Who is waiting for a public code??

I don't want to rain on the room-only code parade but after checking Mousesavers there was only a discount code available after April for 10/23-11/23. I think if Disney is going to do anything it's going to be some kind of package discount.

I too am waiting for a Public code - our trip starts April 23rd but we are not AP holders. I thought I had also read a post on these boards about a package code (upgrades to Park Hopper tickets for free) with a booking window starting Feb. 23rd but haven't heard any more on it. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

We're going June 19-25. Since we're on a package w/ dining plan, AP won't work. I think DH would kill me if I canceled stuff and started over.

At least we booked through AAA, so we got that discount.

I'm so excited, we're staying at CR--first time at a deluxe. But, there are 5 of us and now that the baby is 4, we really don't have much choice. I don't feel comfortable doing 2 rooms at a value (my older 2 kids are 11 & 13).

I love CR! It's my favorite resort--not for theme, but for location. The rooms are big, with a nice couch that converts to a comfortable twin bed.

However, compared to most of you on this thread, I have a lot of time in the world. I'm not going till Aug. 11, but I'm so antsy. LOL! I'll just have to book my airline tickets to get my Disney "fix." After much debate at home, we have decided not to use the educational discount for Dolphin/Swan and are going back to our original plan of going with POP.

Last time (Oct. 2004), we got the 5 + 1, but it ended up being a 7 + 2 deal or something like that (two free days of passes and two free nights at ASMovies). I don't think that deal was good in August, though, but that would be sooooooo nice. LOL! I won't hold my breath, though.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. My mom has been waiting for a discount. She leaves in 3 weeks and nothing. Full price package.

I just don't see it happening as everything is booked, no need to discount. But it would be nice for a last minute treat.

Looks like AAA is the way to go for a discount.

Don't want to discourage anyone, but we the package came out this past February which was a MYW package with the Hopper/water park upgrade. We could not apply that to the AAA package. One of the recomended AAA ladies on the boards said its one or the other. I sure hope it is different for you guys! Good luck!

I too am hoping for a general code to come out tommorrow, 2/23. I'd like to try to call tonight, but DH is knocking out a wall in the kitchen and my purse is on the other side. Do you think that we'll be able to apply any future codes with AAA? I have POR room-only booked for 5-13 to 5-19 with AAA now. I haven't purchased tickets yet, so this possible upcoming package sounds promising...Do I dare hope?

I'm with you!!! I don't think it's going to happen though. I HATE to be negative but it seems so booked for our time in June. Contemporary is completely booked and WL doesn't have many rooms left either. Every time I call to check other hotels the CM's keep saying "it's so crowded during your stay" that doesn't give me much hope, but I NEED THEM!!!!

Don't give up hope. I thought that last year and then got POFQ for $79 a night!
