Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

:rotfl2:What a funny story! All of the choking pictures are just hilarious. What a magical night to get rewarded for having fun! Aw, and you big kids got to go ride some rides together!:goodvibes Then to go see Fantasmic.:cloud9: That night is one to remember forever.

A question on Fantasmic? We always go to the early one because you are seated while waiting. By that I mean we will get there about an hour early, with snacks, and wait in the stadium. I always thought that if you waited until the last show that you would need to line up outside the theatre and wait for the first show to let out. Seemed to work out for you, but I am just wondering how long you waited to be let in to the theatre and how long you waited total for the show to start? Lots of questions. I am now debating which showing to choose for our upcoming trip.

Tell you hubby that he is not by himself on the collecting odd items. I do too. I have that kind of stuff too. My latest collectible were the little wax paper wrapper things that you hold on to when you are getting a roll or something from the sweet counter at the CBR.

Ya'll made me laugh so much! My neighbor went in September and brought me back a gift of antenna balls and a huge stack of the napkins and I just loved that she thought to include napkins. I've been putting them in my kids lunch and they think it's the coolest thing!

How the heck did I get so far behind?

I am loving the choking pictures. How fun. Your mamma looks like she is so much fun. I want to be part of your family.

I'll tell you a little secret. I have had a few dreams about you and your family over the last few months. I'm alwsy going to Disney, but I am with your family and Lacy is my best friend. I have no idea why. LOL! I guess she looks fun and crazy like I was at her age.

GREAT updates!!!! I love the Fantasmic video & the photos of John sleeping are too funny. The choking photos are awesome, too. I can't believe you went on Tower of Terror twice in a row!!!

I got behind again I hope I remember everything I wanted to comment on.

We went to Sci Fi In Oct. and River lost his first tooth while he was eating there! It was very exciting:laughing: I love the atmosphere there but I don't like the food.

I like the picture of mama choking you I love the look on your face. Thats so cool the cms gave you all fast passes just for being your silly selves!

Your Fantasmic pictures turned out a lot better than mine. I haven't put my pics on photo bucket yet and now I here its more complicated.

I collect napkins too and put them in River's lunch box just to bring a little of the vacation home with us:goodvibes

Love the updates! Sounds like for a day where you had no plan you all had a fantastic time! DHS is my favorite park at Disney, I know lots of people don't like it though. Kinda wish they would make a new Muppet Vision completely. It is kinda played out IMO. They seem to change everything else in the park, but Muppet Vision always stays the same....I wonder what Walt would think of that??

I love the choking photos! Goofing around like that definitely makes time fly so much better!

You are right. Even though I felt like we just wandered all day long, we did get to do some really cool things.

I, too, wish they would add something new to Muppetvision besides just hte ending.

Your progression of choking pictures is hilarious!:lmao: I can totally see why the Castmembers were entertained! I think I espcially love the one of Mama and Hunter are clowning it up!

Your DH is too funny. I was rolling when I was scrolling through the mock sleeping pictures!:rotfl:

I like the one with Mama and Hunter too. I think I'm going to print the pictures for one of Mama's Christmas presents.

Hi Lisa! Great updates! Don't you just love Fantasmic?!! It nevet gets old! I just hate the waiting! LOL! It was great of those castmembers to give you fastpasses! One of the best parts about Disney are the great CMs! They always know how to make it extra magical for you! Can't wait to read more!!!

Fantasmic never ever gets old and we have only missed it once in all of our 15 trips to Disney.

I got a couple of my disney shivers while watching fantasmic since we didnt see it last time. I've only seen it once.

Oh you've got to see Fantasmic again. The second time around, you'll see things that you totally didn't see the first go round.

If there are two shows in one night, we always choose to go to the second show. We didn't have to get in line so very early like when you go to the first show. I can't remember how far ahead of time we got in line but it wasn't really really early....I'm thinking about 40 minutes or so and then they were already letting people in so we didn't have to stand in line a long tmie.

Awww, that was sweet of your neighbor and a great idea.

Girl, I'm behind in all of my subscriptions. Mama was having a great time with the choking pictures.

I dream about some of my Dis friends sometimes too. I guess I have Disney and the Disboards on my mind even when I sleep.

I couldn't believe I went on the Tower of Terror twice either! The first time, I tucked my necklace (it was really long) underneath the lapbelt and it broke when we started dropping. Should have clued me in that I didn't need to get on a second time.

I got behind again I hope I remember everything I wanted to comment on.

I remember you saying that River had lost a tooth but I didn't remember it being at the Sci-Fi. The food is just okay but, like you said, the atmosphere is great.

Mama looked so happy in the pictures despite the fact that we were all choking the heck out of each other.

I've finally gotten a little better with Photobucket. I'm not good with changes and it took me a while to learn the new site. I hope you'll start a trip report 'cause I want to see how much fun ya'll had.

