Who was your salesperson?

Lisa DeRosa here.... She is well versed in the ins and outs of DVC and a very upbeat person.

When I initially bought in three years ago my guide was Megan....but not the same one mentioned in this board. She left DVC. I ended up getting assigned to a bad guide  Really high pressure (even though at 20 I had 160 pt contract  he didn't feel it was enough ) and I didn't like him. A friend of mine recommended Bernard L. (I will butcher his french last name...not going to try!) and he is fabulous....low pressure, always answers any questions I have and really a nice guy. My husband and I met up with him on one of our trips and he is great! :teeth: He better not leave DVC or I'll be lost!

:wave2:

Carol De Angelo was our guide and she has been fantastic. I highly recommend her.

Joan Lane was our Guide .. I didn't see anyone mention her? is she gone? She gave us the whole tour talk etc. but she was not there the day we closed, she had anothe guide do our closing papers, but her name was on everything... The Closing guy was incredible, I don't know his name, but he was FULL of info, explained every step and detail.. was very smooth and fluid as he turned the pages telling us to sign my the Mickey's.. you could tell he did this at least 20 times a day....

Another Randy Krueger fan. I thought he was great, very low pressure., very helpful. Definately reccommend him

Linda Scolaro!! Very patient with us buying, not buying, buying!! I've recommended her to alot of people who are very impressed. Now if they would all just BUY!!!!!!!

Julie Hughes was our salesperson and I absolutely adored her. He was very informative and helpful without that "pushy" attitude. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to switch. Oh and we did hear from her after the sale!! :)

Our DVC Rep is Rose Dahill who lives at Hilton Head (866-287-6516). Very, very nice, wonderful to work with.

On Valentine's Day my father bought more points at Vero Beach from Rose.

She is on vacation at Vero till 2/28.

We HIGHLY recommend Rose.:sunny:

My guide is Kim Moore. He is great to work with. Very laidback and congenial, but extremely knowledgable. Very quick to return phone calls. I never felt pressured, and he was oh so patient with my endless questions when I first bought. :p Luckily I didn't have to bug him with so many questions when I added on a few times. :D

Another vote for Carol Ann DeAngelo - she's been great. Absolutely no pressure 7 years ago when we first bought; in fact she told me it might not be right for us! Three add-ons later, I think the girl's psychology was spot on ;) The last time we added on, we spent some time with her and she was just hilarious too.

Our original guide was Ellen (Cohen) Sullivan, this was back in '93. She was just great. She moved on to sell at Celebration and we had Betty Plesant for 1 add on. Now we have Jim McCoy, we did our last 2 add-ons with Jim, he is also great, very friendly, quick to reply if you call. So we have had 3, and each was easy to work with and very helpful and friendly.

I met with Marc at Hilton Head in 1998, but did not buy into DVC. He kept in contact over the years and I bought through him for SSR this past October. I was surprised to not see his name mentioned. Does anyone know if he is still with DVC. I thought that he was one of the few their since day one. He is very nice.
Thanks,
Rex

We, too, had Marc Turner, whom we liked very much. Last I knew once HHI was sold out he was "re-stationed" at WDW. Haven't heard from him in awhile though.

I called DVC for information about the Vacation Club, and they said someone would get back to me. In less than an hour Byron called and gave me an overall view as to how it worked, and said he would send an information package to me. He told me his card would be included and that I wouldn't hear from him again unless I called him. Two weeks later we called him and after two hours on the phone, getting all our questions answered, we bought.
On our first trip to OKW, he called to see if we were in the room, and visited us so we could meet face to face. He never bothered us again, but when I called about add ons, he would always get back to us the same day, or the next. When we did our addon at HH, he told that we could also addon via the resale route. He has always been a perfect gentleman, with no pressure at all.

Ours is Judy Kaufman. She's very knowledgeable and professional. She handled our initial purchase and 2 add-ons.

Another person very satisfied with Judy Kaufman. We purchased our original contract and two add ons through Judy. DW has had the pleasure of meeting her, but I have just had many very pleasant conversations with her.

Our salesperson was Jenna Cornell. We liked her alot. We just went in for some info because I was hellbent on buying OKW through resale because of the low dues and lower points per night, and I pretty much told her that, but it didnt stop her from talking to us and answering questions we had. We did end up going through her and buying at BCVs because after we saw her we were asking anyone we saw with a DVC shirt, hat, backpack if they liked DVC. Everyone was real positive about DVC and told us that the BCV and BWV were the perferred areas of most DVC members because of there location and went on and on about how much they loved DVC. So we went back the next day and bought. Oh we also went through her instead of resale because with giving back the first years points we paid $74/point with no closing. Where if we went through resale it would have been $72/point with $300 closing so it all equaled out,and I am more then happy with DVC. Jeez sorry for the whole how and why I bought into DVC instead of just who my salesperson was.

Another one for Judy Kaufman. I began talking to her around 2000 when my first inquiry into DVC happened. She kept my name on file and called me a couple of times, I think, to follow-up and see if there was still interest. It wasn't high pressure at all.

I received an invitation to tour DVC on our last trip with an incentive. When I showed up for our appointment, they put me with Judy Kaufman, yet again. She acted like she had known me for a long time. She was very pleasant, and, of course, being an owner of a large contract herself, was able to tout all the benefits of DVC pretty convincingly. I had a lot of fun on the tour. At the time, I looked at BWV and BCV. SSR wasn't quite for sale yet. She called me a month or so later to follow up, and shortly thereafter I found out about SSR and its incentives which led me to finally cave in. Judy didn't tell me about the incentives. I found out about them here on the boards and then called her to ask if I could purchase SSR instead with the $10 off incentive. I'm sort of surprised that Judy didn't call me with this information, but she was always very friendly in any case.

She is very helpful and professional and returns phone calls within 24 hours. The only thing I would have liked would have been a follow-up phone call after the deal was done.
