Hey guys! Hope you had a nice day. I'm trying to defrost some ground beef right now so I can finally make dinner- I've had it out since 3 pm and its still frozen!

We went to Whole Foods and Target today and besides that, I've done absolutely nothing:rolleyes1 I'm supposed to be packing and going through my clothes but I guess I'm being lazy today!

What are you fixing for dinner, Ashley? If Iuse the ground beef in pasta or something, I usually just defrost it in the microwave.
I was just going to ask if you've done any packing.

DznyFan:: That's great that you emailed Disney about the dining plan changes. I'm like you; sometimes we order an appetizer when we go out, but hardly ever do we order dessert. I think you should at least have a choice of one or the other.

I'm making spaghetti. I like to make it on the weekends since it takes so long. I normally start earlier but I got a late start today and we just got back from Whole Foods about an hour ago! Luckily the ground beef got defrosted by putting some warm water in the sink and letting it sit for alittle while. I'm being bad about packing, but I did throw away alot of clothes yesterday! I've been getting rid of alot.

I agree with you Donna, I think it should be a choice of appetizer or dessert. But I have a feeling its because appetizers are normally more expensive to make (and they charge more for them!)

Hey, Pozey!

Mmm... spaghetti - sounds good! I went to a football party today, and it's kind of tough to eat healthy. We didn't have a veggie tray, but had some turkey wraps so I had part of one of those and some hummus, a few crackers and a few tortilla chips with some spinach dip. Came home and ate some leftover sushi from last night's dinner! I'm being SO good and it's so tough sometimes.

Ashley, I think you're right about the appetizer/dessert charge being the difference. Well, I suppose by the time we go I'll be able to afford (well, my backside can afford...) to eat some desserts if they don't get enough flak to change it by then. DH said he'd be happy if they'd just raised the price a little but didn't make the changes.

I agree. I think it stinks how the tip isn't included anymore either. But I have to say, it is kind of good because with some of the waiter experiences I've had there lately, they wouldn't have gotten an 18% tip if it wasn't already included!

We had a busy day today and I am pooped! Emma felt better and was super crabby from being stuck in the house, so we went out and did some errands. We went to WalMart for a return, then to the mall to blow off some steam. We went to play on the indoor playground, but they're replacing it so most of it was gone except for a few pretty pitiful climbing structures. We went into the new Sephora and it was a hit! The girls LOVED it and it's now their favorite store. I did a couple makeup demos and looked gorgeous - with nowhere to go. :( The kids played with the testers of all the makeup and had a grand old time. Emma painted a kitty on her hand with eyeshadow, and then colored her entire other hand blue. Oops! Good thing her hands are small so it didn't use up much! I wasn't going to buy anything but I ended up with two Bare Escentuals kits - a foundation "starter" kit and an eye kit. I'm so weak . If it wasn't so darn expensive I would have gotten more too. I think I'm gonna be hooked!

We stopped into TDS but they didn't have much left in their sale that we wanted & didn't already get. I did get a very cute oversized teacup with Alice on it - I don't drink tea but it's bowl sized so I figured it would be a great popcorn (or ice cream) bowl.

After the mall we went to McDonald's for a snack and to play on the indoor playground, since the mall playground was a bust. Except I forgot where the McD's with a playground is! We drove around town for a while and stopped at a new carwash that had a huge sign advertising $3 car washes. What a joke! The $3 wash gets you just that - a wash. Not even a soap, just a high-pressure spray! So I ponied up $6 for the middle wash and the Cwooozah! looks great. We lost our Minnie antenna topper though, which I'm pretty sad about. Good thing we can get a new one soon!

I called my parents but they forgot where the McD's was too. We finally found it and the kids played there for an hour! My parents showed up to visit with them, and then we all went home. Emma is still crabby and sleeping in my bed, so mission NOT accomplished but I am $100+ poorer.

Ashley and Nicole(Hi!!), I hope you two are able to meet once you both get settled in Florida!! That would be so awesome!!!:goodvibes

Hi, pozey!! How was your day?

I think I may go watch a program that Gary is watching on The History Channel (?) about the Freemasons. It looks kind of interesting.:scratchin

Hey Lyzziesmom!

I LOVE Sephora!! It is my favorite store. I can wander around for a LONG time in there! Luckily there are stools that Jeremiah can sit on while I'm browsing.:lmao: Good luck with the make up. I use the same brand and I really like it! And it lasts a super long time, so even though its a little expensive its worth it. I'm so glad Emma is feeling better. It sounds like you had a really full day! I can't believe the Disney store has all these sales! We don't have one near us so I don't shop there often- but there is one in the mall that's by my new house :dance3:

Goodness, Lyzziesmom, you did have a busy (and expensive) day! You'll love the BE makeup! I'm so glad Erin got more from her brother and his girlfriend for Christmas - it's too darn expensive for me to keep her stocked, and she's not working very much - every dime goes in her gas tank. It's wonderful stuff, and I need some more, but all her different school expenses have been keeping me broke.

I hope we will be able to, but I'm sure Nicole is going to be super busy! I'm looking forward to going to Disney more often though after we get settled and Jeremiah gets a job. Nicole is welcome anytime though if she feels lonely or homesick for her friends.:goodvibes

That sounds interesting. I looked on the History Channel here though and they are showing something about Hillbillys.:lmao:
