Tnkrbell- Is the Orlando Open Mar. 9th weekend? We will be in Orlando for the UCA National that weekend. There are like three major competitions in Orlando that weekend. I wish we could see your team compete. Best wishes for a safe, successful season!

I just noticed that Mar. 9th weekend is also Daylight Savings Time. The girls will lose an hour sleep...

When is your first competition?? Our first regional is November 18th. BUT we are performing for the opening night for the Florida Panther vs the Bruins hockey game!!!

Our first competition is Oct. 28th. Our regionals are Nov. 4th. It will be here before we know it...

Looks like our first competition is Jamfest natioanls in Indy (Jan. 2007)!!! Hoping to be able to go to a local comp before then (if they are available!!).

Ours is 10/22. It's a local comp at a high school. I think it's a good way to start out the season.
Do any of you visit any cheer message boards? I occasionally read ProX but not much is going on. Same with a yahoo group I found.

Hi! Just another cheer Mom checking in! Cheer Moms RULE !!!!!

My DD15 is on a Senior Level 4 squad at ICE Athletics in Naperville, IL. I also have a DD9 who dances on the ICE youth dance team. We will be at both Jamfest in Indy and NCA/Dallas this year. Is anyone doing American Cheer Power in Columbus in March?

in March 2006. We will be ther March 9-13. I have 3 kids going to Nationals. DD 8 Jr. prep, DD 12 Junior, DS Serior co-ed!!!!

Not us. booooo!!! We are going to Nashville. Not that there is anything wrong with Nashville, but it is not Disney.

Just checking in... Our competition schedule has not been nailed down yet, but it looks like we are going to do a lot of local (Myrtle Beach, SC) competitions. We might do one in either Virginia or Georgia. DD (8) is on the youth team, along with DS (5). The coaches decided to combine the pee-wee and youth teams (so far) because we didn't have a lot of pee wees try out.

Good luck with choreography. My daughter just about finished her's last week!! Still need to tweek it here and there and the get some music!! I have only seened bits and pieces but I am impressed for sure!!

We just got our competition schedule and our first comp is Dec. 16 and then straight to Nationals!!!

Hi I haven't checked in on this site in a while so I am just updating from my last post. My DD cheers for college SCSU and she will compete at UCA Nationals again this Jan. She is still an Allstar Cheerleader for CT Spirit College Open team, she is a UCA Staff cheerleader so she traveled all summer to New England camps and had a blast. And as of this past Tues. her local High School team lost their head coach and they offered her the job! I don't know how she will do it all as she does live in a dorm with 4 other cheerleaders (which must be hard to study) but she tells me she can do it all! So I am just a very Proud Cheer Mom and had to brag a little. Thanks for listening. Good luck to all of the cheerleaders and cheermoms out there!

My DD is on a Junior level 5 and Sr Coed Sm level 5. She's a HS frosh & cheers for JV Football & Basketball also. Our competitions haven't been etched in stone yet, just know one is usually in Florida (the rest I think they throw an atlas in the air & go to whichever state it opens to )

Maybe we will see you at Mohegan Sun in March!! I just booked a room at the Amerisuites in Mystic yesterday as my DD's team is going to that comp this year (they did not last year!!).
