I'm glad he made it home safely! Blake said David left without anyone knowing. Of course he could have come into the room with a marching band to let Blake know and he wouldn't have woken up!:confused3

Dan has already been texting Bree today. I'm sure we will see him later. It will be funny to see Zach's reaction to another guy with Lilly. Bree has had to deal with that visual from the very beginning. Oh and he has another girlfriend. I think this is 6 since Lilly was born.

Shannon: That band gig sounds like it was fun. What kind of music does your DH play? What instrument does he play? Oh yes, visiting your sister's shower sounds like a must! No cold showers!!

It was a lot of fun. DH plays lead guitar. The name of his band is Dr Strong.
They play originals, plus rock.Stevie Ray Vaughn, Pat Travers, Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin , ZZ Top etc and new stuff, their style is blues/rock.
he has been playing since he was 8 years old.:rolleyes1

I did end up taking a cold shower at home, mostly because I didnt feel like taking my stuff over to my sisters house. (it was a very quick shower). I might heat up some water on the stove to take a bath later. :rotfl: or so DH can shave! he is really having a fit that we arent really getting clean because hot water kills germs better! I better get online and find a water heater quick.....:rolleyes1 not that I dont want hot water I just cant make up my mind to just buy a new one or have someone come out and fix ours. it might not even be able to be fixed at all! (I will check for a reset button, thanks Donna! I didnt think of that, although its probably wishfull thinking.)

Shannon - it's been many years since I've heard the names Robin Trower and Pat Travers. :thumbsup2 They don't do any Tommy Bolin, do they?

no,,, wasnt he in the James Gang? they do a little Cream (White Room)
Clapton (Crossroads) Mustang Sally, Red House, Rolling Stones, (Sympathy, Give Me Shelter) Doors (Roadhouse Blues) you name it they prob. do it. pretty much lots of classic rock. All the stuff they listened to growing up. They are a 3 piece band, and the bass player sings so they are limited to his vocal range. (some of the Zep songs they cant do because Robert Plant sings so high!) They get lots of complements on the Trower, Day of the Eagle (they really rock that one) and Too Rolling Stoned.:rockband:

Since they really want to work on their originals, they dont have as much time to work on adding covers, but they can learn them really quick.

Im busy doing laundry, getting ready for the week! will check in later!

'ello Loves!

Got a little bit of Christmas shopping done today, but not much!

Lyzziesmom, my sister has several pairs of glittens! They are ideal for flute, clarinet, picolo players in the north!

Dznyfan...that is intriguing, and I am so glad it isn't Company! Hate that show! Peeks my interest that perhaps it is another Sondheim show though, his music is definitely tough! I'm going through MTI right now trying to figure out what it might be!!!

Gooood mornng, everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good.
On my shopping trip yesterday, I got exactly ONE present bought. Pretty much what I had expected. I did find a couple of long-sleeved t-shirts for Nathan to wear to school and a red and gray sweater for Christmas.

I guess today is the day that Nicole head home from WDW; although I have no idea what time her flight leaves Orlando. Welcome home Nicole!!!

YourMajesty:: I presume you made it home safely from OKC.:goodvibes

How about some Blueberry Muffins for breakfast this morning? Sure beats my Multi-grain Cheerios that I'm eating IRL!!;)

I hope you all have a Magical Monday!!:wizard:

Good Morning Donna!! Thanks for breakfast:cool1:

All that shopping and only one gift, huh? Sounds like something I would do;) But you had a nice time tho, so it was all good.

Nicole....Welcome home, we want to hear all about it!!

Blake took me shopping at Michael's yesterday and I got even more scrapbook stuff. Oh this is getting bad!! :thumbsup2

He gave me my Photobook I made. I LOVE:love: it!! It is sooo cool! I have already started another one...maybe it will be my Christmas gift:rolleyes1

Have a great day everyone...Only 2 days of school this week:dance3:

Good morning, Michele!!
I think you have been bitten by the scrapbooking bug!! After my trip to Archivers yesterday, I really want to pick up where I left off with my scrapbook. We have a couple of decent scrapbooking shops in our little town. I need to get my list together for the things I need.
Your Photobook sounds great.....I'm glad your happy with it.

Yay!! For 2 days of school!!! Nathan has to go 3 days this week, poor kid!!

Good morning! I am very sleepy this morning. Emma took an unexpected nap on the couch yesterday evening and I thought she was down for the night, but then she woke up right before her regular bedtime and wanted to eat. Then of course she couldn't sleep - so I let her sleep in my bed. She was up until 11pm! And let me tell you... that girl is FUNNY! We had the giggles so bad we both were crying from laughing so hard, and I can't even tell you what was so funny because it really wasn't, it was just that she was saying "butt," but she was pronouncing it really weird and it cracked us both up. When I finally rolled over to sleep, she decided to snuggle against my back. She threw her little arm over me and very quietly said, "chugga chugga choo choo!" That got us going again. I woke up at 5am with feet laying across my tummy and Emma was laying completely sideways on the bed, using Dusty as a pillow with her arms wrapped around the cat. It was a fun night, but not very restful. Forgive me for rambling - I'm still asleep.

It's a short week for us here too - Lyzzie has only 2 days of school and I'm taking Wed. off so I have only 2 days too!! Of course the weather is not my friend - it's so nice today (62 already, supposed to get up to 70!) and tomorrow will be similar. Then on Wed -- my day off to get all my running around done -- wind, rain and SNOW! :crazy2:

Thanks Donna... I really really REALLY want to go to WDW! I should just say to heck with Christmas... let's go to WDW instead!

I am WAY, WAY behind on the happenings 'round here.

Sorry 'bout that.

How was everyone's weekend?

The boys had another swim meet in Oklahoma City this past weekend. They did alright. Chase, unfortunately, got sick at school Friday. He wasn't able to swim Friday night, but swam Saturday and Sunday. He swam okay, but not great. He still didn't feel 100%.

I did, get some great pictures though. I'll post them later.

After swimming Saturday, we were eating at Abuelo's when someone told us we should go to the Capital Building in OKC. So we did.

It was GREAT. Had a great time.

Took some really good pictures there too.

Great pictures pozey! I love the ones of the boys "leaning" on the building, that kind of photography always cracks me up.

When I was about 14 we went as a family to Washington DC. My favorite picture is one I took of my dad while I was walking behind him. His bald head lines up with the dome of the Capitol building. He had no idea.

I also really like a picture I took of my dad last year in front of Animal Kingdom. I had him stand so that his head was in front of the elephant above the entrance gates, so it looks like he has elephant ears. He had no idea and couldn't figure out why I was so particular about just where he was standing.

Yeah, I'm kind of twisted like that.
