Good for your daughter. If you can manage something as big a Suburban, everything else comes easy.My DW is afraid to even drive my Suburban at all, much less when towing.
Now my DD, on the other hand, likes sitting up high driving the Suburban. It appeals to her alpha-female side.![]()
My DW is the same way as yours. Doesn't like even thinking about driving the truck. I asked her what she would do if something happened to me while we were out camping. She said she would leave everything where it was and maybe pay someone to get it home.
When my DS had his driving permit, he did most of his driving in his Miata or my DW's Nissan Rogue. He said driving the truck would be "easy". I laughed. Next time out, I made him drive the truck. And made sure he understood how he had to turn and not hit the fender flares on anything, all without swinging into oncoming traffic.
He changed his tune after that. He's almost 18 now, but still hasn't driven the truck since then.
