Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

Ashley: That dress is really cute! I'm so jealous -- dresses from Target NEVER fit me. They make me look like a potato in a dress. The only dresses I can wear are from Kohl's, and they only sometimes even carry dresses.

I was surprised I liked it too. I never even try stuff on at Target because the stuff never fits! But I saw the dress on the clearance rack and decided to try it out since Jeremiah was trying on pants anyways...you can't beat the price!

Even though it wasn't the same exact cake, :teeth: here is another birthday treat for you Michele!!!

(I want a lemon bar now!!!)

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!!

I had a great day. I am a newbie when it comes to the scrapbooking. The only other time I have done this was a 3 hours at my friends house a few weeks ago. And a lot of that time was spent looking thru a bunch of her albums. Today's scrapbooking event was from 10am to 11pm!! I got there at 10 and left at 7:30!! And I'll tell you...if I didn't feel guilty that I had not seen any of my kids today...I would still be there. The time just flew by. I got a lot done. Bought a few things and have a catalog for some supplies.

Now I know what I want for Christmas!! I can see where this could get really out of hand:thumbsup2

Now I am babysitting for Lilly. It's easy now that she has fallen asleep:cloud9:

Briana is out on a date. She met a guy thru a friend of hers who doesn't have a problem with Lilly. She went out a few weeks ago with a guy she graduated with....he told his friend that he really likes Bree but he just can't handle a baby. And you know, at his age, that is perfectly understandable. At least he was honest and not mean. But this guy seems really comfortable with Lilly. They went out last night after work, he came over today and even went to my mom's for dinner. Now they have gone skating.

Have a great night everyone!!

Hi, everyone!!

We ended up not doing anythng much at all today. Gary woke up feeling sick and layed around all day. I finally left the house about 5pm to get Nathan and I a pizza.

I had a couple of phone calls from some friends of mine today.:goodvibes

Michele::2x2s' computer is still sick and YourMajesty is in OKC without her laptop. They both told me to tell you....

Just checking in...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELE!!!

Ashley:: I love your new dress!! That's terrifiec that you almost pretty much have your Christmas shopping done!! Hopefully, I'll get some done tomorrow.

lyzziesmom:: Sounds like you had a busy and fun day!!
I had never heard or seen Glittens. Thankfully you found them for $5!!
Thanks for the compliment on the avatar. I thought it was time for a change and those castle lights look so darned pretty.:goodvibes

Michele:: Are you getting addicted to scrapbooking? Nathan won a PRIDE award at school and every winner has to make a scrapbook page of themselves. I realized the las tpage I did was for Easter 2003.:guilty: Nathan wants his page to be basketball themed, so I'm going to have to squeeze in a trip to Archivers tomorrow.:rolleyes1
I hope you had a great birthday!!

Well, think I'm going to hit the hay soon. I've got an early day tomorrow.:sunny:

Happy Birthday, Michelle!!

Glad you had such a fun day scrapbooking! Enjoy taking care of the princess!

Donna, love the new avatar!

Ashley, that dress is cute! Congrats on getting all your shopping done! I have barely even started...

I spent today up at school again, but we got quite a bit done. Its coming together very, very slowely. Last night we went to see Into the Woods Junior at one of our district schools. It was cute, but they cut out soooo much for the junior version that the show really loses what it is about. Tonight we went to see You Can't Take It With You at the high school one of our friends teaches at, and it was really good. That is a great show for all ages, such a cute story.

Now I'm off to bed! Tons to do tomorrow including cooking and shopping and cleaning. Good Times!

That's great for Brianna! I hope it works out. Y'know, it's hard for guys to accept and deal with kids at ANY age. I still deal with that issue a lot. Even if a guy says he's okay with it, a lot of times he either really isn't, or wants to be but is just clueless. XBF is like that. He really likes the girls, but still just doesn't "get it" that he can't call me up at 8pm and want to take us out to dinner, because they are in bed.

You've been bitten by the scrapbooking bug, huh? It's so much fun! I keep buying supplies but am SO far behind in actual work -- I think I've done about 6 pages since Emma was 9 months old. Where did the time go??

Here's a picture of the "glittens" we were in search of today. Lyzzie's are purple with pink and blue stripes. They are pretty cute. It looks like they are officially called "convertible gloves" or "convertible mittens" (at least that's what I typed in Google to find them!) but Lyzzie and her friends made up the word "glittens." Wouldn't it be funny if it catches on? I told her I was glad she found something she's happy with, with a price tag I'm happy with!

Well it's way past pumpkin time for me -- goodnight all!

Whew- I am home and exhausted!!! We've been gone since 2:30, and I think I may have overdid it- I am still sick and am feeling it right now!!...BUT, I got ALL my Christmas shopping done- with the exception of needing a copy of a picture made and a picture frame :woohoo: :dance3: Jeremiah isn't quite done with his family- but almost!!!

