Who would YOU choose for Robert Langdon??

I think they should have learned their lesson making Tom Hanks the lead in Bonfire of the Vanities -- that miscasting made a stinker of a movie out of a wonderful book!

Tom Hanks is great, but next thing you know they'll cast him as Imelda Marco or something.

Two bits of trivia for this topic:
-First choice for Langdon was Bill Paxton, but he was not available.
Tom Hanks was the second choice. I Like him and I think he will do a great job.

-Dan Brown had Jean Reno in mind when he created the inspector, so there was no other choice than to give him that part.

Sleeping with three wives, I suspect. :)

He would have been a great choice.

while I was reading the book, I pictured Arthur Kent , the skud stud from Gulf war I. I cant think of an actor that favors him tho, except the guy who played Adam on Dynasty.
