We are too...just me and HisMajesty. We will be on the Air Force base...safe but not my favorite place to stay. Friday night we have a 40th b-day party to go to for a high school friend of mine. Where will you guys be?

Hey there YM! I was actually shocked she wanted to put the tooth under the pillow so quickly. She has a history of writing the tooth fairy and asking her to come back and get her tooth later. This is the first tooth she has lost without someone (me) it out. The child will have a loose tooth for like a year, it will be dangling on a piece of spit and still not want it to come out. I take that back, the last one fell out while she was eating a donut and I was washing it off when I dropped the darn thing down the drain. This one fell out at school during their Thanksgiving feast while she was munching on broccoli and the nurse gave her a cute little tooth box. It was the highlight of her day!

The tooth fairy did come! Actually Britt snuck downstairs a bit ago asking if she could let the tooth fairy in. She was so excited when I said yes, she folded the dollars into little fans, then asked if she had to touch the tooth.


They tested her for some food allergies but mostly environmental allergies, more like pet allergies. The Dr is convenced she is allergic to the dog.

Well I'd better shut off the lights! I didn't get much sleep last night because of the damn dog. Every time I'd just start to doze off she would start barking and jump off the bed all puffed up like someone was there. I was freaking out!!! I finally stayed up watching TV till it was time to get the kids up because she had me so spooked! So I may just be dogless if it happens again tonight, I won't have to worry if it comes back Maddie is allergic to her!

Awww...that's so cute of Britt! I know there are times we doubt our boys like each other but little moments like that are cool!

Oh...my DS had one so loose that we think he swallowed it while he was sleeping.

Well, maybe the testing will provide a little insight? DS has been on allergy shots for a year now. I believe they are helping with the sinus stuff but I hope to see more improvement with the asthma.

Hmmm...would that be bad news about the dog? Just kidding...our dog has been a pain lately with digging and barking.

Chase is a changed swimmer......he LIKES it!! I think it is because he now realizes that he's GOOD.

All it takes is some self confidence! I wish Britt had that with her tumbling, she could actually be good at it, but she thinks she's not, so she's not!


YM isn't that the truth, siblings act like the hate each other, then they do something like that and you see how much the really do love the other! It was so sweet, and she is very careful not to let the cat out of the bag!

Wow...we like to go hang out at Bricktown. The boys love the Bass Pro shop and movies and eating at the 'dine in' Sonic. The big reason I'm going and the kids are staying here is so we can go to my friends b-day party! I think we are planning on going to the Owasso Midwest city game since we will be there! Where is the OKC Community College located? Will it just be you and the boys?

Yes...they do sometimes show that they care about their sibling! My oldest DS accidently broke his $200 PSP. Both my boys were crying about it. My little came to me later and ask if he could earn $33? That's what he needed to add to his money stash to buy his brother a new one. So sweet!

Good night...I'm going to need to turn in soon myself. I took some tylenol pm for my sore muscles (I actually exercised yesterday ).

Mike is finally getting to feel him more. Before, each time Mike would touch me, he would stop kicking. Now, I think he kicks harder.

My levels are pretty good. I thought for sure they were going to put me on medication, but they still haven't (not that I'm complaining). I hope I can keep them under control (although with Thanksgiving...)


We have no big plans this weekend. I think we are going to go shopping. Mike's birthday is Tuesday, but since he'll probably work late, I want to do his dinner this weekend.

morning everyone...TGIF is right

I went out last night with the girls from work..one of the p.a.'s is moving to TX. We went to Billys Tavern and had a great time.
when I got home, there was a really strong electric/burning smell in the house..DH was still at work. I turned off the circuit breaker but the smell didnt go away. We think it might be the water heater? I was up all night on the couch, afraid of a fire. (fire extinguisher at the ready!) SO, I am the first service call this a.m. between 8-9. so much for work and fingers crossed its not too expensive! I have to shut down the computer so I will check in later! wish me luck!

That sounds like something Blake would say!! I'll go with you Donna, I keep thinking about how much I wanted to be there this weekend for my birthday. A year ago August we arrived in WDW on Blake's birthday. He didn't appreciate it like I would have.

