Stayed for the first time on Saturday in a preferred view duo (snagged the room at the 31 day mark). Loved it enough that I took a serious look at the current incentives

Seems like my opinions track with most of yours. I enjoyed how much less crowded DLH as a whole was (VGC is my home and the Grand was NUTS when I walked through with friends who were staying there), loved the decor, and always find self-parking easier as
@Wedgeout says. Also, I love that the rooms have robes. I don't love the walk, but when I'm parking at Mickey & Friends I walk in and out through DTD 90% of the time so it really isn't that big of a deal. My one minor irritant was not having a Keurig Duo to brew my own coffee (seems like you can request one - not a big deal for a 1 night solo stay). The real dishes are a huge plus. Had I been staying more than a night, I would have asked Mousekeeping for the sponge and dish soap to give them a little rinse in the bathroom sink.
There were two weddings going on Saturday night when I was walking "home" in the Rose Court Garden and Frontier Tower ballroom. Not going to lie, the grounds were noisy, but once inside on the 11th floor I only briefly noticed because I was purposely listening for noise. No problems falling asleep.
I would happily stay again!
