This is always a benchmark for me. I don't for a minute accept weather predictions beyond the day after tomorrow, but for Orlando, at this time of year, the weather folks can usually see an extreme cold or warm front coming the better part of a week in advance, so this site will get a daily visit from me:

Anyone else eyeing the weather yet?

I haven't started watching the weather yet as I am 15 days out. But I will be watching soon. I am about half packed, but will rearrange if need be.

Wow! Thanks Bill. I have been going to weather.com and they only give you 10 days in advance. I'm excited, I will be arriving 2/26 and it is showing nice weather. I'll keep my fingers crossed it doesnt change. :sunny:

I have been watching it for a few days now. Like you I don't put a whole lot of faith in the predictions this far out but it is still fun to look. By this point in time, all the trip details are done and it is a bit early to finalize the packing so watching the weather predictions gives me something to do. Pretty sad, huh??? :rotfl:

We'll be arriving Thursday night, doing Disney Fri. & Sat., then the Daytona 500 on Sunday. It's looking a little chilly in the mornings, then warming up in the afternoons. Sounds like jeans and a light jacket with short sleeve shirts underneath. Still tough to tell. As long as the rain stays away on Sunday. I wish Orlando had a Weatherman similar to Bob Breck like we do over here in Louisiana. Bob is the man!

we still have a couple of days until we're in that 15-day window...but so far, so good!! I would love to get a bit of sun on my shoulders...

how do you know you're going to Disney soon?

1) Your sig other says, "Up and at 'em" when the alarm goes off in the morning...

Thanks Bill. I sure hope it stays the way they are predicting! By the way, you and my husband would get along great!! He loves a good beer! Have a great trip!

Just looked on the weather site earlier and can't believe the great weather they're predicting. Just hope it stays that way. We arrive Thursday 23rd and on the Friday 24th they say it will be 81deg!!! Predicted to be in mid 70s all the following week too. As we're around 50deg here at the moment that is just fantastic.

Count me as one of those checking the weather! Hope to see some fellow Dis'ers when we go. I will be at Port Orleans Riverside Feb. 25th-March 4th and I have the lime green Mickey!

We're at the FQ from the 23rd February to 2nd March!!! Will look out for the lime green when we walk down the other end! Going to be warm!! :sunny:

Awesome! It will be me and 4 friends. We're all 20 and we each have a different color of the spakly Mickey Mouse ear headbands, maybe I'll see you!

We have been in disney for almost 4 days and it has been very cold. We had pants and sweatshirts on. At night we even had coats on. We are staying at Old Key West and there was frost on the golf course this morning. No golfers out this morning. It is suppose to be nicer tomorrow and warming up even more by the end of the week.

Have a Magical Valentine's Day, We did at WDW.

Gee Whiz Bill, I'm eyeing the 5 day "nectar" I mean weather!! I’ve been getting ready for the hot, well I guess “warm”, sun and iced beverages. If I drink another Michelob Ultra I think I'll barf! I think I would rather drink swill. I am just about at my cruising weight and ready for some about face libation. The wife and kids leave on Tuesday and I will join them on Thursday. Gee, what to do on the plane all by myself! :smooth: Do they still have those little bottles on Jet Blue?

Sounds like there will be at few at R&C on March 3. Can’t wait. :drinking1 (I just love that picture)

Tim,

How did that last snow storm treat you? I noticed that the flight we're taking out of PHL got cancelled on Sun. due to snow and for the next 2 days it was late taking off because of the backlog. At this point, I'm as much concerned with the weather here as there. We 'discovered' Labatts on our last trip down and since then the Labatts Blue Light has been my everyday brew. Not bad. Our party is split this time also, with us arriving the morning of the 2nd and our daughter, SIL and grandkids on the 5th. I've got a few more DISers to PM about the date, one couple lives right down I-81 from us and they own a bar/restaurant but we haven't met yet. Have a nice, mellow flight.
