The funny thing is, she wants a Birthday Party this year, and she thinks I'm a villan 'cause I have put my foot down on this one!

Our family has been to florida twice. Once we stayed with my parents & once we all camped for a week at the Wilderness Resort but this Jan 2003 we have booked our 1st Disney Cruise.
Leaving Jan 25/03.
I think i'm more excitied then my kids.
Does anyone know the best route to take when driving down during the winter. We heard going to Kingston to cross the border and take hwy 81 would avoid the mountains.

If you are a member of CAA, they will map out the best route to take. It's part of their service.

Also, the article was in City Parent regarding the Cruise.

We are going Jan 1-9. Plane tickets bought and paid for, hotel paid for and we have annual passes!! Can hardly wait!!

Wow, this thread is an old one!!! I was shocked to see I was spending 5 days on site this January coming!

I actually will be heading down in Jan. '05 with my parents and Aunt, Uncle and their 2 girls. We will be offsite this time in a condo...assuming of course my uncle gets off the picket line soon!

If they don't go My ds and I will probably head down for a few nights on site as we are AP holders now!

After spending 2 days at Clearwater Beach, 2 days at Universal Studios, 7-night RCCL cruise, then 3 days at WDW, woohoo!!!

We are going January 29- February 5th.. just got the CAA discount yesterday and we are staying at the Fort Wilderness cabins.. SO excited!!!!!

Heading down Jan. 23-30! Staying at Movies Resort. Can't wait.

I hope they have the Cdn at Par deals this year on hotels and passes!

Just like my little countdown clock says -- Jan. 4-11 @ SSR. It will be DD's first trip to WDW, her 2nd to a Disney park (1st will be DLP in 3 weeks!!!) and our first trip home to DVC. I'm the Disney nut and the travel planner around here -- the tickets are bought (would like to said "paid for" too -- but the VISA bill has yet to arrive.)

Ummmm, Scratch .... I know you're going in October/November, and then I thought again at Christmas ??? And now again in January ??? I think you should have extended your stay 'til Feb 1st, so that you can say you'll be doing Disney Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb How wonderful for you both. Since I make the travel arrangements in the family, I doubt that anyone is surprising me with a trip to Disney for my b-day.

Mary Liz forgot to mention that all her sisters and her Mom are also going to be there. Us four girls are going to walk the half marathon on the 9th.

Debbie, Mom and I are there January 6 to the 11th and NancyK is there from the 6th to the 14th??

My DH and kids are staying home, so I have to plan a trip in April to make up for my trip in January.

Oh the hardships we have to go through.

Let's pray for clear winter weather as we all make our ways south.
