My DM and I are going down in Sept to check out the whole DVC experience. We want to make an appointment to talk to someone about it. Who should I call? I would like to make it before we go bacuase we have a specific day and time of day that we want to meet. Thanks.

If it were me, and if the time that I wanted wasn't on the very first day we were there, I would just wait and make an appointment with the salesperson at the resort I was staying at.

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE (you get the idea) our guy, Randy Kruger has been there since the start, there is no question that man can't answer and just an all around great guy!! Good luck!!:goodvibes

As soon as I read the title all I could think of was either "ghostbusters" or "the A-team"

However it is 2AM in NY and i should really goto bed

We had Randy at the beginning, but got switched to someone else before we actually purchased. I REALLY wish he was still our guide. We have had 4-5 different guides over the years. Our current one is almost as good as Randy, but I miss Randy too.

Just a word of recommendation for our guide, Tim Grabman (in case Randy isn't available at the time you want, or just because we totally love Tim!)...

He's very, very good at explaining how DVC works--in retrospect, there's not a single "surprise issue" (like the fact that DVC inventory is separate from CRO inventory, for example; or how and when to use wait lists most effectively) that he didn't talk to us about during our first visit. There was absolutely no pressure from him to buy--then or w/my subsequent 3 add-on's. And, he bends over backwards to make "the process" as easy for the buyer as humanly possible. In short, I love him as much as the previous posters love Randy!

There are many happy buyers here who swear by their guides...I'm sure you'll get lots of recommendations...having dealt only with Tim, I can't say he's better than the other good ones. I can only tell you that he's been "perfect" (literally!) with us...never failed to promptly return a call; never failed to include important information; never was anything but gracious about questions (even on information he'd already conveyed.)

Good luck!

You can call the sales center at 1-800-800-9100 and make arrangements for the day and time you'd like ... or you can just make a reservation at any of the DVC kiosks located in every WDW resort and Theme Park.

If you require a specific day/time I wouldn't worry too much about requesting a specific DVC guide - since they might not be available at that exact time - but you can certainly take the tour at a time convenient for you.
