Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

I was telling my mom the other day at the hospital that it would be on and she said, "How do you get to be on there anyway?" I told her you need someone to nominate you and she started furiously pointing to her flannel shirt. I keep telling her I'll nominate her if she'll nominate me. I hate my clothes and would gladly throw them all out.

When Lyzzie was about 6 my mom asked her how she (Lyzzie) liked her (my mom's) outfit. Lyzzie said, "No offense Grammy, but you know that show What Not to Wear? I think you should be on it." Ouch.

Hmmm, no party on the cliqueless thread tonight.:confused3

Hey Donna...good luck to Nathan at his basketball tournament this weekend. Have fun working the concessions. popcorn::

DznyFan...Ted's was really good. I mentioned to the waitress that my friend had never eaten at Ted's so the manager brought out a complimentary sour cream chicken burrito! I just love those homemade flour tortillas with butter. My friend had her Thanksgiving Disney trip already finished in a lovely Mickey Mouse scrapebook! I brought my pics in the box they gave me at Walgreens!:thumbsup2 I told her she needs to come join the DIS boards...we can use more Okies! She's ready for more Disney...especially another curise!

lyzziemom...so glad to hear Emma was feeling better and eating. We've had winters that the kids seemed sick through the entire season. Hopefully this will be the end of it for her. Sometimes they pick up bugs at school and then they can pick up news ones at the Dr.'s office...it's just a vicious cycle.

Amber...good luck to Mike at his interview!

Ashley...sorry you were not feeling good this week. I'm sure it's crazy enough with you guys trying to move without being sick too.:flower3:
Linda...I'm already looking for pin codes too. It's the least they could do after overlooking us for our castle stay.:cool1:

Other than a couple of basketball games we are pretty open for the weekend. Just hoping to enjoy it!

Good morning!!

Well....we are off to Bartlesville this morning.

Colton is swimming in the "Meet of Champions" swim meet today. Have to be on deck at 7:30 am!!

Wish him luck!! I'll check in later.

Good morning, Crew!!! :wave2:

pozey:: Best of luck to Colton today!! I'm sure he'll do great!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

lyzziesmom:: I'm glad to hear that Emma is feeling better and getting back to her old self again!!:cutie:
I planned the ice cream beak in place of lunch, since we were doing Chef Mickey's that evening. When we go in July, it's just too crowded to depend on being able to get into a sit-down restaurant. Our dessert was just lunch!

DznyFan:: Have fun doing the laundry and cleaning. I'm sure I'll be doing a little of that too!!:laundy:

YourMajesty:: Sounds like you enjoyed your lunch at Teds. WOW!! Your friend already has her scrapbook finished? I'm sure your box from Walgreen's was just a lovely.:teeth:

Well, had better get breakfast on the table. I just grabbed a box of donuts for this morning.

I hope you all have a Super Saturday!!

morning all! I am off to meet my mom and sis at First Watch for breakfast. they just called to see where I am. OOPS! I will check in later! happy weekend!

Good morning :)!!! Well, I finally talked to my mother last night! she DIDN'T go to the hospital like she was supposed to:mad: there is just no talking to her, so I told her she was grounded. she's 51 yrs old, not much you can do but tell her she's being stubborn and Kenny would really like to have her attend his wedding someday:rolleyes:

Linda: The Melting Pot sounds so good right now. I've been craving sweets all week and their dessert would really hit the spot! Nothing like a big pot of melted chocolate to curb those PMS cravings is there?!
they took a nap at work! wow, wouldn't that be nice!!!
Yes, it sounds SO tasty! so does the oreo milkshake at SciFi!! YUM! I think I'm going to have to search for a fondue set for home!!!

Hi everyone
Linda, have you heard anything about your Mom?
Hey there Ashley:hug: I know this is a stressful time for you! I hope your headaches go away soon. I'm sure it'll improve once you get to FL:cloud9: I know mine would:laughing: ahhh paradise! I bet Ruby will like it too!

Hi!

