer!

This may already have been mentioned, but on my two day trip to my office this week I saw a car with the license plate DSNYFUN on South River Road in Bedford, near Macy's. Does it belong to anyone here?

Just wanted to stop by and say what a beautiful place my friends from the North(North of me anyways) live in. My family visited Franconia, Lincoln, Woodstock and North Woodstock, NH for 3 days last week. We hit Whale's Tales, Hobo Golf (twice), the Hobo Train ride (the lunch was yummy!), Flume Gorge, the Basin and Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves. We also visted the river that flows behind all the shops in North Woodstock, had ice cream, bought candy at the Emporium Candy Shoppe, ate dinner at the Woodstock Inn and Station Restaurant and had an AWESOME breakfast at Polly's Pancake Parlor located in Sugar Hill, NH. The weather was great and we had a great time!

Sometimes I forget how beautiful the state I am living in can be.

Living in the mountains, you kind of take them for granted. What makes me appreciate NH's beauty the most is on the rare occasions when I get to the beach. I love the ocean!

It was pretty wet out there today. My daughter had a soccer jamboree so we were outside watching soccer for 4 1/2 hours in the pouring rain.

Thought we might float away on Saturday. But now we are enjoying some beautiful days before school starts again on Wednesday! Summer went too quickly this year!
