Who is the most obscure Disney character that you have met in the Parks?

Her name is Darby. She has regular meet and greets at Pooh's Playful Spot along with Tigger and Pooh.

Darby?!! I would have never know that - but, yes, that is where we saw her!

Back in the 90s, I met Gadget from Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers a couple of times at MK. In more recent years, some of the more obscure ones I've seen are Launchpad McQuack, Brer Rabbit, and Little John.

I didn't have any obscure encounters to report but I'm so glad I read this thread. We were talking about Darby just this morning, wondering if she would be there for our August vacation! I admit she's no Christopher Robin but the show is very cute.

Walrus from Alice in Wonderland ('07 mnsshp)
Tarzan and Jane ('07 mnsshp)

"Nemo" - the robotic thing if you can call it a character a few years back

We have tons of character pics but these are what I'd consider the rarest from our trips.

We met Friar Tuck and the Sherriff of Nottingham during our first trip, 2002. Haven't seen them since.

Saw Hercules and Phil at MGM in 2003.

Launchpad McQuack in 2004, loved seeing him. My little bro (mind you he's 28 now!) used to watch Ducktales every day after school...................

The rarest characters we saw on our last visit was Cinderella's step sisters and step-mother. I had never seen them before. We came out of the line in the toontown tent and they were there in the hallway.

A few have mentioned seeing Jane (from Tarzan) - we saw her also, last year - right inside the IG at Epcot.

We met Friar Tuck this past summer outside Animal Kingdom along with Stanley & his goldfish.
We also met Frozone (from Incredibles) at MGM - poor guy was up there all alone with no one around!

We saw Clarabell this past year in the Magic Kingdom parade.

The ones that I haven't been able to find is the Fairy Godmother and Maleficent. Has anyone seen them anywhere around the parks??

During my Oct 07 trip the fairy god mother was out and about around the castle. The only place I can think about seeing Maleficent is at MNSSHP after the Villians show.

One year ('99 maybe?) I saw Scrooge Mcduck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie and Launchpad.
It was great they were all right outside of the Toontown Fair Tent.

I have no idea who or almost what these are supose to be. I've never seen them posted on here in pics so are they rare??? We have haven't been back to AK since so i'm not sure. It was taken in march '04.

I have seen the fairy god mother a couple of times in the Castle. She if often waiting in the holding area while they call your name for the Cinderella Breakfast.

Those are a pair of carnotauruses (carnotaurusi?) from the Dinosaur attraction. They're the "villains" of the ride:

I could be wrong, but I don't think they make appearances anymore.

For me it would probably be Frozone, Prince Charming, Maleficent and The Evil Queen, oh yeah, and Tarzan and Jane. I have pictures I'll try to post later.

I'm not sure it's so rare due to the pirate training thing they now offer, but we were able to see Jack Sparrow last September. He was GOOOOOD too!
Dead on!!! The character interaction was the best I've experienced in ages.

Tweedle Dee and Dum are often at the teacups with the Mad Hatter.

My DD had her picture with them too! Not together though, like your pic. I think it was April 2004 when we saw them in Dino-Rama.
They don't make appearances anymore.

When we saw them, DD was waiting patiently in line and people kept rushing up and past her. The handler saw what was happening and took DD personally up to the green dinosaur and made sure she had several minutes with her. I thought the handler was great for doing that.

Two years ago in World Showcase near France/Morocco I guess I was standing there kind of scowling because a character who was walking by stopped, turned around, stood in front of me and scowled back until I laughed - then he gave me a big hug and walked on.

But I have no clue who he was!!! Big dark animal, maybe a cat, with a crown. I thought it was Prince John, but he didn't look like the picture on Meeko's site. Anyone know who he was? He made my day - but it happened so fast I couldn't get a picture.
