Good morning friends!

Shannon...ten days off. What do you have planned?

Nicole...your dad sounds pretty funny...Disney Army...that sounds like my kind of boot camp. :thumbsup2

Donna...thanks for the lovely breakfast. It was very cold here this morning. I could feel the sun and warm wind while eating!;) I guess I need to get busy with my homework now.:rolleyes1

2x...hope everything goes well at the Dr. :)

Well, I'm back to the usual Monday morning schedule.:laundy: :laundy: Oh and a little...:surfweb: :surfweb:

Hope everyone has a great day...:) :)

Morning, all!

Donna, that looks like a perfect place for a breakfast this morning!

The Golden Globes were cancelled due to the writer's strike.

oh...Duh!

YM, we are going to meet Ash at our property in Gainesville. they are staying there until they can move in to their apartment on Feb 8th. then I will helping Ash move, get settled etc. I am off from Feb4 and go back on Feb 13.( my bday is on the 12th and I knew I would regret it if I went back to work on Monday the 11th. so I took Mon & Tues off.)
after today, I am glad that I have time off in 3weeks! I work with some pretty miserable people and it is hard to keep a happy demeanor when people are so negative! at least I am home for lunch now.
talk to you all later!~

Wait, you have glass in your tub? What happened? Did I miss something? That doesn't sound good!

Oh it wasn't a big deal, but Emma got rambunctious after her bath and knocked over a glass jar of cotton balls and it broke all over the bathroom! I got the big chunks out but I'm a little stumped as to how to get the little teeny pieces out. I'm paranoid about the tiny invisible shards of glass, because I can't really see them in the white tub! And I keep finding more on the floor even after I swept several times. So now I'm afraid to shower - good thing nobody sits too close to me at work! I felt bad because Emma wanted a bath yesterday - she had just had one the day before and didn't really NEED one but she wanted to play - and I told her no becuase the glass was still there. She said, "But I think I might be stinky!"

Ooo horseback riding! Sounds like a really fun place, now I want to go too!

Nicole: I guess if I had to join any army, the Disney Army would be the one for me! I understand being sad about leaving, even if it is for a good reason. I'm sure your time there will fly by and before you know it you'll be crying because it's almost time to come home! Do you think we might be able to meet up while we're there? We are arriving on the 26th in the afternoon and going home on the 1st. The only thing we have scheduled is the GF photos at 11:30am on Tuesday the 29th, so any time other than that if you can meet up with us just let me know! I think you said you don't get your park tickets until later, so maybe we can just do lunch at one of the hotels or something. I'll PM you my phone number in a minute.

Let's pretend he is thanking all those who made his dream possible.....etc:thumbsup2

His hair looks so much prettier than mine - that's just not right!

Shannon: Last time I was at WDW, we were in line at the MK turnstiles and a lady tapped me on the shoulder. She said her DD who was about 11 saw my green Mickey and wanted to tell me something. The girl was too shy to say anything but she Fockered me! :woohoo: I did it back to her and her little face just lit up. The mom had no idea what it was all about but we shared a good little giggle over it. I tried to explain it to Lyzzie but she thought it was "creepy" (her favorite word lately). :confused3 TEN days off - that's great! I didn't realize Ashley was coming down so soon - when are you all going to Gainesville? I wish we could all have a mini-meet, I miss you guys!!

Lizziesmom...take a wet paper towel and wipe the floor down. It will pick up any small pieces. You may have to go over it a couple of times to make sure you have them all.

Just thought I'd do a quick check in while I'm waiting on hold for the stupid people to fix my phone. We have phone service through Comcast and for the most part we never have problems. Right now I can sometimes make calls, but when I dial it will go to dial tone as soon as someone picks up the phone. No one can call me as there is a message saying there is technical issues. I've tried to have the calls forwarded to my cell, but they just get the same message. Of course I am waiting for a several important calls today. :headache: I have been able to receive one call and when I picked it up it immediately hung up on the person. Such a pain!

Nicole...the time sure has flown since you told us your were going. It's going to be hard when you leave home, but once you get there your going to forget all about it and enjoy every minute your there.

Well they just came back on and they can't figure out the problem so they are probally going to have to send someone out. However they don't know how soon they can get someone out. Oh and for my troubles they are issuing me a credit for a weeks worth of service. Gee thanks now I can buy a coffee at Starbucks. :rolleyes1

Well, I'm almost done packing! :cool1: I just need to pack my jeans and I won't do that until next week.

Lesa- I hope you can get your phone fixed soon!

Lyzziesmom- I laughed out loud when you said that girl fockered you!:lmao:

Hey guys!

Mom, how do you have off so soon?? Am I missing something? It looks to me like I still have (exactly!!!!!) 20 days left! Is my counter wrong? Am I hallucinating? :confused3 ;)

Lyzziesmom, I second the wet paper towel. Once when I was little (it was before I was in 2nd grade) my Mom told me when I got home from school to not walk in the kitchen because a glass had broke. Well I didn't listen:rolleyes1 and I ended up getting glass in my foot. For some reason nobody could see anything so they all thought I was making it up (my Grandparents and my Mom:scared: ) After a couple days of crying my Grandpa got out the magnifying glass and saw the glass and was pulling it out with tweezers and I was screaming :scared: :scared: :scared: I'm not sure why I'm telling you this:confused3 Just thought you'd enjoy that nice story:lmao: ;)

Lesa, sorry about the Comcast problems!! Annoying:sad2: As you may (or not) remember I was having problems with my internet for WEEKS a couple months ago. I'm getting Comcast again in Florida because they have such a great deal for cable, telephone and internet for 'new' customers and overall I haven't had too many problems.