I also got another dress for the cruise (on clearance for $13 at Target!!!) and earrings and Jeremiah got a nice pair of khakis. I almost got some shoes but chickened out- I never seem to be able to make up my mind!!!!

Here's the dress:
http://www.target.com/Mossimo-Black...ie=UTF8&node=16338451&frombrowse=1&rh=&page=1
I figure I can wear it on a casual night.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!! I got some cinnamon scented pinecones from Whole Foods and they smell SO GOOD!

Hi Ash! I LOVE the dress, its so pretty! I may have to run over to Target, just to check it out, but im like lyzziesmom, their clothes dont really fit me that well. It does look like it would be flattering, and an easy fit though. Did they have it in different colors?

Im pretty tired this am. Dh & his band had the benefit yesterday. It was for a biker whose wife had cancer and beat it, but now he was diagnosed. It was really fun! They roasted a pig, had lots of food, and dropped an old Japanese motorcycle from a crane onto cement, then everyone went crazy smashing it with a sledgehammer. I guess they only like bikes built in the USA! LOL We were there from 2:30 to 8:30. The weather was gorgeous, we got nervous because there were some dark clouds, and the band was on a flatbead trailer outside, but they blew over.

Our waterheater is officially kaput. However we have a friend who can put one in, so we just have to go buy it. So I should only have a day or two more with cold showers! actually I might go over to my sisters house to visit her kitty and shower there....on my way out to run errands. Gotta be home in time for football!
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!:santa: maybe get a little shopping in! Im jealous that ash is almost done, I think I have maybe one gift!

ETA: I just showered at home.....brrr!!! Its only bad for the first 5 minutes or so!

Happy Sunday morning, everyone!!:sunny:

Hummm.....I wonder what Nicole is up to today.:scratchin

Sunday- Epcot day, Behind the Seeds tour, Le Ceiller for dinner

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll bet they will have a great time today; I know I would!!!

Why don't we join them at Epcot? We can grab a quick bite at Sunshine Seasons!

Shannon - sorry about your water heater!

Lyzziesmom - so THAT'S what Erin was talking about! I was confused!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

Lin:: :yay: :yay: For getting quite a bit done at school yesterday!!:thumbsup2

lyzziesmom:: OK, now I know what glittens are! They are cute, aren't they? I had never heard of them before. I've become quite shopping challenged lateley. I may have to show them to my niece today when we go shopping. I don't think she likes to wear gloves and this would be a great compromise.

Shannon:: Shucks for the hot water heater. We had problems with our heater constantly in our old house. The reset button was our friend.:rolleyes1 Does you hot water heater have a reset button?

Hi, DznyFan!!!:wave2:

I had better get moving. I have to pick up my sister and niece at 9:15am. Our official shopping day, you know!

Love the new avatar!!! Too pretty!

Oh I am really getting into the scrapbooking thing. I got about 15 pages done yesterday. Some of them took a long time. Bree is going to be using Lilly's scrapbook as her baby book. So I had to stencil a lot of writing. You know...baby's first step, first word, dental records...all those pages. I still have more to do.

There is another cropping day on Friday. From 10 am to midnight! Since I try to stay FAR away from the mall on Black Friday I think I will get more done:thumbsup2

Happy Birthday, Michelle!!

Cute 'glittens'!!

Well it is 'official' Briana and Dan are a couple. He seems very nice. They went ice skating last night, then came home to watch a movie. He even agreed to watch Ratatouille. :thumbsup2

Too bad about the water heater. Hopefully you will have the new one in ASAP. When you say it is only bad for the first 5 minutes, does that mean that after that you are numb so it doesn't feel so bad:rotfl2: :scared:

Happy Sunday morning, everyone!!:sunny:

Doona, thanks for the yummy breakfast!!

I had better get moving. I have to pick up my sister and niece at 9:15am. Our official shopping day, you know!

Have fun shopping!!!

Thanks everyone for the lovely birthday wishes!! I have such great friends here!!

Blake just called, he is on his way home from hunting. He didn't get anything but he doesn't seem to mind. He should be home around 1 pm. I don't know if he has anything planned for today or not.

Lesa, Blake said that David left REALLY early this morning. Blake and Mike were cleaning the cabin and thought David was sleeping late when the realized his car was gone. They didn't even know he had left:confused3 :lmao:

Have a great Sunday everyone!!!

Shannon: That band gig sounds like it was fun. What kind of music does your DH play? What instrument does he play? Oh yes, visiting your sister's shower sounds like a must! No cold showers!!

Looks like Nicole has a great day planned today. Wish I was there too!

Lyzziesmom - so THAT'S what Erin was talking about! I was confused!

