Well, I guess Nicole is on her way to WDW now!

I had to show Gary the video of the castle lit up for Christmas and told him that I was hoping somebody would realize that I just HAD to see it!! I also told him that there was availibility at either Pop or The Boardwalk Inn for Dec 8th-11th and a flight on SW would make a really great Christmas present. (hint, hint ) He told me that he sure hoped I found that person to give me that wonderful present, because it wasn't going to be him. Humph!!! I'm so hopeless!!

That sounds like something Blake would say!! I'll go with you Donna, I keep thinking about how much I wanted to be there this weekend for my birthday. A year ago August we arrived in WDW on Blake's birthday. He didn't appreciate it like I would have.

I went to the grocery store this afternoon. I went to one I don't normally go to and every time I go there I remember why!!! There was 1 woman in line in front of me and I was in line for over 40 minutes!!!!

Matt is at basketball try-outs. He finds out tonight who makes the team. I'm sure he will be on JV, that is where he wants to be based on the coach.

Opening day for hunting was this morning. I haven't heard from Blake yet to see if he is bringing any 'gifts' home

At work on our birthdays we bring in treats, so I have to make treats to bring in.

I always knew that song as Winkin, Blinkin and Nod...its a classic bedtime story. Guess he rewrote it! I always loved that one.

Lin - that castle lighting vid was great - thanks!! You know - we saw the lights on the castle in October, and suspected they had something awesome in the works for the Holidays. I don't feel so bad skimming past the "show" part... since you guys did too... I just wanted to see the lights!! Thanks for the info on the Samantha Brown show, too. Rumor has it we're doing "Company" for the spring musical.

Ugg, I have to say that Company is my least favorite musical in the whole wide world. I usually love Sondheim, but not that one!

Arrrrgh, I'm so frustrated! I finally had a chance to call the dr's office and they "can't find the notes" on my account and seemed to have no idea what's going on.

Oh they're calling me right now. Aaaaand... still have no idea.


Update: I was able to work out a payment plan so I don't have to pay it all in one chunk, and I don't have to miss my appointment. What really kills me is, this whole thing came around because of their error. They kept telling me I didn't have a copay with my insurance, and I kept telling them yes I do. This went on for a year. My primary care dr. is in the same practice, so those visits did the same thing too. NOW they've realized their error and are billing me for a year's worth of copays, plus all costs up to my deductible because they messed up on that information as well. This place is just so disorganized!

I also got a bill the other day from the urgent care center where I took Lyzzie for her burned tongue. They had us down as being uninsured and were trying to bill me $300 for the visit, to tell me "yep that's a burn!" Healthcare is so flippin' screwy (not the words I'd really like to use). I had to call Lyzzie's insurance company (the kids are insured through Medicaid) and get her information since they still never sent cards - I requested those again too. Blah, I'm done with doctors for today. Except I still have to go see the new one tonight. Hopefully that will go well, it's just an evaluation and I am in a bit of pain today - usually it figures that when I have an evaluation, it always falls on a good day when it doesn't hurt much!


I was reading on another forum that it's considered bad "message board etiquette" to use long paragraphs. I've never heard that before! It makes sense though. I just try to keep each thought in its own paragraph - which isn't always easy with the way my mind wanders!

While I was looking through my pictures I came across this one and thought Amber might like it. I took it at the pin station in Epcot while I was buying her pin. Emma loved pin shopping!

Two things.
1. There was a big tanker truck explosion on 35 tonight near my church and my parents. The driver of the tanker was the son-in-law of one of our church members and has burns to 98% of his body, he is not expected to survive. Please keep them in your prayers.

2. Slight kink to our Disney plans. My friend Ashley is on CP and is getting us friends and family discount which is why we are able to go. Just got an email from her and she is sick and having to quit the program and come home this weekend. She is going to see if one of her roomies will check us in, but if not we will have to cancel our trip! Pray that it works out.

I hope everyone is well! Maddie is doing much better, no more wheezing (knock on wood)! It was pretty rough for a while there, she kept breaking through all her meds. The Dr did an allergy test yesterday so we should get the results of that early next week.

Yesterday I was a little upset with how Maddie was treated getting this allergy test. It was a blood test, so 2 nurses walk in the room. Neither one looked very friendly, they didn't even speak to Madison until the one told Madison to let her look at her arm. Madison started to get nervous and backing away. The nurse got nasty with her saying if she didn't cooperate they would get another nurse in there and hold her done and still draw her blood. Madison started to freak out by then (a poor attempt to calm a child IMO) then she said again in a nasty voice that she had better calm down or she was holding her down. By that time she had Madison so upset there was no calming her down so of course they grabbed her and held her down. When the nurse was done she could tell I was pretty mad and told me she had been doing this for 20 years and she knew what she was doing. I told her I was glad she knew what she was doing because she just undid all I had accomplished with Madison finally sitting still for her shots. I didn't want to put up too much of a fuss in front of Maddie, but I told her I was sorry the nurses came in and scared her so bad, and I called the office this afternoon to file a complaint. Why on earth do they hire such people in a peds office? I swear it was as if she had never met a child before.

Michele...I talked to David earlier. No Deers, it is cold, it snowed, and now it's time for beer and poker! The calls kept getting dropped, so we didn't talk to much.

Hi Lin! How awful about the truck driver! I will keep him in my thoughts! I hope you don't have to cancel your trip. That stinks your friend has to quit the CP!

I have to keep myself awake long enough for the tooth fairy to come tonight. I am really bad at falling asleep and not letting her in the door when she comes.

Our tooth fairy has had to leave a note explaining why she couldn't come on time, and some extra money to make up for it! Lyzzie has decided that every kid has their own tooth fairy, and maybe some share (one fairy might have a bunch of kids) but none that live near each other. That's why sometimes she's late, and why some kids get as much as $10 and Lyzzie gets a handful of change. Lyzzie's figured she must be at the end of her tooth fairy's route because she gets whatever the fairy has left over. And girls have girl fairies, and boys have boy fairies of course!

Lin: I wish that family the best. It might be a blessing if he doesn't make it - 98% burned sounds horrible. How scary and awful. Oh that's too bad that you might not get the discounted tickets. I hope you can work it out!

Hey Linda...yee-haw (in my best okie accent)...it won't be long. I plan on getting to work with the packing and shopping next weekend. We actually have a busy weekend ahead. I really want to find a small lighted 3 1/2foot tree to pack. I've seen them for about $20 at Target and Walgreens. I think the boys will really love that!
I'll try not to go overbaord...I'm sure HisMajesty thinks we've already dished out enougt $$$ for the package! There's also a very large tree in the lobby of the WL.