We just got back from grabbing a bit to eat. I had to go to a basketball parents meeting earlier; just to sign up to work concessions.

I made a ADR at Sci-Fi in July just for our dessert

I had a little problem earlier. One of Nathan's friends from school is wanting to spend Sat. night with us
a meeting just to sign up for concessions! bummer!!! Hope your dinner out was good!
I'd definitely tip accordingly too.
omg..I'm w/you there. I wouldn't want to worry about taking someone elses child to their game. I guess my sister does it all the time, but I'd rather plan it for a different time!!

i've got a football party to go to on Sunday.
now that sounds like fun:cheer2:

I feel the same about having kids run amok in my house!

she was hamming it up at another one of her tables.

Emma is feeling SO MUCH better! She requested her favorite Chinese restaurant
yeah, plus we have SO many expensive and breakable things in our house! Kenny knows how to behave and knows what he can do where...w/other kids coming in, you just don't know what can/would happen. Thankfully he's a little young for that..we'll ease into it!

omg that is just rude of that waitress! that's too bad!

YAY Emma is REQUESTING food!!!  :cheer2: that's awesome!!

Hmmm, no party on the cliqueless thread tonight.:confused3

She's ready for more Disney...especially another curise!

Linda...I'm already looking for pin codes too. It's the least they could do after overlooking us for our castle stay.:cool1:

Other than a couple of basketball games we are pretty open for the weekend. Just hoping to enjoy it!
sounds like a great lunch:woohoo: she would definitely fit in here!!! Disney, cruises...scrapbooking....come on over!!! Sounds like a great friend!
Yeah, I know....I guess I'll keep calling and trying! SOG would be fine w/me..but a code would be cool too! Esp. after they gave away OUR castle stay to the family in front of us:rolleyes1  that was just wrong:rotfl: we were so close! guess we have to just go back and keep trying. Hmmmm my birthday is in April:rotfl: ok, I know HM and Mike would look at us like we're CRAZY. Oh wait, Mike does that already:laughing:
Good luck boys! Hope you have a great basketball game!:cheer2:

Good morning!!

Well....we are off to Bartlesville this morning.

Colton is swimming in the "Meet of Champions" swim meet today. Have to be on deck at 7:30 am!!

Wish him luck!! I'll check in later.
good luck Colton:cheer2:

morning all! I am off to meet my mom and sis at First Watch for breakfast. they just called to see where I am. OOPS! I will check in later! happy weekend!
have fun!!! sounds like a great time.

Ok, I've got to give Mike a haircut, get cleaned up and head to Columbus to do some shopping! Gotta stock up on the Bare Minerals! Check out TDS, maybe Costco....that's sad when you look forward to going to Costco huh:rolleyes1
My co-worker leaves on a cruise today! Carnival out of Ft. Lauderdale though...have to see how he liked flying on Skybus.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Morning everyone! Well I spoke too soon about Emma feeling better. She had a relapse during the night, and woke me up at 3am crying about her legs being wet. :scared: So we are staying in today, but I had to call my mom and ask her to bring us some more tp since we've been going through it a lot faster than usual, and I don't want to drag Emma out & about when she keeps having to go. She's still pretty perky though, so that's a big improvement. Looks like I have a bit of laundry to do today too.

pozey: Good luck at the swim meet!

Donna: Dessert for lunch -- sounds like my kind of lunch! We are already talking about having ice cream for breakfast one day. Lyzzie and I did that last year in AK and she still remembers even which ice cream cart we went to. :rotfl:

morning all! I am off to meet my mom and sis at First Watch for breakfast. they just called to see where I am. OOPS! I will check in later! happy weekend!

We have First Watch here too, I thought they were just local! Sounds like a good time - have one of those huge pancakes for me, will ya?