I agree. Mike would care less but I would love it! Well, I was there last year for my birthday He even watched Kenny (who was sick!) while I ran to DTD and did some shopping for a couple hours
40 minutes that is crazy! I ran to Kohls at lunch Wed. to get some jeans. By the time I found some that fit and got to the lines...they were ridiculous, so I put them back and walked out We're going shopping this weekend, and maybe next too so, no biggie!

Yesterday I was a little upset with how Maddie was treated getting this allergy test.

Glad to hear Maddie is doing much better, but those nurses that is just ridiculous! That is no way to treat a child! Like she'll ever want her blood drawn or a shot ever again now that is so sad! Totally uncalled for!

Lyzzie's figured she must be at the end of her tooth fairy's route because she gets whatever the fairy has left over. And girls have girl fairies, and boys have boy fairies of course!

Lyzzie is so cute!

Hey Linda...yee-haw (in my best okie accent)...it won't be long I plan on getting to work with the packing and shopping next weekend. We actually have a busy weekend ahead. I really want to find a small lighted 3 1/2foot tree to pack. I've seen them for about $20 at Target and Walgreens. I think the boys will really love that!
I'll try not to go overbaord...I'm sure HisMajesty thinks we've already dished out enougt $$$ for the package!There's also a very large tree in the lobby of the WL.

Well, after that comment about a nice December Disney trip I certainly hope he doesn't get dinner cooked for him.

In fact, we have to be in Oklahoma City (1 1/2 to 2 hr drive) at 5 pm tomorrow night. Thy each swim 2 events tomorrow night, then they swim Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

It just may be an allergy to Gracie! Mike, Kenny and I are all allergic to the dogs we had. We got rid of the dogs and it did wonders for us. Good luck!

pozey: Sorry I missed you last night, stranger! Sounds like you have a fun, busy weekend planned. I don't have much planned. I'd like to hit a couple of consignment shops and look for Christmas dresses for the girls and maybe some winter clothes for Emma - all her stuff from last year is too short! We might go see a movie too, there are a lot of good family movies playing this weekend.

Lyzzie found an old "Jump Start Baby" computer game that we gave to Emma to play at my mom's house, so my dad was busy installing it this morning and getting her started. She has suddenly decided she loves the computer, but gets frustrated because she wants to play hard games and doesn't have the mouse skills and ends up asking for so much help, pretty soon she's not even the one playing anymore. So even though the games on this CD are for babies, they will help her gain the skills she needs to play games geared more for her age level. She is SO excited about it -- I bet Mom won't get much done today!

I've told the kids that there won't be as many Christmas gifts as they are used to this year. Usually they get a ton of little things, and one or two bigger gifts. This year I'm going to cut back on the little things. I have a bunch of stuff in a closet already that I buy periodically when I find great sales, usually clearance items. Most of it is for Emma, because Lyzzie gets so much from her grandparents and Emma doesn't have that. I'm just trying to decide if the "big" gift this year should come from me or from Santa. And of course what the heck that big gift will be! For Lyzzie, probably a DS and a couple of games. For Emma... I have no idea!

update...apparantly the a/c leaking caused the waterheater to spark, charring the insulation causing the bad smell. the technician who came out was very nice, he was here well over an hour but only charged for one hours work ($95) hopefully it didnt short out the waterheater, which I will only know after I take a shower! will keep you posted! (I know everyone is on the edge of their seats...lol) bye for now

2 hours until the weekend!!

Next week will be a very short week for me, I'm taking Wednesday off in addition to our regular paid holiday days of Thurs & Fri. So I only have 2 days of work next week, yay!! Then... no more days off until Christmas. I need to go get my new license plates and stuff on Wed, I'm not looking forward to it! It's not cheap, and the Cwooozah! is considered a "light truck" so they can charge more. Oops!

I found the cutest Xmas dress for Emma at Target today but I didn't buy it because they didn't have one in Lyzzie's size that coordinated with it. It was a black velvet dress with tiny pink flowers embroidered all over it and a pink belt sewn on. So adorable! I'll have to see if I can find a picture. If we don't find anything at the consignment shop I might go back and buy that one, it was only $12.99!

ETA: Here's the dress. It looked much cuter in person!
