I keep seeing things about her murder. It says she was a model, but, no offense intended to her and may she rest in peace, I think her face just wasn't pretty enough to be a model. I really mean no disrespect.

Does anyone here know who she was?

I totally agree with you on the face issue (and I thought the samething) but what she was modeling had nothing to do with the face.;)

I only know about this story because I'm originally from California and keep up with the local news. This all happened there. From what I understand, she was a swimsuit model that was murdered and placed in a suitcase. It was pretty brutal (fingers cut off, etc). Her husband is the accused murderer. He was on some reality show called "Meagan wants a Millionaire" or something like that. It was on VH1 and has been cancelled because of this story.

Apparently, the victim met her husband in Vegas and they married shortly after they met in March. I think it quickly became ugly and she left him.

May she rest in peace. I can't imagine what her family is going through.

I'll try and be as tactful as possible......When people (mostly males, I would suspect) looked at her photos, it was not her FACE they were staring at, if you know what I mean. Her "modeling" attributes rested elsewhere. God bless her, what a way to leave this earth. That guy is nuts and evil.

I thought the exact same thing; I think her main asset was her assets, if you get my drift ;)

I had never heard of her, either. I'll have to ask my SO...he seems to be more in tune with this sort of thing!

Her assets, also known as her breast implants, helped identify her since her fingers and teeth had been removed. The serial number on the implants gave police her name.

She had a very unusual face and from some angles wasn't as photogenic, however many shots I saw she was gorgeous. I think they are just showing the same unflattering shots where her forehead looked high. She was a beautiful model and one of Playboys Girls of Golf. There are far more girls vying to be involved with Playboy than there are slots. It takes more than large assets to be in Playboy. There is a certain look and photogenic quality that they are looking for. Whether people feel she is a legitimate model or approve of her choices or feel she is pretty enough to meet the discerning tastes on here, she was very pretty and is very dead and I am sure her family misses her.

I had watched a few episodes of Megan wants a millionaire and I can't recall who this guy was. There were a few really creepy guys on there. Like, I watched the Valentine's Date episode...what date did this guy put on?

What an alleged sicko creep.

AH, I thought it might be something like that.

I hope justice is served quickly for her family's sake. How terrible.

Again, I mean no disrespect to her. Some of us are prettier than others and it's ok not to be pretty. I just couldn't figure out how she was a model.

I think she was very plastic-looking which made her not all that attractive. I don't mean any disrespect to her, either - just stating my immediate thought when I saw her.
The murder was absolutely terrible and I really hope they catch the guy.

I think the photo that's been shown in the news a lot is her driver's license photo. She looks much prettier in the actual photo-shoot shots I've seen.

(I hope they don't publish MY DMV photo if I meet a tragic end- I'd really not want that to be the way people remember me!)

The one that I saw was one in which she was with her husband/suspected killer. I agree, though...I definitely wouldn't want my driver's license picture shown.

JMO, I think it's pretty tacky (for lack of a better word) to comment on the looks of a brutually murdered girl. :guilty:

I hope they find her killer and they get what they deserve.

What a sad and tragic story...I agree...may she rest in peace.

I agree with this.

I hope she is at peace and my prayers are with her family.

The reason I brought up her looks was because I wondered how she could be a model. I didn't say she was ugly or anything. I just said I didn't think she was pretty enough to be a model and wondered who she was.

I just googled her. She was a swimsuit model and she used to work for Playboy - there is speculation she used a psuedonym to pose for playboy a few years ago. I agree on the looks but feel so bad the whole thing is just tragic and grisly.

ETA - it's really sad the way they had to identify the body. That the murderer defiled the body that much...

the thing is, you are buying into a preconceived notion that all models wake up in the morning looking like the most beautiful women in the world,

reality is, that models come in all shapes and sizes, all nationalities, and looks vary,,, modeling agencies, don't look for females that are drop dead gorgeous, they look for women who are good canvases, women who can be made up to look many different ways, have you ever seen some of the top models, without makeup, it takes the best makeup artists and great photographers, working with modles who can strike a pose and project the feeling needed, for a successful photo shoot..

regardless, the issue is, and innocent woman was brutally murdered by a sick individual

Um, no, I'm not. The pictures I've seen of her were in full make up. Seriously, I'm a woman and an artist of sorts. I know there are various forms of beauty and I know all about photography and pre and post makeup. Don't insult my intelligence.

Now that people have explained, I understand. She did have an absolutely beautiful body.

And yes, the most important part of the story is that she was brutally murdered, likely by someone she thought loved her. It's a horrible thing.
