We had a wonderful time but I am pooped as usual after walking the thousands of steps around WDW.

We got home really late Monday night, but I had to work yesterday and today and am trying to catch up on laundry, etc.

I'm ready to go back.

Having a bit of after-vacation blues.

Hope everything is A-okay with everyone-----I haven't had a chance to catch up here. My computer needs updating and I won't be able to get to it until this weekend (hopefully), so I won't be able to be on it much until then.

Hi everyone!


Today has been a good birthday for me! I got a call this afternoon from Yankee Candle Co and they hired me!!!! And then I went to the Disney College Program presentation and am all pumped up about it!!!! Since we were a small group we had a group interview there and she said we all did a good job on it. At first I was going to do the spring program but then decided to go ahead and do the spring advantage program, so if I get in that means I'll be there from mid Jan to August. I picked vacation planner, so that means I'd be selling tickets and whatnot. I'm so excited! Hopefully I'll get in!!!!!

Well, this has been Spirit Week at Nathan's school. Yesterday was Crazy Hat Day; he wore his Wolf hat (from Peter & The Wolf). Today is pajama day. I had to go out and buy fleecy pj bottoms for him to wear. Tomorrow is Spirit Wear Day....that should be easier!!

Lyzziesmom - sorry for the kitty troubles, I hope she works out better outdoors. It's sad you had to resort to that, but what can you do? She can't be peeing all over the toys.

Ooooh! I went on Myxertones last night, and there's a bunch of new ringtones from Epcot on there!! I snagged Illuminations and the Epcot Entrance music... and I'm not done yet. They also have "In The Big Blue World" from the new Nemo ride and also the stage show - how appropriate!

Lin, I for one knew exactly what you were talking about when you posted about Princess Face's demise..... I hope you are feeling better today.

Lyzziesmom, I have to agree with Lesa about Dusty. I would bring him to a no kill shelter before I let an elderly cat outside, especially since its getting cold out. I know its your decision but I wouldn't be able to do that!! I sure do know how frusterating it is to have a cat peeing in the house....but when you get a cat it is a commitment you make to their health and safety for better or for worse!! I hope it works out...

Nicole, great news about Yankee Candle!!! I just discovered them in the last few months and I love burning their tarts...You know what I heard?? Yao's girlfriend goes to college in Houston- I wonder if its the same school as you?? You need to become friends, get invited to her (very large I'm sure) house and then invite Jeremiah & I for a visit. BTW, I think my parents and I are planning a trip in Feb of next year, so if you are working at WDW we could come see you!!!

Hi to everyone else!! Tomorrow I have a neuro appointment so Jeremiah is taking off. He has Monday off too so its gonna be a 4 day weekend I also found all of his birthday presents online (his birthday is Dec 20) and got an idea for our anniversary- I would tell ya but I know he reads this thread sometimes

Donna's breakfast inspired me to go to IHOP tomorrow after my appointment... I want some pancakes!

I LOVE that song!! I think its adorable. I think its a great addition to the Living Seas...I can't say I enjoyed the Finding Nemo show at Animal Kingdom though The idea was cute but I couldn't get into seeing the people with the puppets I loved the set and costumes though!!!

I just remembered they got married in the off season! So its his wife...I heard she is taking English classes to learn the language more fluently, and then she will take other classes when she knows the language better...

Do you guys have the dining plan? Where are you planning on eating? If your staying at AKL I have to say Boma REALLY exceeded my expectations....I loved it!!! ETA, now I'm craving their chicken curry soup and its only 9:30 in the morning I got the recipe, maybe I should try it this weekend!! I loved AKL. I really want to stay there one day! I know some people think its too 'dark' but I LOVED it there!

Trust me, Jeremiah & I are REALLY picky and everything was SO GOOD!!! I was reluctant to go and almost cancelled, but I'm so glad I went!! And if you do decide to go- there is always the kids section (with yummy chicken fingers, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, fries, mac and cheese, stuff like that) if you don't like anything else you see!

ETA, I just realized I can eat at LTT at lunch!! They don't have characters at lunch

I think I've told ya'll that my sister is a fashion merchandising major. We have a local morning show called Great Day Houston here, and her former instructor asked her if she would like to help them every once in a while picking out jewelry and clothes for upcoming segments. About 2 months ago she helped them pick out some jewelry and sat in the audience. Today she's actually going to be in a segment! They are going to curl her eyelashes! Which is funny because my sister has beautiful lashes! So I'm watching the show at work. If I can find a link, I'll post it later on.
