Good Morning All!

Donna, breakfast looks great!

pozey, congrats to the buys!

Michele, Lilly is just too cute. She has the most beautiful eyes. princess:

Lesa, sorry Maddie is still sick. I hop she gets better soon.

Ashley, the cruise sounds great. I would love to go away for the holidays, but that's not going to happen. I love that shirt!

Lyzziesmom, the circus sounded fun (well, maybe not the clowns :) ).

My weekend went by way too fast. Mike had to work a bit both days. He is pretty close to quitting. He wants me to type up his notice today. :guilty: The company STILL has not yet fixed the van, sent another, or even bothered to answer him about when something will be done. We can't afford to rent a truck again (especially considering how much they already owe him).
He couldn't sleep at all last night and is just so unhappy. :guilty: This isn't a good time of year for him anyway since he doesn't really have family here to celebrate his birthday and the holidays. To add the stress of his job on top is just too much for him. :guilty:

Amber I'm so sorry about all this stress your DH (and you) are having from his job. It just sounds awful. Hang in there...you have your bright spot on the way!

Donna...no worry...the breakfast was delicous!;)

Yes, I do, I go in at 4. I'm kind of nervous! :rotfl: I know I shouldn't be though.

That's ok...a few butterflies are good. Once you get in there with all those good smelling candles you'll settle down! Good luck!:thumbsup2 (thumb of course).

Thanks for letting me vent (again  )

Mike called a bit ago. For the minute, he's going to hold off on giving his notice. However, this is yet another example of how stupid his company is: He finally got a call saying that they had a van they wanted to bring him. However, now they are trying to figure out how a.) to get the driver back up to the main warehouse and 2.) how to get the broken van back. It seems that no one ever thought about having to deal with a broken van (even though Mike has made it quite clear the van doesn't work). :headache: Mike suggested having two people drive down and then ride back together, but for whatever reason, that isn't an option. :confused3

I seriously can't understand this company. It's almost comical.

Good morning!

I need some quick cliqueless crew editing....Please!:flower3: If you remember a few days ago I mentioned how Britt was being recommended for tutoring in Reading Comprehension because of her ISAP test score. I really don't feel she needs this, however if her teacher feels she will benefit from it then I'm all for it. By the way, she has always recieved an A in her Language Arts class! So please let me know how this sounds before I hit send.:upsidedow Thanks guys! I'm usually really good at editing my letters, but when it is going to a school official :teacher: I like it to sound like I've actually gone through school!:rolleyes1 ;)

Dear Mrs. XXX,

I recieved a letter last week saying my daughter Brittany XXX qualified for the Reading Comprehension tutoring program. I was a little shocked at this as this is something Brittany does really well at. I would have expected this in something more like Math.

I am wondering if this is a recommendation based strictly on her ISAP test, or is it the test in combination with her teacher recommending this. I feel if it is based on both this would be a wonderful opportunity for Brittany to learn some skills she might possibly be lacking. However, if it is based strictly on the ISAP results I am not as concerned as I do not believe this test accurately reflects Brittany's reading ability.

Please let me know if Brittany's Language Arts teacher feels this would be a benefit to her.

Thank for your time on this matter and look forward to hearing from you. As you know the form is due back to you on Wednesday, so please call me if you wish to discuss this matter further.

Thanks again!

Sincerely,
Lesa XXX

Amber I'm so sorry you and your DH are going through the stress of his work! This is something you definitely don't need right now!:sad2: I'm sorry to say, but it sounds like he works for some really big morons!!! Is this a Frick and Frack start a business kind of place? It certainly sounds that way!!! I can understand his feeling frustrated as he seems to know what he's talking about, however the brains behind the company haven't a clue. Maybe it's time for him to get his resume out there, there has to be something better than what he's doing!:sad2: Good luck to you guys!

Nicole, good luck on your first day of work! :yay: I'm sure you'll do great!

Does anyone know if the people at CRO can see how any times you've called them and what for? :rolleyes1 I called to confirm everything with them and when the lady transfered me to dining because I somehow lost my ADR conf. numbers, the person wouldn't give them to me! She said to just get them from the resort. I need those numbers! I think I'll call back later on tonight.

Hi Michele! I absolutely LOVE  this picture! Look at those eyes!! What a cutie pie. Her costume was really cute too. Hope everything's ok and things calm down a little for you. I love the photobooks. I did a small one of the girls and made it into a little storybook about being sisters, they love looking at it. I was slightly disappointed because I thought it would hardbound and it wasn't, but that was my own fault for not paying attention. They are so cute and soooo easy to make! The hard part is deciding which pictures to use, I can never choose my favorites. I hope you like yours -- and get to look at it soon! Sign me up for the 2012 trip -- it's never too early to plan! Can I start packing yet?

Late January. I hope I get accepted!

I hope you do too!

Well, I'm off to bed...after I check to see if there is an update to Ashley or Lyzziesmoms trip report... I'm just sayin'....

I know I know, I haven't updated mine in like a month. I'm awful about it! I just haven't felt motivated lately, it's too depressing knowing I won't be back anytime soon.

Amber: I'm so sorry to hear Mike's employer is still being a weeniehead. How can they stay in business with that kind of attitude and business practices? It makes no sense to me. Is he looking for something else? It's always nice to look when you don't absolutely need to, just to get an idea of what else is out there. I sometimes will apply for jobs that I'm pretty sure I'm not qualified for, just to see what happens. Usually nothing but you never know unless you try, and it sounds like he definitely could use a change. I don't know how he puts up with it!

Yes, I do, I go in at 4. I'm kind of nervous! :rotfl: I know I shouldn't be though.

It's always nerve-wracking to start something new. I'm sure you'll do great and they'll love you. Have a great first day, we'll be thinking of you!! :grouphug:

Lesa: Have you tried talking directly to Brittany's teacher to find out if (s)he recommends the tutoring? I'll help with your editing, if you don't mind a little constructive criticism. (Grammar Nazi to the rescue!!) I think the letter looks great!! A few minor suggestions (I'll put my changes in red) and remember they are just suggestions!! The only change that I would recommend definitely making is in the 2nd sentence, it ends with "at." A sentence should never end with a preposition. Good luck with getting it all figured out, and Brittany -- NO MORE CONNECT THE DOTS!!

Nicole, don't be nervous; you are going to do great!

I have no idea if they can tell how much you call. I would call again and tell them you need the ADR numbers now (in case you need to change something). There is no reason for you to wait until you get to the resort. Good luck!

Lesa, I think the letter sounds good. :thumbsup2 (thumb)

Mike's company is run by a bunch of morons. They are actually a fairly big company (although they are only state wide). It is owned by a family and all the other locations are run by the family members. Since Mike isn't family, they don't make his location a priority (even though they do a TON of business- more than some of the ther locations). There are good things about the company, but not enough to put up with the craziness.

Part of the issue is that Mike has always gone above and beyond for them. Now, they just expect him to be able to do everything, but there is a point in which he just can't anymore.