Linda: You saw someone win a night in the castle? Oh my goodness, I'd have such mixed feelings about that. I'd be happy for those people and it would be cool to see someone win something so big, but I'd be so mad that it wasn't ME! I'd be thinking, "If only I hadn't stopped to _______, then that would have been me!" :cutie: I figure we're due for a dream this time. It will be my FOURTH trip during the YOAMD and we haven't won a thing! We saw Brandon at the Cliqueless Convention   , then last time Lyzzie got a pin set at the info booth in MGM, and a Dream Team member talked to Emma for a while at the MGM entrance but didn't give us anything. What a tease!

Gotta stock up on the Bare Minerals!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

hey linda!
I use Bare Minerals too. I love that stuff! I got a Sephora gift card for Christmas, so I will probably use it for that. The only thing is Sephora isnt that close to me. well its at the Galleria Mall, which isnt too far but I have another mall closer.

Lyzziesmom, I love First Watch, there is one right near our house. It is a little pricey for breakfast. I almost got one pancake, since they are so huge I can only eat one! But got biskets and gravy instead. lol I mean biscuits!I couldnt remember how to spell it.

well I went to breakfast, the bank, WFM to meet hubby for breakfast ( I just sat with him,) the mall, Publix, and dropped off some groceries for my sister. she is sleeping since she works the night shift at Plantation General Hospital. whew! now all I have to do is get dinner in the crock pot, laundry going and I can relax!

I just noticed last week that a new Sephora opened in our local mall, otherwise the nearest one was at the Country Club Plaza in KCMO and that's about 25 minutes away. It's a great little place but it's full of high-end shops so I stay away, it's too pricy for me to go there! I've actually never shopped at Sephora but I want to try the BE makeup. I'm currently using L'Oreal's version and I like it, but it's too cakey looking and I make a mess with the clunky dispenser. Maybe after tax time I'll go to Sephora for a little splurge!

My parents are on their way over, they are going to take Lyzzie for half the day just to give her some alone time with them, and me some alone time with Emma.

Good morning, well afternoon for some of you.

Remember Maddie's New Years resolutions. Well they are still going strong especially the one about keeping her room clean. Cleaning it has become an almost everyday obsession for her. She spends at least an hour moving stuff and whatever else (not sure cause it's clean  ) I just heard her screaming about her sister not putting her shirt away. It was more like "why can't people put things where they go". I can't for the life of me figure where she got that from. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Ashley...I'm sorry your feeling stressed out about moving. I remember getting ready to move here and I had people packing and moving my stuff. :headache: Maybe part of it was watching them drop my refrigerator in the driveway and then fighting over whose fault it was. Just take it easy so the stress doesn't trigger your migraines. It will be over and done before you know it and your be sunning yourself in the Florida sun.:yay:

Linda...I'm sorry your mom didn't go to the hospital like she was suppose to. You guys saw someone win a stay in the castle? I think I'd die with envy right there on the spot.:upsidedow I love BE especially the mineral veil. I have Britt using it too. FYI Ulta sells BE too.

Donna have fun at Nathan's game! Good luck to him. :cheer2: I wouldn't want to have the sleepover either, I actually like sleepunders myself. They have the sleepover fun part of it and go home about 9:30.;)

Dznyfan...I can't remember if I told you I am so glad they were able to recover your album!:cool1:

2x...How are you doing?

YM...I'm glad you had a good lunch. At least you had your photos with you, mine are all still on my computer. :snooty:  Good luck at the games!:cheer2:

Amber...Good luck with Mike's interview!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. I'd better get hoppin, I need to go shoppin! I need to get the stuff for chicken noodle soup.

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Ashley- I know it's hard but just think, in less than a month you'll be in Florida!!!!

Lyzziesmom- I'm sorry that Emma still sick.

Linda- You saw someone win the castle stay?! It would be hard to be happy for the people that won it! I'm sorry your mom didn't go to the hospital.

Pozey- Good luck to Colton!

I had a good time at dinner with my friends. Someone in one of our classes opened up an Indian resturant and we had dinner there. Since non of us had eaten Indian food before we asked a million questions!:rotfl:

Good afternoon!!

Linda, they gave away a night in the castle to someone in front of you??!! How unfair!! They obviously picked the wrong family.