Now I'm confused... I've forgotten what we were talking about!

Donna: Oh yes, glittens are all the rage this year, at least in Lyzzie's school they are. We even saw some at the Disney Store with Mickey on one hand and Minnie on the other! Although your niece probably calls them something else. Lyzzie and her friends first started calling them "moves" (rhymes with gloves) but decided that sounded lame. Have fun on your shopping day!

Michele: I love scrapbooking, but have never been to a crop. I wouldn't even know where to begin on what to bring, I have enough supplies I could open a store! I don't have many of the expensive tools though - but I want them! I suppose if I could find more time to actually scrapbook then I could justify the expense. That's great news for Bree! I hope things work out, I know it can be very hard dating with a baby. Good thing she has such a strong support system and a great mom! My mom still gives me a hard time about babysitting, she says, "You're a mom now, you're not allowed to have fun." :sad2:

Good morning!

Maddie woke me up at 7:30 this morning to tell me she let me sleep in. :headache: She was very excited and proud of herself.:lmao:  :lmao: I guess it's better than the 6:30 she normally wakes me up. It's like she wakes up with so much to say, she can't hold it in until I wake up. Some of her best conversations are first thing in the morning.:upsidedow

Ashley...I love the clothes you've picked out for you cruise! The last dress looks like it would be very flattering on! How are you feeling? Did they take you off the topamax? Did you get your cable fixed?

Donna...You must be so proud of Nathan!:yay: I don't have Christmas shopping done either. I have one thing bought and that's it! I told Maddie that there was not going to be as many presents under the tree this year, and she said she already knew that. She said there are a lot more poor kids this year and Santa needs to share some of her presents with them. I was actually proud of her answer. It cracks me up that she is still a strong believer. I have a feeling that when she's married her husband's going to have to take over the job of Santa so as not to disappoint her.:rotfl2:

Michele...I'm glad you had fun scrapbooking! Too bad we don't live close because I have so much you could use! I hope Blake is taking you out for a nice dinner when he gets home tonight! I don't think Briana will have a hard time finding someone, he is so sweet and has a great personality and look at Lilly. It just may take a few years! This guy sounds really nice and sounds like he really likes Lilly so that is very encouraging!!!:cheer2:

Lin...I'm glad your set is coming along, sorry it is going so slowly! I'm sure in the end it's going to be great!!! Have fun today cooking, shopping and cleaning!:dance3:

Lizziesmom....Those gloves are big here this year too! Actually they were pretty popular last winter too. They call them glittens here too.

Sharon...Sorry about your water heater! Isn't it nice when things start to go out just before the holidays! Sorry about the cold showers too! :scared: It sounds like your really lucky you didn't have a fire!!!! I'm glad it will be fixed soon! Your benefit dinner sounds like it was fun!

Well hubby is home from hunting!:dance3: :yay: :cool1: I sent him up to take a shower, OMG did he smell!!! :scared1:

My kiddies are off school all week, so I have to come up with some stuff to keep us busy!:scared:

Have a great day everyone!!!

Now I'm confused... I've forgotten what we were talking about!

Donna: Oh yes, glittens are all the rage this year, at least in Lyzzie's school they are. We even saw some at the Disney Store with Mickey on one hand and Minnie on the other!
The glittens! We were out shopping last weekend, and she was looking for "these mitten gloves".... I had no clue what she was talking about. Now I understand! Oh, she would so go for the Mickey/Minnie ones! Since she hasn't worked in 2 months we don't know what's in the store. But.... the show is OVER - and it'll be back to work for her.

Lin - BTW - we found out that the show is NOT Company... she said it to throw the kids off. Now the rumor is - two male leads - one Tenor, one Baritone. Three female leads. Tough music. We have no idea. We will find out tomorrow.

Michele - glad to hear you're having fun scrapbooking. I enjoy doing it, but just don't ever seem to be able to find the time. I think the online photobook scrapbooking is going to work really well for me. My dad's book is coming along beautifully, but I STILL have a lot of photos to scan, restore and upload! I've already started a book for our June 2007 trip.

Michele....That's great for Briana! :dance3: :yay: Tell her Aunt Lesa is so happy for her! Sounds like he passed the "Nick" test! :thumbsup2

I can't believe David left and didn't tell anyone he was leaving! He had to have left early because I wasn't expecting him home until noon and he was home at 10. He was showing Maddie pictures he took and she was so excited to see a picture of a dead deer and very disappointed he didn't get one!:scared1: Who's child is this anyway??????:scared:

Gracie sure as heck missed her daddy! She wouldn't even let him in the door, I'm surprised she didn't pee she was so happy!:lmao: Well gotta run, Dh is finished showering so I can officially welcome him home!!!:yay:
