Dennisnlisab96- Are your little ones on a tiny cheer squad or a mini level 1? I am coaching Tiny cheer here. This is my first year to coach. That age is quite a challenge. My DD's are on large junior level 2, large mini level 2, and tiny this year. Good luck! Maybe we will see your teams at Disney again in March.

WOW!!!! I am soooo glad I started this thread and that it is still going!!! We have our first comp Dec 3rd. This year 5 of my kids are cheering (1 more than last year!!) DS15 LG Senior co-ed level 4, DD's 13 & 10 large junior level 3, DS3 & DD4 mini's!!! This year should be a lot of fun and totally crazy...my husband also coaches 2 teams!

Where do your girls cheer in CT??? Sounds like you have your own team there!! Wow!! And I thought having 3 in cheering at once was tough!!! Good luck this year...........maybe we will see you around New England!!!

tnkrbell-My tiny team is ages 5 and under. It is quite a challenge. Every time we start to cheer somebody has to go "potty". They are adorable though. Hopefully -we will get a bid to UCA nationals March 9-11. We had 9 teams go last year. My middle DD is on a second grade and under level 2 team. My oldest DD9 is on junior level 2. Last year was my girls first year doing any type of gymnastics, so we are still trying to catch up in our tumbling.
Was the level 5 team on that video 8 and under or were they 11 and under?

March 9-11 is that the American Open?? I hope so we are doing that one!! I would love to meet you and also get to cheer on your teams!!! Very cool
That level 5 was an 8 year and under team(pee-wee)!! Pretty impressive huh??!!

Our teams go to the UCA National at MGM and Wide World of Sports. I think there are 3 big cheer competitions in Orlando that weekend. I would like to see your teams, but with my girls being on 3 different squads I don' t think we will have any down time. But keep us posted on the time you compete and maybe we can. Is your gym close to Orlando? We will be in Tampa and Orlando next weekend. Do ya'll compete next weekend or the following week?

Well we are close but 2 1/2 hours close so not really close.
The competition we are doing is this company http://americanchampionships.com/ac/2007dates.asp (that is one of the girls on my daughters team) I wish ours was not a 2 day comp also or I would shoot over to see you guys. Are you doing any others in Florida?

No, we don't do any others in Florida. We mostly compete in Alabama. I think we have some squads going to Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta in Feb.

We were going to do Atlanta but then by popular demand we are staying in Florida!!! Well keep me updated on your teams and I will send pixie dust their way and Ill ask you to do the same for us!!!!

rbuzzotta...we cheer for Titan All-Stars!! IT is a little easier than you would think...I am the owners assistant and my husband coaches the mini & junior teams!!! We live at the gym!!

polkadotminnie...we are a mini level 1...this is my husbands first year coaching also!! I wish you a WHOLE LOT of luck at Nationals this year...I was there with 3 of my kids last March ALL on different teams...I was soooo exhausted I can home sick

Dennisnlisa96- Are ya'll going back to UCA in March too? I remember that we had kids competing against each other last year. Maybe we will see you down there. We already have O'hana booked for dinner on March 9 and breakfast at CM on the 12th. Other than that I am not booking too many ADRs because of having them on 3 different squads. Last year, it was hard having all 3 girls on just 2 squads. We are also doing the Pirate and Princess Party on March 8th. Hope to see you there. Goo luck!

Just wanted to wish you all a successful season............

DD has had to leave cheering due to medical issues with my parents. I need to focus on them at the moment and will find it awfully hard to leave them to travel with her to all her various comps. I am heartbroken but must make priorities!! I am hoping that she will be able to return next season............I will be thinking of you all and your kids!!