Lesa - so Maddie's keeping her room clean? That's a wonderful thing! I wish mine would do that. It's been an uphill battle all her life!

Linda - so your mom didn't go to the hospital, huh? Stubborn!!

Nicole - was the food awesome at your friend's restaurant? I've never eaten Indian before but I think I'd like it.

YM - so your friend enjoyed Ted's? Oh, those tortillas and butter!! YUM! Off limits for me - DH and I have changed our eating habits recently *sigh* a friend of ours got him hooked on "You Are What You Eat" on BBC, and he could DEFINTELY use the change, and me too, quite frankly. On top of that, one of his closest friends is in the hospital with a heart attack right now. What's funny (not haha - but ironic), the day before he went in the hospital they had lunch together - the friend had a big open-faced chili cheese burger, and DH at a grilled chicken sandwich. Sugars, fats and red meat are a big no-no but Ted's tortillas sounds SO good. I'm down 3.5 pounds, though. I'll take Donna's dunkin donuts though - no calories or fat.

Pozey - good luck to Colton!!!

Dznyfan, I love that show! except the "whose poo" part is kind of gross!

Dznyfan, I love that show! except the "whose poo" part is kind of gross!
It's a great show, isn't it? One of my girlfriends is hooked - she was telling me about it, then the next day (New Year's Day) we were channel surfing and we ran across it. I was telling DH about it, he sat down and watched, and ws immediately hooked. It's quite the eye-opener! Granted we didn't eat half as bad as most of the people she has on there, but it certainly proved there was room for improvement. I love the names they call some of the foods there in the UK. And the "fry-ups"! Wow - throw everything in a skillet full of oil and fry it.... YUK.

I know, the names they have for stuff is funny. I saw one show, a young girl and her bf, and her parents..wow they ate bad! everything fried! and another show, this guy drank so much beer. all day everyday. when you put everything on the table that you eat in a day, its an eye opener! but I dont think we are as bad as the people on that show!

Hi, crew!!

We're back from the ballgames. Nathan's team won the first game, but lost the second one. The second game was so close, they ended up losing by three points. They play again tomorrow at 1pm.

Linda:: Sounds like you have a fun day planned.
Did I now about the people getting the castle dream right in front of you? That just NOT right!!

Lesa:: That's great news that Maddie is still keeping her room clean!! Yelling about putting things away? I wonder where she's heard that one?:confused3

lyzziesmom:: Sorry to hear Emma is still not 100% just yet. It may take a while to get her system back to normal. I glad she's acting more like herself.

Nicole:: Your Indian food sounds interesting. Yeah, I proabably would have asked a lot of questions, too.:rolleyes1
BTW....thanks for the Valentine thingy!!!:goodvibes

YourMajesty:: Still at the ballgames? The boys will probably be really hungry afterwards!! I wasn't sure Nathan was going to stop eating!!popcorn::  :rotfl:

Ooohh, DznyFan and Shannon; I've never seen the show you're talking about, but I'm sure it's an eye opener. Beer and fried foods.....not good.

I don't have a young houseguest this evening. I just mentioned to his mom that this week probably wouldn't work out with the different games and she agreed....not a problem.

Well, I have a load of laundrry to throw into the dryer and another to put in the washer.
Talk to you all later!!

I have not seen that show. I've seen it in the listings and assumed it was another preachy, you-must-eat-tasteless-crap show. I might have to check it now, it sounds interesting!

Lyzzie kept sending me pictures and text messages today from her outing with my parents. They took her to Crown Center and Union Station and it looks like she had a blast! I'm surprised, since it's mostly shopping and my mom hates shopping. She's on her way home now and I can't wait to hear what they did!

I had a nice day with Emma, except when she was getting out of the tub she flailed around and knocked over a glass jar of cotton balls. I swept it up, but now I'm afraid to walk in the bathroom. The floor is white and hard to see those little glass bits! It's in the tub too.

