Who is waiting for a public code??

I just got a call back from my clueless TAgency. Now he's saying that it's pricing higher because since I already have park hopper tickets I would only be getting water park for free. And the tickets are being offered for 3 days and you have to add on the extra days!!!

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!! I seriously don't think he knows what he's talking about either.

I explained to him that I would now only pay for base ticket and be upgraded to hopper and water.

OMG!!!! I'm going to have a breakdown at any moment!! I can pretty much say that I'm not getting this offer because it's too confusing for them and they're probably just going to say it's not available or it's pricing higher.

I don't want to cancel with them now because I'm afraid I won't get a room and everything will be messed up. But from now on I'm getting a Disney specialist TA or going through Disney themselves.

I just called my AAA TA and left a message to see if we can apply this to our mid May trip. It would be great for us to swim a day but I really do not understand how it would work.

We bought 1 day non-hoppers in order to get the meal plan. So would that be good for one day of swimming or 1 day at the parks or would we need to buy more days of passes?

I'll let you all know when we get an answer.

I just called and used the code for free hopper and water park YVH had to move from POFQ to POR but that's ok to save 300.00 I would love another code. I asked how many days you can use the code for and she told me 8 days. Also asked if a code comes out and the trip is paid can it still be applied and she said yes.

I just applied this code to my package. We saved $140...not alot but every little bit helps. We only had the PH option on our tickets...and planned to use an old ticket for our water park visit. Now we have water parks and Disney Quest for free. This will give us a chance to try DQ.

For Disney Quest, obviously that gets you in the door, but once inside how muc his everything? I'm thinking of a waterpark if this occurs for our trip, what water park is the best?

I'm in the same boat as you. I also bought the 1 day base pass. Let me know if it works for you.

My TA called me back and said she has no AAA codes at this point. I gave her the YVH and she said that is a VISA only code. Others here say they have had success using it as a public code so who knows.

I just wrote her and gave her the other code of YVA and I will see if that does us any good.

She is pretty good and on top of things so I am certain if there is a way to get the upgrade to hoppers and the water parks that she will figure it out and apply to our reservation.

Let me know if you have any luck and I will update you when I here something back.

I hope it's free once I'm in the door. This will be our first visit to DQ. As far as water parks, we prefer BB, but are going to try TL this trip because we want to ride the new water coaster.

Honestly, if I were you, I would contact Dreams Unlimited right now with your dates. If it's available with the code, book with them. Then go ahead and cancel your package with this other clueless travel agent. It's not worth the hassle. It can't hurt to ask DU to look into availability for you. You never know, your hotel & dates may still be available at the discount rate. I certainly wouldn't give up now without first checking with DU.

I called Disney myself a little while ago because I got tired of waiting. There aren't any discounted packages left for my resort. Figures!! I wonder if there were any this morning.

There's a public code out for travel dates 4/23 to 6/3 (I think that's the ending date). The codes are listing on mousesavers dot com. You can read about what you get and the codes are listed there.

It's also on the Disney website under specials.

As far as I remember the games are included in the entrance fee. If there were any charges on top of it I don't remember or my DH and I just didn't play those games! We really enjoyed DQ and I am NOT a video game person.