Hey Nicole! I'm glad you are getting some progress done with packing. I think we've decided that we are sending most of our stuff down. It isn't too expensive, it is comparable to renting a trailer though but Jeremiah isn't that comfortable driving with it. I got a Target credit card so I guess the things I'm throwing out will be bought when I get home.

Ashley: Your glass-in-the-foot story sounds very familiar! I did the same thing and have memories of screaming and lying face down on the living room rug with my mom sitting on my butt, holding me down so she could get the glass out of my foot with the tweezers. No wonder I'm paranoid about it now! Be careful with that Target credit card! I always tell them NO I don't want one, I spend too much money here as it is. I'm trying to use only one credit card, right now I like my Soutwest card because I get the points toward free flights.

Thanks for the tip about the wet paper towel Lesa! Now why didn't I think of that? I was trying to figure out the best way to sweep the bathtub, and wondering if the glass pieces would go down the drain or just float around. Our drain is the flat kind with all the little holes in it, and nothing seems to go down there - sometimes not even the water.

It's almost time to go home! Well actually, go pick up Girl Scout cookies (finally!) and then go to that quack "relaxation" behavioral pain specialist. Tomorrow morning I go to my regular pain dr. and I'm going to tell them the relax dude is not for me, I'm just not buying it. The whole thing is too "new-age" for me and feels like a huge waste of my time and money. I'm also going to ask for my medical records and see if I can switch pain doctors, I'm getting very frustrated with mine. They keep pushing therapy which I KNOW doesn't work, and when I tell them that they say I'm uncooperative and threated to cut off my prescriptions.

I'll "see" you all later!

Yum, Girl Scout cookies........(I need a drooling smiley) I have not seen ANY sold here since I've moved here. I can't believe it, in Florida it seems like they are constantly selling them outside the grocery store! I am craving some now!!

ooops! I meant 3 weeks from today. I was in a rush this morning!

and for the record, I did look at Ashley's foot. I just didnt see anything!
glass is clear, after all. If she had listened in the first place...:rolleyes1

lyzziesmom, I wish we could do a mini meet! I messed up with the days this morning, it isnt until feb. anyway, ash will have all the pets with her! thats why they are staying in gainesville until their apartment is ready. thats so funny about the little girl and the focker story! I will have to go to home depot before my next wdw trip! I didnt know about those ash told me last night.
well DH is wonderingwhat I am doing! we have to watch a movie or something(usually he works monday night) so ttfn!

Lin - you might see if there's a dive shop at the resort, and if so, see if they offer a snorkeling course. Sometimes it just takes a little one on one time with a good instructor to get over the humps. I mean, mouth-breathing goes totally against human nature. It's a matter of slow, deep breathing - and it helps if you've got equipment that fits properly - a mask that isn't leaking, fins that are comfortable. Plus the first few times swimming with fins they're clumsy and hard to control. It can easily freak a person out. You're in a wonderful place for snorkeling there!
Its actually more the touching fish thing I don't like...fish sort of creep me out, I perfer them dead, fried, breaded and on my plate. Though seeing the turtles in St. Thomas was pretty cool, I'll probably do it once.

Bring...me...thin...mints...and...tagalongs... Why isn't there a drooling smilie?

I don't want to grade!!!! I don't wanna!!!!

I have to put Emma to bed but I just wanted to say that I've already eaten 1/2 a box of Thin Mints! Hey, I had no time to stop for dinner, and got to the quack's office with 10 minutes to spare and a trunk full of cookies.

:tilt: <-------This is me pea green with envy!!!!!

yum.me too! I was at the grocery store tonight and there were no girl scouts! that is so weird. my favorite are the samoas!

well I have to call ash and were going to bed! see ya tomorrow!

ok now Im starved! maybe I will rush to get ready so I can go pick up breakfast! Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning

All this talk of Girl Scout cookies  Mike ordered some a while ago, but we need to go pick them up.

Our microwave blew up this morning. :guilty: Why is it that everything goes wrong at the worst possible time??? :sad2:

Mike and I have talked more and he wants to move to FL as soon as possible (even if he does get a job soon). He wants us to pack and be ready to go while I am out on leave. I'd like to stay for a while (if he gets a job soon) but since it doesn't look like that's going to happen, we will be packing up. I priced a moving truck and WOW are they expensive! :scared1: I am just beyond stressed at this point. Still, I am looking forward to living in FL (Brooksville for anyone keeping track :) ).

Have a great day all!

just stopping in to say "hey!" between being out for the funeral and now my co-worker being on a CRUISE:cloud9: I'm completely swamped at work. Hope all is well with everyone! I'll catch up more later!

thanks for breakfast Donna..

Amber:hug: sorry you're stressed but FL will be so awesome!!! good luck, I'll be praying for you!

Morning, everyone!

Thanks, Donna!

Hi, Linda!

Amber - I'm so sorry things are getting worse - one thing you DON'T need right now is the stress.