Morning everyone! Well I spoke too soon about Emma feeling better.
Linda: You saw someone win a night in the castle?
oh no! poor Emma!
YES!! the people RIGHT in front of us on Buzz Space Ranger Spin won the castle!! We saw the dream team surround them and we even asked them what they won and the dream team lady just told me that...they were at the magical place at the magical time...and I left it at that...then HERE on the DIS....YM and I saw the thread where the lady's parents won the castle stay off Buzz that day!!!! I told YM if we won that we'd tell them we're a party of 7 so we could ALL stay..but it just didn't happen! guess we'll have to go try again:rolleyes1
hey linda!
I use Bare Minerals too. I love that stuff! I got a Sephora gift card for Christmas, so I will probably use it for that. The only thing is Sephora isnt that close to me. well its at the Galleria Mall, which isnt too far but I have another mall closer.

I love that stuff too! what a great gift too! I have to drive 45 minutes to our Sephora...or order it online I guess:rolleyes: but no place close to us sells it...it's worth the drive b/c then I go to TDS too:rotfl:
Sounds like you had a busy day!
TDS was awesome!! I got Kenny some power ranger toys, pj pals, an Oswald figurine, Oswald ornament, Christmas cards....I think that is all. I was so excited!

Maybe after tax time I'll go to Sephora for a little splurge
most definitely!!! I love that stuff!
alone time is great!! Hope they both enjoy it.

Good morning, well afternoon for some of you.

Remember Maddie's New Years resolutions. Well they are still going strong Linda...I'm sorry your mom didn't go to the hospital like she was suppose to. You guys saw someone win a stay in the castle? I think I'd die with envy right there on the spot.:upsidedow I love BE especially the mineral veil. I have Britt using it too. FYI Ulta sells BE too.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. I'd better get hoppin, I need to go shoppin! I need to get the stuff for chicken noodle soup.
way to go Maddie! that is great!
yeah, w/my mom...nothing surprises me! Yes, I wasn't sure what they won, but then after I got here and saw that they ALMOST TURNED IT DOWN:eek: omg...I would have died for sure!
yes, mineral veil is the best! that is what I was about to run out of, CAN'T have that:snooty:  Hope you had fun shopping too!

Linda- You saw someone win the castle stay?! It would be hard to be happy for the people that won it! I'm sorry your mom didn't go to the hospital.

I had a good time at dinner with my friends. Someone in one of our classes opened up an Indian resturant and we had dinner there. Since non of us had eaten Indian food before we asked a million questions!:rotfl:
yeah, can you believe it...and on top of that Mike say ANOTHER family win it at Epcot the day Donna and Nathan arrived!!!! They had just came off Soarin...Kenny and I were in line to ride it....so close...yet so far away!!
oh, how cool. How was the Indian food?

Good afternoon!!

Linda, they gave away a night in the castle to someone in front of you??!! How unfair!! They obviously picked the wrong family.

Linda - so your mom didn't go to the hospital, huh? Stubborn!!
I know...we were so close...TWICE! The first time was when Donna and Nathan could have joined us and the second YM's family would have had to join us...wouldn't that have been just incredible!!! I wouldn't have been able to sleep though:rotfl: but I would have had a LOT of pictures:lmao:
Yes, she's SO stubborn!

I don't have a young houseguest this evening. I just mentioned to his mom that this week probably wouldn't work out with the different games and she agreed....not a problem
great job Nathan!!! and good luck for tomorrow:cheer2:
yeah, we had a great time! The day you arrived it was the people that came off Soarin. Mike saw that while Kenny and I were in line to ride...then after YM's family arrived the three of us saw it literally right in front of us coming off Buzz. SO close!!!! Nope...not right! but maybe next time!
yay...no house guest. that is cool she was understanding:cool1:

It's in the tub too.
oh no! be careful!!!!

hope everyone had a great day!

Good evening!

Congrats to Nathan on his win!:cheer2:

Hubby is getting ready to go play poker. I swear he never can get anyone that wants to play poker and this weekend he's been invited to 3 games. I think he chose by which group he thinks he can beat. J/K :rotfl2: I hope he has fun and wins so he can add to Britt's cheer fund.

