Who is the nicest TV star's you have met and who are the not so nice?

I forgot that I know quite a few people who have met Alan Rickman and Adam Lambert and both of them have given universally positive impressions.

Oh, Kenley who was on Project Runway a couple of years ago? Remember her? I've been told by someone who worked on the show that she was exactly the way she was portrayed (I know sometimes people are just edited to look bad or good, but she was exactly as shown).

Tim Gunn has said that she was far far worse than what they showed on PR. (If you like fashion gossip, his book is great fun. Particularly his descriptions of Anna Wintour.)

Shame :sad2:... I remember Tim really letting her HAVE it, too. He was my HERO that night! :worship:

And if Tim Gunn is willing to publicly slam you, you must be really bad. :sad2:

I'm ashamed to say. Does Ron Jeremy count? My husband worked as a director of sales at a Hilton in Kansas City Mo. We just moved to the city so we were staying in a suite until we found a house. He worked all day, and I stayed with our 3 kids then 1yr, 5, and 8. You would think I had it made at a Hilton, but taking care of 3 kids in one suite was alot of work. So I basically stayed in sweats with baby food on me all day and my hair in a pony.

One Friday night, I was putting the baby down, and my hubby called telling me to bring the camera and get downstairs to the lobby ASAP. I knew Harry Connick Jr was there, his tour bus was outside, so I knew I was gonna meet him. I scrambled, told the kids to watch a movie and mama would be right back, I grabbed my camera and rushed down to meet Harry. I get off the elevator, CROWDS of people flashes EVERYWHERE. I found my hubby, he was so excited he said, "Baby, you are not gonna believe who I just met, he's dying to meet you" His assistant took my camera to get a pic. Then I saw who he was talking about. RON JEREMY THE PORN STAR!!!!! He grabbed me and gave me a huge sweaty hug and a BIG kiss on the cheek. Complimented my husband on his choice in women, then with me in the middle, a pic was made. My hubby to the left of me grinning like an idiot and the porn star to the right looking totally drunk. My hubby grabbed the camera, looked at it and said, "Oh, Babe, we are getting so many copies of this pic!" I wanted to kill him. I went up stairs and washed my face and changed clothes. EWWWWWWWW!!!!!

I met Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) from Young and The Restless years ago. He was super sweet and very funny. I met Katie Holmes and Greg Rikkart from Dawson's Creek. Greg is now on Y&R so it was fun getting to know him. He was a sweetheart but Katie Holmes was a total ice queen, she was very snobby. Didn't like her at all.

I was working at a front desk of a hotel back in the 90's and Corbin Bernson (LA Law and Psych) walked in wanting a room. He paid cash, I gave him directions to a restaurant and he tipped me a $20

My favorite soap star called me on Wednesday. Michael Muhney (Adam Newman from Y&R) we spoke for 20 minutes, he's awesome and funny, totally made my week!

I would KILL my DH if he did that!! Harry is the only celebrity I would really care to meet, that would have broken my heart! :scared1:

I've met Bob Seger, he was nice enough. My DH has met Kid Rock, he was really nice. My DH also met Tiffany and when he told her I was "like her biggest fan when I was in 8th grade" she bought him a drink and took a pic with him so he could send it to me :)

Not so nice - Tom Brady, he had a big head even in college and had no reason to

Ok This celeb is going straight to heaven for what he did for a friend of mine!!! Tony Orlando! I worked with a woman who had Autism and she would repeat things daily, but she would say every single day "I like Tony Orlando and Dawn!" or "Oh don't you just love Tony Orlando?" and we would have fun singing his songs, "Tie a Yellow Ribbon" and "Knock Three Times" which was her favorite!

Well we arranged to take her and the rest of the group home she lived in to Branson to see Tony Orlando''s show back in the early 90's and wrote to him about our friend to see if maybe we could get her an autograph or something.. well... he was soooo excellent to her! We were soooo surprised! We got tickets and were heading to our seats, and someone who worked at the theater sat us in a different spot, near a stage that jutted out into the middle of the crowd.. we didn't know why but didn't question it. Then Tony Orlando came out and sang and my friend was soooo excited, that made her lifetime! He then came over to where she was sitting and told the crowd "I have a wonderful friend who I didn't know about that has been my friend for a long time!" he introduced her to the crowd and then he serenaded her!!!!!! He sang just to her, asked her to dance and then kissed her on her cheek and gave her a big hug! He then turned off his mic for a second and told me to be sure to get her backstage after the show!

Once we were backstage he gave her a goody bag with things in it, signed autographs, took as many pictures as we wanted.. he was soooo very nice! He told her she was his good friend and that he loved her.. he was just excellent! Now twenty years later she still talks about how Tony Orlando sang just to her and kissed her on the cheek! He didn't have to be so kind, but he went out of his way to be just wonderful to her!

