Who was Jasmine Fiore?

you've really piqued my curiosity with this comment, please post pics of yourself :cool1:

:) If I were going to post a picture of myself, it would not be for you, thanks.

And I wasn't necessarily putting myself in the "pretty" category.

I decided to look up pictures of her and I found a few where I thought she looked absolutely beautiful, but they were taken when she was more natural-looking and a brunette. In the end, her looks don't really matter. She may have been a wonderful person (we don't know much about her as a person) and her life was cut too short.

Absolutely. It's very sad.

Um, no, I'm not. The pictures I've seen of her were in full make up. Seriously, I'm a woman and an artist of sorts. I know there are various forms of beauty and I know all about photography and pre and post makeup. Don't insult my intelligence.

Now that people have explained, I understand. She did have an absolutely beautiful body.

And yes, the most important part of the story is that she was brutally murdered, likely by someone she thought loved her. It's a horrible thing.

not trying to insult your intelligence, just stating facts about the modelling industry, and as someone else stated, they are basically showing the same pictures over and over, bad makeup and bad lighting or photography can make anyone look bad, , I've seen a few photos of her where she looked very beautiful, we've all seen those horrible tabloid photos that make celebrities look bad,,,, I can shoot anyone, at 5 frames per second, and I guarnatee there will be at least one shot that will look really bad, noto because that person is not pretty, but because I caught that odd angle or expression...

I was being sarcastic, I really don't care if you post pics or not, but with this statement,

Some of us are prettier than others and it's ok not to be pretty.

how were you not putting yourself in the Pretty category...:confused3:confused3

I guess I worded it wrong. I meant it to mean "some people are prettier than others...".

They just found HIM DEAD!

Just heard on the news that they found Jenkins's body in Canada, they're saying he hung himself.

I heard it, too....he must have realized there was no way he was going to get away with it.

I'm glad he is dead, but it ticks me off that he did it. I'm sure the family has questions that will now never be answered.

Get out! It DOES save the trouble of a trial and the cost of incarcerating him. But why do these cowards that kill their spouses (or girlfriends, children, parents, etc.) and then kill themselves afterward, not cut to the chase and off themselves FIRST? :headache: If they're going to be such chickens as to kill themselves rather than face their punishment, then why not simply kill themselves, leave their would-be victims alone and don't ruin so many lives? Geez, this girl married him, apparently thought the marriage had been annulled (but there's no record of that) and was in all likelihood, trying to get on with her life after a disastrous brief marriage. Now she's been murdered in the most gruesome of fashions, so her future is over. And her family is left behind, devastated. All because of a man she only knew a few months and who probably seemed like Prince Charming in the beginning. :sad2:

I think this one has stuck in my head because it reminds me of a girl I knew in high school. Yes, she was "tarty." She wore way too much makeup...with that thick drawn-on liquid eyeliner, bleached her hair to the extreme and wore clothes that were anything but conservative. But she was a really nice girl. Kind and sweet at heart. And once you got to know her, she had a dry sense of humor that was fantastic. Right after her senior year, she went out of state with a friend and somehow they met some guys who turned out to be bad news. Apparently, they seemed nice enough at first. First, all we heard was that they were missing. Then they found my classmate, chopped in pieces and left in a closet. :sad1: I think they killed the other girl too, but to tell you the truth, I was so stunned when I got the news that my brain just heard buzzing. I felt so sorry for her parents....losing a daughter when she was still just a teenager. And for WHAT?

You've made some excellent points. I am also glad this animal is dead, but I'm not so sure seeing him tried, having an explanation (if he would even bother giving one) and being incarcerated would bring too much comfort to her family. Then again.....maybe it might. People grieve and seek closure very differently.

From the California taxpayers' point of view, they don't have to use state resources for extradition, a trial and imprisonment. The state is broke and considering letting prisoners out as it is. Jasmine's family will not have to sit in a courtroom and see this guy plead his innocence with a smirk or possible taunts or mockery.

I had watched a few episodes of Megan wants a millionaire and I can't recall who this guy was. There were a few really creepy guys on there. Like, I watched the Valentine's Date episode...what date did this guy put on?

What an alleged sicko creep.

Ryan won the "date" with Megan on the last episode shown. He was the one who took her in a fancy car to the fancy restaurant, where they sat grinning at each other. He made the comment "She's hot, I'm hot".

Megan made a smart decision when she didn't choose him. According to Fox News, she made a comment at some point during their date about feeling like he was manipulating her and the psychologist that they were talking to about the murder said that she was exactly right - that that's the type of man he was.