I have a bit of a delima. Madison missed her brownie meeting yesterday. I picked up stuff from brownie leader tonight so she can make it up. Well in the bag were 2 very nice thank you notes for a Christmas gift. My delima....the gift was not from us.:rolleyes1 Actually we forgot to take the leaders their gift over the holiday. Maddie had told them at their Christmas meeting that she had forgot their gift and I said we would get it to them.:headache: So now I have to tell them the gift was not from us so the correct gift giver can get the thank you, but I have no idea where I put their gift from Maddie. I think I may have packed it away with the Christmas stuff or quite possibly it got thrown out. Do I just forget getting a gift or do I pick something up?

Speaking of musical auditions, ours are this week and next. Vocal and reading this week, dance and callbacks next. Pixie dust and prayers appreciated!

Oh, and excellent news - - - I got my "deleted" photo book back! They were able to retrieve it! HOORAY!!

Boy, we sure do have a lot of "Dixie" in our little group!
Tell Erin to Break a Leg!!!!! I'm so glad you got your album back! We just got a free calender from them!

Well, Mike may have an interview soon. I found a manager opening with a nursery (gardening). He has always wanted to do something like that (he loves gardening) so this would be perfect. He called today and the woman seemed very impressed with him. She is suppose to call him next week. So, please wish him luck. (We are still planning on moving, but would like for him to find a job here for a while. If he can't find anything though, we may move as soon as I have the baby).
Good luck to Mike!!! Hope you and Spencer are hanging in there. When is your due date, again?

I've been thinking a lot about our upcoming trip and how it will be different from all our other trips. This will be my first time taking both girls and no other adult, so we will be trying to keep a slower pace. I've been talking it over with them, and we've decided to try to do things we normally skip in favor of more "exciting" attractions. We're going to try to see all the World Showcase movies, ride the Liberty Riverboat and spend more than 10 minutes on Tom Sawyer's Island. We'd like to try the Fantasia Gardens minigolf course - although I see they just raised the rates! I'm feeling a little less "magic" this time, maybe because we've been lucky enough to go so often in the past year and maybe because I know we'll be skipping a lot of favorites that Emma's too little for, and definitely because I know it'll be a lot of WORK for me! But I am getting excited thinking about new things to try, and old favorites to look forward to. Emma just wants to ride the Barnstormer, and this morning she remembered Winnie the Pooh. Lyzzie serenaded me with it's a small world this morning in the car.

This morning Lyzzie couldn't find one slipper for today's pj party and she was freaking out. She even locked herself in the laundry room with the cats and interrogated them, since Roxy has been known to abduct slippers. The cats weren't talking though. I did ask Lyzzie yesterday if she had everything ready for today and she said yes, but she forgot about the slippers. I made up a song for her, but she didn't think it was nearly as funny as I did:
Wasting away again in elementary school
Looking for my lost red fuzzy slipper.
Some people say that there's a kitty to blaaaame
But I know...
It's my own darn fault.
I love your little song! Did she find her slipper?
Relax during your trip, you will be fine and you can focus on time with the girls. Hopefully it will be slow and you won't have to worry about missing things. I've always wanted to go to Fantasia Mini Golf, I think you can get a coupon for it if you have the Disney Visa, and I think there is one in the Birnbaums guide, I know there was one in an issue a couple of years ago.

Good morning!!

Well....we are off to Bartlesville this morning.

Colton is swimming in the "Meet of Champions" swim meet today. Have to be on deck at 7:30 am!!

Wish him luck!! I'll check in later.
Hope Colton did well at his meet!!!!

I felt so bad yesterday that I came home and went to bed right after callbacks, it was about 6:45! Chris brought me tomato soup and grilled cheese in bed and then I went back to sleep until this morning! Then we met my parents and grandparents for lunch, ran a couple of errands and then I went back to bed. I feel a little better though. Chris and I are about to watch a movie and call it a night.

Hope you all have wonderful Sundays!!!!
