In the past, I've seen people grocery shopping with handheld adding machines but I've never seen them in stores. Does anyone know if they still sell them and if so, where can I get one?

TIA

Do you mean a calculator? Those are sold at grocery stores, office supply places, the dollar tree .... all over. Or a pencil and scrap of paper works well, too.

I have a calculator but I've seen women with a different sort of adding machine. Maybe they don't make them anymore.

You can find EVERYTHING on ebay. :goodvibes

Only problem I see is with todays prices, and its ability to only go up to $9.99, its not really useful.
Get a calculator. :)
Or an abacus. ROFL

Thanks for the help, everyone. Making someone should start making and marketing a more modern version. The problem I have with calculators is that, fo me, they take two hands or one hand and one non-slip even surface. Also, you're more like to hit the wrong button.

I used to watch women shopping with one hand and clicking away on that thing using their thumbs.
