sameWe are having the same issue
Yes. I had to call and book with a 1.5 hour wait. CM said it is an issue and they are getting lots of calls. So your choice is call or wait for it to be fixed.Anyone else having trouble getting past 'Campsite Equipment' on trying to checkout online?
I finally got through on the phone earlier and was able to snag 10/29/2026-11/02/2026 , the only site category left was premium meadows.
Also booked 2/7/26-2/14/26, premium category. Obviously the CMs can get enter the equipment information section
Most surprising was the even $200 a reservation deposit amount. Over the phone I’m not exactly sure of the cost per night. But two reservations, different categories, different times of the year. Both deposits were exactly $200.00
Why is Disney reducing the number of campers from 10 to 8 at the camp sites in 2026?
I was able to book our October 2026 vacation with the assistance of a castmember via the phone. The wait was only 15 minutes around noon. The interesting part is that I too had to pay a $200 deposit. And it was for room rate only. The explanation I was given was that the Fort reservations were acting up all morning, the system wasn’t giving a down payment amount. The castmember said if she charged too little the reservation would be eventually cancelled. She said the deposit should be around $173, but she couldn’t tell me for sure. We agreed $200 was too much, but I didn’t want to lose the reservation.
Ohhhhhh. Ok.I actually think that went into effect for 2025 reservations already.
Possibly to capture revenue from 3/4 pairs of adults and kids who would put a trailer and tents on one site (seen it done, I have). Make them rent two campsites I guess. And anticdotally, I've heard that if you are a mom/dad with 7 kids (for a total of 9 people for example), you can STILL all stay on one site together (but you have to call I guess). They aren't trying to bust up a true family - they're trying to cut down on multi-families swarming together on one site.
PS - the example I saw was two families in a trailer, a family in a large tent on the same site, and a dining canopy and outside kitchen to feed all the people/kids. And they brought a deep freeze (or fridge but this size) and dropped it right next to the trailer door where the dining canopy was. Easily more than 10 people were there.

Ohhhhhh. Ok.
You are right @bama_ed , I called back and they did book mine as packages this morning, even though I told them I had all pass holders, needed no tickets. Now I know I need to use the magic words "Room Only" to avoid this in the future.