Not nice.. Baseball pitcher Derek Lowe.. grew up with him.. total jerk from the start!

Nicest - Richard Thomas (AKA Johnboy Walton), Morley Safer and Clint Eastwood.

Worst and rudest - Marlo Thomas, Julie Roberts and Renee Zellweger.

Whaaaaat? You met Alan Rickman? You are so, so, so lucky...OMG he's wonderful!:love:

and I'm glad he's nice...it's like icing on the cake:lmao:

He was doing a play in Brooklyn with Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter/True Blood) and my friend and I went. We had heard he almost always comes to the stage door after he does a show so after the play ended we headed over to see if that was true. We waited maybe 3 minutes and there he was! Very very sweet, posed for pictures with everyone who wanted one, signed playbills/tickets, took the time to talk to everyone, made jokes. It was great. So if you ever get the opportunity to see him do stage work, there's your chance!

I would take the opportunity to see that man read the dictionary much less see him on stage.:rotfl: So jealous!

What a great story! Loved it!

It is great to read so many positives about AR!

PS: I also trusted ... ha-ha! Even license plate of "SEVERUS"

A lot of movies being filmed here in NM lately and we've met quite a few stars.

When they filmed the remake of The Longest Yard, we got to see one of the shoots and meet a lot of the stars. Adam Sandler was one of the nicest guys we met. During takes, he would come over and talk, sign autographs even though he dislocated his arm the day we met him. Allen Covert was also the same way. D'BIL was an extra in the movie and even got to bowl with Adam Sandler and a lot of the cast. After the shoot, most of the cast came to sign autographs, talk to the fans and take pictures. The coolest ones to meet (besides Adam & Allen) were: Michael Irvin & Bill Goldberg. They really went out of their way to sign autographs and take pictures, especially for the kids.

Other actors I've got to meet on movies filming here: Kevin Costner. Awesome guy. Kelsey Grammar another cool guy. Dennis Hopper - so so. He would sign autographs and stuff, but didn't look like he really wanted to. Arnold Schwarzenegger total A$$. Kids asked for his autograph and he just blew them off. Same with his then wife Maria Shriver.

Although I never met him, my aunt did meet Robin Williams in Las Vegas. He sat down and played some blackjack at the table she was playing at. She said he was funny and great person. He talked to everyone, told jokes and had them all laughing for about the 1/2 hour or so he played. When he got up to leave, tossed everyone playing there a $100 chip and wished them all good luck.

I work security for one of our local event centers, so I've also met quite a few singers and comedians. The coolest people I've met here have been Randy Travis, Chris Young and Michael Buble.

Worst: George Lopez. He used to be cool when he first started out, but got a big head the more popular he became. Now he's a total you know what.

I worked with Caroline Rhea when we were both teenagers. She would have been about 18 or 19, and had come to the my city to go to university. She helped me get an apartment in her building...her neighbours needed a new roommate. Very nice girl, lot and lots of fun, and obviously very funny since she grew up to be a stand up comedian.

A couple of years ago I met Henry Winkler at the airport. He had forgotten his glasses and asked me to help him by reading something on his ticket for him. I immediately called my husband and said "I was helpful to the Fonz!!". Very sweet man.

Actually, I've met lots of band members from various bands at the airport; most of the guys from Lonestar, Cake, Styx, and Lawrence Gowan. I've met several professional hockey players also, most from the Ottawa Senators, naturally. The saddest day was when they were flying out after having been home for the funeral of a team mate's teenage daughter. The guys were devastated.

I would KILL my DH if he did that!! Harry is the only celebrity I would really care to meet, that would have broken my heart! :scared1:

Not so nice - Tom Brady, he had a big head even in college and had no reason to

After my DS came up to the room, I told him I thought I was gonna meet Harry. He said, "Babe, Harry ALWAYS sleeps in his tour bus" :headache:

I forgot I sat across from a football star in college! Philip Rivers (QB for the Chargers) went to NC State, and we were there the same years. During a philosophy test, he was one of the last to arrive and his desk was in the front of the room and faced mine. I remember thinking how ugly his shoes were, but figuring that if your feet are that big, your shoe choices are probably limited.

That said, I do believe there had to be some special treatment going on. I am a fast test taker. This one was all essay, which I tend to be especially quick with. I had written for a while and took a quick restroom break. I was literally at my half-way point. I came back, and he was gone. There is NO way he could have finished that quickly. He had to have written "My name is Philip Rivers" and then doodled for a while, then left. I was maybe 3rd (other than him) to finish and I bet I was there at least another hour. The other 50+ students were still going.

Tom Hanks = nice guy

Some of the other stars I've met might not have been super nice, but some of them get nervous so I'll not name names not knowing what was going on at the time of our meeting.
