Who was at MNSSHP on 10/6?!?

Hellooooooo DISboards! Dh and I have returned from our fabulous honeymoon trip to WDW. A quick shout out to Maleficent's Malice and Tinkerbellz (fellow DIS'ers we met during MNSSHP)! I'm looking to see if anyone was at MNSSHP on 10/6 and saw the second parade. You see DH and I were IN the parade!! We were chosen to be the Grand Marshall's and got to ride in the antique car in the front of the parade (we were dressed as Mouseketeers "Annette" and "Cubby"). So I was wondering if any of you might have photos of us from the parade that you might be able to share with us.

We weren't there, but DH and I were going to be mouseketeers as well, but DH backed out about the same time I had trouble finding red shorts.

Glad to hear you got to be in the parade and had a good trip.

That is so magical. Love the photo too. I think it is so neat when Disers are chosen, then another Diser has the photo.

OMG!! UofL that's US!!! What a terrific photo! We were so excited to be in the parade. In fact, our tour guide Mark from the KTTK tour we did earlier in the day was the one who chose us. When I told him what we were wearing to the party that night he actually HUNTED US DOWN at dinner at LTT to ask us to join the parade!

I was a little bummed because I thought I was going to miss seeing the headless horseman. My sister raved about that from hwe October trip. Well as Dh and I are sitting in the car "backstage" I turned around and THERE he is! The horse (turns out his name is IKE and he's a sweetheart) was right next to me practically snorting down my neck! He was massive. I then commented to our driver that it must be hard for the rider to see where he's going (through the costume in the dark) and she said "well he IS headless...duh!"

They were awesome!

Omigod! I saw you! I didn't take any pics, but I definately remember thinking you were a cute couple.

In fact...I think you saw me too. I was with a family (friends of mine) with a royalty theme- I was in a Cinderella gown, the father was in an awesome king costume with a purple cape, the mother was a jester, and their little girl was in a Cinderella bride dress. I'm almost certain you acknowledged us!

OMG we saw you too!!!! as a matter of fact we were standing only a few feet down from where that photo was taken......I was so close to other disers and missed it!!!!

The crew and I saw you as well. We also met AngieBelle and her lovely friends. We were dressed up as Prince Charming, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Captain Jack Sparrow, Mickey, Minnie, Simba, Spiderman, and Spiderman. Not a misprint there...we had 2. I was just glad it stopped raining. Early on, it looked like it has set in for the evening.

OMG!! LOL that was awesome!! I saw you too!! And I even remember seeing GoffygirlnpricessV!!! We were supposed to be at the OCt 2 party, but our tix got screwed up, and were actually for Sept 30th!! We didnt discover that until AFTER we were all in costume for the party on the second. Luckily Ryan at GR at the Magic kingdom relented and excahnged our tix for the party on the 6th. Which we didnt get back in costume and makeup because it was so humid and hot! So we wore our Mickey bride and groom ears instead, and wore glow in the dark makeup. Didnt care much for the rainy day parade at 8 though, but loved boo to you!!

I wish I was still there!!

We were there and saw you also! It's funny, I actually had to explain to DH what you guys were dressed up as, he has no clue .. I'm so glad the weather held out, we had so much fun, I'm so glad we decided to go!!

We were there...sad to say I was in the popcorn line as you drove by, so I missed you! Loved the parade though, it was great! My son was on the rope line, saw the Haunted Mansion guys coming and stepped back. Once they did their dance (great, by the way) he thought the coast was clear, stepped back up and one of the ghost guys must have seen it all b/c he calmly stepped backwards and right into DS's face! He was scared silly! It was funny though.

I'll say it again, loved the parade, music and all!

My family was at the party too. I totally remember seeing you in the parade. That's a great shot of you and your new husband. I believe the fellow in the orange shirt is the happy little guy who kept running up and down the street clapping and dancing. My family of 16 was dressed as dalmatians (9 males) and Cruellas (7 females). We sat in front of the Hall of Presidents for the second parade.

We saw you, too !! When I read this thread I ran for my video camera - but I was taping my adorable DGrD clapping and waving in her stroller while you were going by! I noticed you because we had seen you earlier that night - either at LTT or getting pics at HOP, don't remember which, and commented on how cute your costumes were ! I was dressed as a sorcerer in cape and tall hat (which I took off for the parade and fireworks so I didn't block the view of those behind me - it was really tall) - DNeph(8) was Peter Pan, DGrD (2) was Tink, DSis was Tiger lilly and the big kids all had black tees for the party that I made from the wonderful designs being shared here on the DIS!! We also ran into several DISers, but I still have 'vacation brain' and can't remember names - it was fun to say 'hello'!! I'm so glad you didn't miss the Headless Horseman - he was awesome!!

Hi - we were at that party as well and I since my dd's and I did Mickey Mouse Club last year we definately noticed you! This year we were pirates and had another great time at the party. Congrats to you two, sounds like fun!

Didn't see you in the parade but saw you by Thunder Railroad. I think "Cubby" had a alien green mickey head in his lanyard -- almost stopped and said "Hi" but you seemed to be in a hurry.