When I left off, we were waiting around the Hollywood Hills Theater while the crowds exited. After taking John's "sleeping" pictures, we looked around and saw that most everybody had left. So, we started making our way out too. Mama and Hunter were in front of John and I and seeing the two of them pal around made me smile. Here's a picture of Mama doing a little dance with Hunter. It looks like she's a little old woman who can barely get around but she was, in fact, doing a bouncy dance.

I don't know if you can tell it or not but there were very few people walking in front of us....maybe a dozen or so. It was well worth sitting down for a little while longer to let everybody get ahead of us.

I knew that there was no way I'd make it back to the resort without making a pit stop first. So far, every evening that we had left the parks, the buses had been downright COLD! Not just a little bit cold but COLD! Having to tinkle and freezing cold do not mix. Even though I had to tinkle pretty bad, I still had my Dis trip report on my mind and I stopped to take a picture of a garbage can.

And a not-so-good picture down the street:

100_3387.jpg

***Shoot! Boss is calling me. Be back in a bit....hopefully.

Okay, crisis fixed. Let's get back to the trip report:

We came to the bathroom and I thought these signs painted on the wall outside were cute:

100_3390.jpg

After the pit stop, we continued on to the front of the park. Again, there were very few people. Along the way, I couldn't help myself and we popped into a store or two. Hunter said he was so tired he could hardly stay awake:

100_3391.jpg

Looks like he takes after his daddy and can fall asleep anywhere!:rotfl:

More pictures:

100_3392.jpg

I think these variations of the Mickey ears are too cute:

100_3393.jpg

We came across this coin operated horse and I couldn't resist the photo opportunity:

100_3395.jpg

100_3396.jpg

We tried our best to talk Mama into getting up on the pony but, no matter how hard we pleaded with her, it was a no-go. John even offered to push her up on the horse. Come to think about it, that was when she emphatically said "no way".:lmao:

But, she did stop and pose for pictures near the truck at the front of the park:

100_3397.jpg

100_3398.jpg

We walked out to the bus stop and were happy to see that very few people were waiting in line. It was just one family and then us. I think two or three other people joined us the line. Soon, a bus was pulling up and in no time at all, we were all loaded up and dropped off at the resort.

So, that was our first experience with Star Wars Weekends. While I had a good time that day, I know that I should have done more research on how the whole thing worked. Next time, we will definitely have something unique for the Star Wars actors/performers/whatever they are called people to autograph. And, I don't want to just wander all around the park again. That just wore me out completely.

**Up next: A whole lotta nothing!

I love those last few of John...sleeping on the horse and on the truck. :rotfl2:

Great update. What a super day!!! It's great that everyone is still goofing around at the end of a long day. Are you planning on braving SWW next year or sometime in the future?

May the force be with you!

I love the picture of John on the horse! Too bad you couldn't get mama on the horse!
And poor Hunter being tired & still having to shop

You guys just have so much fun! I love reading about it and seeing your pictures! :goodvibes

Great updates!

Great Update!! So which park is next.....do we stay on the same park schedule...LOL!!

Thanks for the advice on the ticker...maybe mine is gone now!

I just love seeing the parks at night. They are all so beautiful lit up. Seems like you had a very good day considering it was a SWW day.:scared1: Poor Hunter being so exhausted he felt like he could just fall asleep standing up, good thing you were able to get a bus out quickly.;) Silly John, he is such a sport about his napping in odd places.

The photos of John sleeping on the horse and sleeping standing up at the truck made me laugh out loud! Hopefully nobody heard me giggling here at work...:lmao:

Loved the choking photos, too - especially the one of John choking you and your tongue sticking out. Now that's the way to do Disney - having fun as a family and not caring what other folks might think of you! :thumbsup2

Love the updates!!!!:thumbsup2 Somehow...I got behind again..so sorry.:flower3:

Those choking pictures are too funny!!! So cool that you got some fastpasses because of it!!!:thumbsup2

Fantasmic is the best!!! We fell in love with the show when we saw it in April! You got some fantastic pictures!!:goodvibes

:lmao: I laughed out loud at those pictures of John sleeping on the truck and the horse.

What a great day you all had!:goodvibes

We looked for that horse because River saw a picture of Hunter sitting on it in your last tr and he said "Can we do that please please please!" and I still haven't found it. I don't even recognize the store window your in front of. I will be on a mission to find it in June!

That one picture of Mama had me thinking "Oh my goodness, they wore her out and how is she going to make it all the way back to the room!"

:lmao::lmao:

Glad to know she was just playing around.

One of these trips, we are going to have to just sit and wait out the crowds. We never do. We always get into that mass of people and it's miserable. You are so smart!

Is it wrong that I've never noticed that horse before? I'm trying to picture it and I really don't think I've ever noticed it.
